Lance x Reader

"...and this is for you (Y/N)." Lance said as he held a box wrapped in wrapping paper decorated with colourful geometrical shapes. You blinked once. And then again, before you took the gift into your own hands. After he had come back from his adventure to an exotic place, you had seen him running around with souvenirs, and got a little jealous thinking that he had not got you one. So you continued on with your life while forming a plan on how to get revenge. However, that well thought out plan was no longer needed as the present was chucked into your face, while Lance beamed. Turning to your left, you saw your room and made your way towards it. "Thanks... I guess..." Just as you were about to take another step, you heard Lance whine. "But I wanted you to open it in front of me..."

This made you look back while having a deadpan expression. "And for what reason may I know?" You asked as you turned your whole body towards Lance and crossed your arms over your chest. Grinning, Lance said, "To see your reaction of course." This made you flinch as your felt heat creep up your face. "F-fine... I will." You said as you looked down at the nicely wrapped box. What you didn't notice was that Lance had a smirk on his face, and the hallway was totally empty. The moment the wrapping was taken off, what was left was a brown, opaque, elongated box. Looking up, you saw Lance grinning from ear to ear as you held the box with care. "What are you waiting for? Open it!" If possible, his smile grew even wider, to the point even your cheeks hurt just looking at his wide smile.

Looking back to the box, you carefully lifted the lid to reveal a gold locket, with flowers carved into the locket. Inhaling sharply, you stared at the locket. Soon the locket was lifted from the box, brought out of your view, and soon rested just above your stomach. Looking back, you saw Lance as he grinned and motioned for you to open the locket. Taking the locket into your hands, you popped the lid open to reveal two pictures. The first was one where Lance had his arm around your shoulders, and smiling while you were blushing and looking to the side. At that point in time, you were new to the church and was not that comfortable yet, thus the embarrassment.

The second was just of Lance as he took a picture of himself and the scenery, of which you can only guess was the view during one of his adventures. You smiled at the sight, and felt Lance grabbing your hand. Looking back up at Lance, you grinned and thanked him while closing the locket back and leaving the locket to hang around your neck. Pulling you to him, he embraced you for the briefest of time before pulling away saying, "Just a little something to remember me by when I am not near." And just like that you broke out into a full blush as he chuckled at your reaction. You were about ready to retreat to your own room to avoid anymore embarrassment, when Lance pulled you towards him one more time.

Closing your eyes, you expected to be embraced once more, but was utterly shocked when you felt Lance's lips on your cheek. If possible, you blushed harder before covering your face with your hands. Hearing Lance chuckle, you turned, determined to reach your room. However it was stopped by Lance carrying you. "W-what is he meaning of this?" You asked flustered about what the bishop was doing. He grinned once more and said, "To bring you on all my adventures." You smiled at him, with your ever glowing blush, and said,

"Crazy Bishop."
