I had a gig today and I forgot the words to the first verse of Check Yes Juliet by We The Kings so I just said "da da da" to the beat of the song and laughed I cri evry tiem

but when there was a part before the second verse where it's just my band playing I said "let's pretend I know the words this time" and people laughed again and it made me v happy bc

1. I didn't just not do anything
2. I didn't make it awkward for myself
3. I made the crowd laugh (@ my failure lolol)

It was great though and so many people came up to me and said they really liked my stage presence and how I put everything together and that I'm not monotone (no offense, but some of the other bands are very monotone and have no energy in their words) like the other bands and they really liked seeing my band play and ahhh so much praise it was amazing

And I heard from one of my friends grandma (we go to school together and he's a drummer in another band) that I'm now her favorite vocalist out of all the bands and she loves seeing me play and she can't wait until the next time we play

AND PEOPLE CAME UP TO ME AND SAID HOW MUCH THEY LIKED MY FILLER OF "da da da" WHEN I FORGOT THE WORDS AND HOW I SAID "let's pretend I know the words this time" AND THEY REALLY LIKED THAT AND THAT IT WAS FUNNY AND LIGHT HEARTED AND MY HEART IS GONE BYE BYE

I HAD A GREAT DAY IM SO HAPPY
