Kids in America, you must certainly understand the struggle of AP classes. Because guess what? Those tests are coming for me. (Those unfamiliar with AP exams, it's scored from 1 to 5, with 5 being a near perfect score or that you performed better than the rest of the nation)
On Wednesday I take AP Literature. I'm really nervous about it as my multiple choice scores have not been so great, but my essays are pulling me up. Just as long as I stay levelheaded, I should at least score a 3 on it.
Thursday I have a state exam over the history of the US. It's easy as it's only multiple choice, but they give us four hours to do nearly sixty questions. What a bore. I'll probably bring a Pokémon card to draw or something to entertain myself.
Friday I take APUSH. Surprisingly, despite history being my most hated core subject, it's the AP exam that I'm most proud of. From other mocks, I've ranged in a 4. As long as I get enough points on the essays, I might be able to get a 5. Might. But I have to thank blue___22 as the advice she's given me has been paying off. Oh yeah, you better get a 5 on yours! :D
Next week is a stretch. Not counting that I plan on a stay-cation from school on my birthday while people take the AP Language exam, I have at least one test to take.
Next Thursday I have a state exam over English. It's not too hard, compared to everything else, but I should also bring some entertainment in the case of finishing early. Maybe another Pokémon card to draw on the exam...
But I might be taking AP Calculus AB. Might. Why, you may ask? It's not that I dropped out. No Blue, I'm still in the game. And actually I've grown to love finding derivatives and volume.
But the issue is that my Calculus teacher was fired two weeks ago. That was shit. So now the vice principal took over the class, and I have no shame to say that she has no clue on what she's teaching. She doesn't even know how to do chain rule... ;~;
But she ordered the test. And told us that she ordered twenty. And there's thirty-three of us in the class. So yeah... Given that the test is next Tuesday, you'd think we'd know by now who's testing, right?
Wrong.
So yeah I doubt she'll let me take it. Apparently she didn't like that in a recent mock I got 18/54 possible points on the FRQ. I know it seems low, but she timed me 30 minutes to do all six questions. So I did okay and she told me that I wasn't trying hard enough.
Well if I'm not taking it, oh well. All those times I went to tutorials were to go to waste anyway... But I do wish you luck, Blue.
On a lighter note, to anyone else taking a AP exam in the next two weeks, just know that this is a challenge that you're strong enough to conquer. You took the class, so now it's your job to ensure (colleges at least) that you have been putting the effort to be successful in life. AP classes aren't easy, but I applaud anyone taking tests.
With that, it's actually the reason of my absence. I've been studying with some classmates over all the AP exams I have to take. Well I find time for Fire Emblem Heroes, but I should find more time for Wattpad now.
Realistically speaking, my birthday will mark my official return. Along with another chapter of Pokémon: Revalorozation. So yeah, I might drop by here and there if I'm not brain dead in the next week or so.
But to PokemonWritingLeague, I'll still be able to judge for the entries. I have a duty to do there, so do not fret. I'll have them before the infamous Cinco de Mayo. (Like I know that day is meant to honor my country of origin and all but am I the only one who sees the day as an excuse to eat Mexican food?)
Anyway... Have a good day Wattpaders!
But not before a grumpy cat meme comes in the way ;)
