Magic crouched low to the murky floor of the Black Pearl. Her white belly fur scraped the damp,soggy wood of the deck below. The Black pearl was docking at a port. It had only been five days since she had met with Princess Aurora, Who told her of the "Quest for the Key". The first character who had a clue was Stitch. The ship jerked as they docked. Yells rose from the deck above. Magic jumped as she heard someone coming down the steps. She hid behind a barrel as two men sneaked down the steps. A short bulky man helped the taller one lift up a chest full of Treasure. "Shhh! They'll hear us ya bilge rat!" The short man shushed the other as he giggled. "We're gonna be rich! Hey! I bet i could buy me a new eye couldn't I? Heh heh heh!" The taller man with a patch over his right eye whispered loudly."Ah shut yer trap!" the short man retorted. When the two men were gone Magic slipped out of her hiding place and crept on the top deck. One man was at the wheel guarding the ship. He was already dozing off on the job. Magic growled at him softly and clawed her way down the ramp. She ran straight behind some crates and peeked around the side. Jack Sparrow was farther down the dock with the rest of his crew. Magic sighed and lurked behind them until she was out of sight. Her search began for more cats to join her quest. Two other ships were docked near the Pearl,obviously ready to set sail anytime soon. Magic headed deep into the dark town of Tortuga. Jack and his crew always stayed at the tavern until very late at night. "Scat cat!" A large man threw a empty rum bottle at a black cat just missing him. The black cat turned to hiss at the man before racing back to the dark alley. Magic bolted after him dodging the man's crates and bottles he threw at them.  Magic dove into the black alley cat knocking him out of the way just before a crate slammed down on him. " Y-you saved my life..." The cat whispered. "Run!" Magic ran into his shoulder. "Hurry!" Magic Yowled at the cat. Magic and the alley cat bolted off to safety before the man caught up to them. The two cats stopped at the end of the alley and collapsed on the muddy cobblestone. Once he caught his breath he stood up and Thanked Magic. "Thanks for saving me. I'm Night by the way." He meowed helping Magic up. Magic noticed that his white paw was now turning  scarlet. "Hold out your paw." Magic ordered Night. Night raised his hurt paw. "Now lay down please." Magic nodded towards the ground.Night blinked in confusion but did what she said. Magic looked around for a stick but there was none.She padded closer to Night and examined his wounded paw.A shard of glass was shoved deep into his paw."I knew it..."Magic muttered to herself.She got a hold of the piece of glass with her teeth and pulled hard on it. it was half way out before Night screeched in pain pulling his paw back."Hold still or you'll never get it out!"Magic yowled at Night.Reluctantly he raised his paw again, clenching his teeth.Magic pulled on it again,and this time it came out!She spat the bloody piece of glass on the dirty alley of Tortuga and turned back to Night,who was licking the blood from his paw."There It's all done."Magic purred."Thanks." Night murmured.Magic sighed and turned back to leave."Wait!"Night called her back."What?"Magic meowed turning her head back."Uh...Were are you going?"Night asked helplessly.Magic sighed and padded back to Night.She sat close to him and began her story."I'm Magic and I'm on a quest called "Quest for the key".I need to find several cats to help me find an Alien-like fluffy monster named Stitch.And I have until Night-time to find a crew of cats.Stitch is supposed to live on a island named 'Hawaii',he holds the next clue to were the key is.And whoever finishes the Quest gets the treasure."She told Night.He looked at her with wide eyes."Can I join your crew?"He asked.Magic stared at him for a long time judging whether he was good enough."Are you afraid to die at sea?"Magic answered."No."Night replied."Good,you're in!Now follow me,we need to find some more crew members."Magic yowled leading Night out of the alley.                                                                                                                  ~                     ~                   ~               ~                  ~                                                                                   Half the day passed and Magic had found three more cats along with Night willing to help her search.Star,Silver and Mist were bringing up the rear as they tromped down the pirate city streets of Tortuga.It was obvious that Night was getting too tired to carry on anymore.Silver and his sisters were dragging their tails behind them."Er...Maybe we should rest for a bit."Magic suggested.The cats turned off the busy street into an alley.The rest of her crew thankfully plopped down in the black,silent shadows.Night lapped from a nearby puddle.Magic walked over to the shade and laid down.She felt the warm fur of another cat from her.The cat screeched in surprise."What in the seven seas?!"The black cat retorted.Her pale green eyes blazed with fury.She had a nick in her black ear,and she blended right i with the shadows."Sorry!I didn't see you."Magic mewed."Obviously..."She sighed."I'm Shadow.Who are you?"Shadow looked at the other cats curiously."I'm Magic and this is my crew:Night,Silver,Star,and Mist."Magic nodded to the cats."We're looking for more crew members."Magic meowed."Ah,I see...Maybe I'll join.I'll have to tell my brother,boots, though."Shadow suddenly looked excited."You will?!"Magic yowled."On a ship Right?"Shadow asked."Yes."Magic purred.Shadow bounded off to go tell her brother.Yes five Crew-mates already! Magic thought.
