Surbhi had never been to a cricket stadium before, much because she had never really been into the sport itself. But today, standing amongst the crowd gathered at IS Bindra Stadium and cheering along with them for her home-town team- Kings' XI Punjab- she regretted not giving this experience a chance in the past 22 years of her life. She had come here on behalf of Star Plus, admittedly, but she felt like a part of the general public now, with excitement running high as Gayle, yet again, hit a sixer.

The synchronized cry of disappointment that echoed in the ground when Gayle was out made Surbhi see just how cricket brought people closer, and she made a mental note to herself to watch this sports more, and finally listen to her cricket fanatic jiju! Moving her gaze towards the large screen in the stadium, she saw that they were displaying the name of the next batsman of KXIP.

And as his picture, where he was sporting a serious look, came on the screen, Surbhi's heart skipped a beat.

Gosh, how had she never noticed this handsome cricketer before!

When finally, with just two balls remaining, Ashwin hit a sixer and won them their match, Nakuul sighed out in relief. He had thought his 80 runs off just 38 balls would go futile, but thankfully their vice-captain had saved the day. As they all gathered for the post-match presentation, Nakuul's name was called out.

"...and the Nayi Soch award by Star Plus of 1 Lakh Rupees goes to Nakuul Mehta, for his splendid performance today! May I please request Annika from Star Plus to hand over the check."

Nakuul made his way towards where the presentation was taking place. He was first engulfed in a tight hug by their owner- the fabulous Preity Zinta. Moving forward, he went to collect his presentation check.

And as he looked up to see the actress who would be giving him the award, his heart skipped a beat.

Woah, how had he never noticed this beautiful woman before!
