Well hello people! Guess who we are back with today? Yes, that's right-- our favorite couple, Narbhi, as their fans like to call them! If you're on Insta, chances are you have definitely seen Surbhi Chandna and Nakuul Mehta's aesthetic vacay pictures already. Although they gave us no indication of it from before, the two flew off for a romantic rendezvous to the beautiful island in Waiheke, to spend some much-needed alone time together after India's series against Australia. This is just after it was Nakuul's birthday, and we are assuming that this is his birthday gift from his lovely girlfriend! The two haven't answered to the media's various calls and questions about whether they are together, and neither have they 'really' posted pictures with each other on this trip. However, being the detectives that we all are, it was easy to figure out that they are indeed together in Waiheke. Very cheekily, they put up stories and posts that do not show the other person's face, but these are still so adorably cute that we cannot help but fangirl over this gorgeous couple, right?
In case you live under a rock and have not taken a look at their Instagram yet, here's screenshots of stories Nakuul and Surbhi put up just yesterday. We hope that they will officially declare their relationship status soon and FINALLY give us a full picture, but till then, let's keep on gushing over these!

Nakuul had always been intrigued by the smallest wonders of life. His fascination for little things ranged from the smell of old books in libraries on the verge of shutting down, to the smell of rain hitting the ground on a particularly bad day that suddenly made everything better, to the feeling of gripping his cricket bat tightly in his hands, knowing how crucial his performance would be to an entire nation. His mother would always tell anyone who would listen that it was this fondness for everything in life that had made him into the person he was-- the kind man who wouldn't think twice before giving away his most expensive of materials to someone who wanted it. Nakuul would always brush away these compliments, but he did agree to the fact that everything in life was captivating.
It was just as well, then, that the enigma called Surbhi Chandna had entered into his life. She was all beautiful things the world was comprised of and more. With her brilliant cocoa skin to her dazzling smile, she had him enchanted. She had a certain kind of passion in her, such that he had never seen before, and even after dating for almost 4 months, he couldn't believe that a person like her could be his. That she loved him just as much as he loved her.
"Where are you lost?"
Hearing the voice of the very person he was lost in, Nakuul smiled and shook his head. They were sitting on the private beach of the resort around a small campfire, with a few other guests who were residing there. Marino Ridge had organized a small music night kind of thing, and a French man was strumming the guitar while everyone else chatted, drank wine, or listened silently. The sun was about to set and the aura was extremely vibrant. Romantic, even.
"I'm lost in you, as usual," Nakuul replied. "Why do you have to be so beautiful?"
Surbhi blushed even as she lightly smacked his arm. She was wearing a simple, white dress that reached her mid-thighs and exposed her golden legs. She had taken a shower just before coming, since the two had taken a dip in their private pool after lunch, and with her hair still slightly damp, she looked gorgeous.
There was a sound of someone tinkling a spoon against their wine glass, and everyone turned to the assistant manager of the resort-- a jovial man in his mid-thirties, dressed in a floral-printed shirt with shorts.
"People, may I have your attention, please?"
As everyone stopped what they were doing and sat down surrounding the fire to look at him, he continued-
"To make the atmosphere more lively, I would request all of you out here to sing songs for us! And because we are most of us from different parts of the world, why not sing a song from your country?"
Everyone cheered and hooted at that. Nakuul and Surbhi too clapped their hands enthusiastically.
"Hmm, let's see," The man said, moving around the circle they had all formed, "Why don't we start with... Mr. Mehta!"
Nakuul didn't realize when the man had come and stood right behind him, and he looked up with wide eyes.
"What-- me? I can't sing!"
"Oh come on," The manager urged, "You don't have to be a good singer, just sing with emotions, my friend! How about, you sing for us something that you can relate back to the first time you saw your lovely girlfriend?"
Nakuul turned to look at Surbhi as everyone else cheered for him, to ask her for a way of escape. However, she was looking at him expectantly, her almond-shaped eyes full of love and hope, and he had to relent. Clearing his throat, he took a deep breath.
