a ferrous throne of obsidian bone, he awaits by the river of sanguine to flow in another soul. he swells the underworld with apathy's rust, feeds the mind pomegranate and pride. he alone is death and almighty, and death is unavoidable.

  they say that she was captured by hades, but who is to say that it was not her, a goddess, wild as the flowers woven in her hair, who captured the deathly king herself.
