       Ashton spent the night before thinking about his meet with Newt and Maverick. He barely answers Ezra's texts and messages on Facebook now, he just can't. Maybe he didn't stop loving him, maybe the person had a reason to do that and Ashton would like to help her/him. Even if he lied and hurt Ashton.

        The next day they met up at Ashton's work. Calum couldn't be there because he had a date with Autumn and didn't want to ruin this time. When the curly haired boy heard the bell ring he looked and saw Newt and Maverick with a laptop and the crew, they were talking and smiled at Ashton motioning for him to meet them when he could.

''Becky?'' Ashton calls the waitress, who turned around and smiled ''I'm going to take my 30 minute break now.''

''Okay kid, good luck with your online romance.'' she smiles and Ashton chuckles.

''Thanks.'' with that he left and looked for the boys, walking to them when he spotted Maverick's dark hair. ''Hi guys!''

''Hey Ashton!'' they both cheered.

''Can I get you something?''

''Uh pancakes and uhm orange juice please? I didn't eat breakfast this morning...'' Newt said awkwardly.

''Just a milkshake please.''

        Ashton nodded and got their food. He was feeling extremily nervous, what if's were corrupting his head and he felt so weak in that moment. He walked to the boys and placed their food in the table, sitting right after. He took a deep breath and Newt started making up phrases to tell Ashton. It wasn't the best part of the job, telling people the apparently love of their life was fake and everything they talked about was just for fun and all those plans were a lie. They made up some couples though, and they really hoped maybe Ashton would still like this Luke Hemmings guy.

''So, we searched some things...'' Newt said calmly, and Ashton nodded ''And all of that led us to Luke. Do you remember him?''

''I remember Ezra talking about him in certain occasions, but i actually never saw a picture of him.'' Ashton replied and Newt nodded, turning the computer to him. The laptop showed the phone number with the ID and Luke's name.

''We think two things... You might be talking to Luke or Michael.''

''Yeah, we saw Luke's facebook pictures and Michael seems pretty close to him. We are going to contact Michael now.'' Maverick said and Ashton sat in the middle of them so he could see too.

        Newt searched Michael's facebook on Luke's friends and messaged him ''Hi Michael! I'm Newt Padmore from Catfish: The TV show on MTV. I don't know if you have ever seen it. We are currently helping Ashton with Ezra's situation and it would help if you gave us some informations about him.

Hope you're okay,

        Three minutes later a beep was heard from Ashton's phone. He wrote his password and saw it was a message from the boy he has been ignoring for the past few days. He sighs ''It's him.'' they look at Ashton with a look of pity, and Newt rubs his back when he realised Ashton was close to tears ''I don't know if I can see it.'' he says with a weak voice and a broken heart.

''It might be important, are you sure?'' Maverick said and Ashton shook his head, opening the message app.

Ezra: I don't know why you're ignoring me or what have I done. Hope you're alright Ashy, I love you :) ❤❤

        Ashton sighed and closed the app, wiping tears from his face. He was hurt, felt like a hole was in his chest and someone stepped on his soul.

        A few seconds later Michael answered their message. Newt clicked and Ashton closed his eyes before reading it.