"Ek Ladki ko dekha toh aisa laga"
As everyone around hooted for him loudly, Nakuul turned to his girlfriend with a huge grin on his face. Surbhi blushed a bright pink and looked down shyly.
"Ek ladki ko dekha to aisa laga
Jaise khilta gulaab
Jaise shayar ka khwab"
The French guy swiftly picked up the chords and started strumming his guitar, while everyone clapped with the beat. Nakuul held Surbhi's hands and kept on singing-- as the manager had said, it didn't matter if he had a good singing voice or not. It was so full of passion and honesty that everyone was in awe of him.
"Jaise ujali kiran,
jaise ban mein hiran
Jaise chandni raat,
jaise narmi baat
Jaise mandir mein ho ek jalta diya...
Ho.. ek ladki ko dekha to aisa laga..."
As he finished, everyone burst into applause, while Surbhi leaned in and gave him a soft kiss on his cheek.
"I love you," She whispered into his ear.
"I love you more," Nakuul replied, brushing his lips lightly against hers.
As the sun set, people from different places sang songs in their native language, some lively while some romantic. Many couples slowly started dancing on the sand, and Nakuul and Surbhi joined. He held her close by the waist, her hands resting on his well-built, shirt-clad chest. At everyone's insistence, Surbhi also sang for Nakuul, while dancing in his arms. She had a melodious voice that Nakuul absolutely loved, and so did everyone around.
"Tu Tu Hai Vohi
Dil Ne Jisse Apna Kaha
Tu Hai Jahan Main Hoon Vahan
Ab To Yeh Jeena Tere Bin Hai Saza
O Mil Jaaye Is Tarah, Do Lehre Jis Tarah
Phir Ho Na Judaa, Haan Yeh Vaada Raha..."
It was almost dark now, and while most of the others had gone back to their rooms or outside for sight-seeing, Nakuul and Surbhi were amongst the few people on the beach. A soft music was playing in the background and the couple that was so much in love was lost in each other. Their foreheads pressed together, they rocked lightly to the music. They kept on inching closer even if that was not physically possible, and grinning, Nakuul picked Surbhi up slightly and made her stand on his feet. She looped her arms around his neck and placed a kiss under the soft spot below his ear. Nakuul could, up so close, see the faint mark on her neck he had given her yesterday, one she had so tactically tried to hide using concealer. Seeing that with the pleasurable jolt that passed through him due to the touch of her lips, he couldn't help but groan.
"Do you have any idea what you do to me?"
His voice was raspy and he really didn't want to scare her in any way, but he couldn't help it. Nakuul's senses were brimming with passion and his need to be as close to her as possible had been building up in the past few days, what with them sharing a room and cuddling to sleep and her driving him crazy-- she would come out of the shower in her bathrobe, looking decent to anyone's eyes but his. He was, after all, her boyfriend and that exotic scent she gave off with her skin glistening with water droplets...well, it really drove him insane.
Turns out Nakuul didn't have to worry, though. As she looked up at him innocently enough while they swayed in each others' arms, he could see the same desire in her eyes that he knew his blue-orbs were full of. Involuntarily, she inched closer, slanting her head slightly and parting her lips to invite him. Nakuul cursed under his breath at what that simple move did to him, before swooping down and taking her mouth in his. He tried to keep the kiss slow and gentle but it was Surbhi who knotted one hand in his hair and deepened the kiss, nudging his mouth open with her tongue. If there were people around in this seemingly empty beach, they couldn't bother less. Nakuul had never felt this raw need before, and pulling away to catch his breath, he took a look at his girl. With her lips slightly swollen and eyes open wide, she looked even more enticing than usual, if possible.
"Do you wanna go back to the room?" Nakuul asked her. There was no easy way to put this but he really needed her. Needed to feel her soft skin under his finger-tips, and show her how much he loved her and how she meant more than life itself to him. Looking at him for a few seconds, Surbhi nodded, making up her decision. Taking her hand in his, Nakuul all but ran back to the privacy of their room.
