everything that happens in our brain
will try to make us go insane
so then most times not
they will tie your tongue in a knot

to prevent you from speaking
all those useless words
that will only rip apart someone one else
someone else's chords

to a song they love
and they showed it to you
with love and care
directing it towards you

you felt so special
it made you glow
so if you were with someone else
And they just so happen to send a note

you'd respond as soon as you could
because you loved them so much
that you just couldn't hold
and bottle up what you wanted to tell them,
so very much

but then suddenly
the weather got bad
inside your head
were thunderclouds above

you couldn't think straight
or drive to work
or read at night
or think of a word

your plans became crammed
and you were slipping away
and along with you slipping away
that friend was just trying to wave

but you couldn't wave back
you were drowning now
in the things you have planned
months ago for now

you try so hard, and they do as well
but sometimes when you try too hard
you get a dry spell

things will sometime clear up
the skies will be bright
and those friends will be together
and they won't need to fight
