Chapter 47

(TWO CHAPTERS IN ONE BECAUSE YOU ALL FUCKING DESERVE IT!!

BUCKLE UP BUTTERCUPS, BECAUSE YOU ARE IN FOR A WIIIIILD RIDE!!)

"Give it up, Shigaraki. You're surrounded with no way to escape," Eraser Head had told him, binding him with his capture scarf. His eyes glowed red, his quirk doing its job as he glared down at him. Other pro heroes had come to aid him, helping him take down the few villains that now lay on the ground. The only one that managed to escape was Dabi, but they soon found out that he was being handled by the Todoroki's.

Anger bubbled up inside Shigaraki, teeth grinding as he glared at he raven-haired male. Where was All for One when he needed him?! He had promised him that when things got tight, he would get him out of it. So, where was he?!

"When All for One comes for us, you will all be dead meat," Toga grumbled from beside him, being in the same predicament as he was. "Just you wait."

"Hisashi will not be coming to your rescue," All Might commented, stepping through some heroes to reach them. The villains tensed at the sound of their master's actual name, Shigaraki turning his glare toward Toshinori and sneering.

"That's what you fucking think," Shigaraki spat out, recovering from his initial shock.

"That's what I fucking know, actually," All Might snorted, taking some heroes by surprise, even Aizawa. "I just received word from Present Mic that he's quite busy with Bakugo and Midoriya, he couldn't care less about any of you at this moment."

"So what if he's with those two? All he has to do is tell Kurogiri to come get us," Toga remarked, getting fed up.

"Then where are the warp gates?" All Might pondered, giving them a pointed look. "You have been confined for over 10 minutes and he hasn't even lifted a finger to get you guys out of trouble. Listen, that man cares for no one but himself. I know that you two are aware of that. Stop lying to yourselves."

His words caused Shigaraki to snarl at him, trashing against the rough fabric that held him captive as he somehow managed to sit upright. All Might stood in front of him, hands inside his pockets as he watched the young male struggle against his binds. It infuriated Shigaraki, feeling so powerless. So...betrayed.

"You talk about your students being in danger so casually, yet where are you? Looking down on me, on us, instead of going to their aid. How does that make you much better than him?" He felt the scarf tighten momentarily around him. A warning.

But Toshinori only offered him a smile, making him tense and narrow his eyes. The skeleton-like male crouched to be eye-level with him, a determined glint in his eyes. "I trust that my students are capable of handling themselves against your master. If you know those two like I know them, then you must know that they can't be easily defeated. Even more so when they are together."

Shigaraki couldn't help the spark of envy that flashed within him, willing him to gnaw on his bottom lip in frustration. "So what? Just because you put your faith on them doesn't mean that they're going to win."

"The last time All for One fought one on one with Young Midoriya, his only option was to flee. So I'm confident that those two will do what they have to do," All Might chuckled, looking over to the side where someone made their appearance.

"It seems that they have calmed down. You can let them go, Eraser Head. Rest your eyes for a bit. I trust they won't cause harm," Nezu assured, stepping in front of Toga and helping her to a sitting position.

"But Nezu"

"I know what I'm doing," Nezu said, immediately silencing Aizawa. The rest watched wordlessly as the raven-haired male reluctantly set the villains free. As the last but if restraint fell off the villains' body, every hero surrounding the area became on edge. It was as if a layer of eerie silence fell upon them, every single pair of eyes drifting from Nezu to the few members of the League. Just what in the hell was that mouse like being thinking?!

Shigaraki and the others themselves were also quite taken aback by Nezu's actions. No one in their right mind would let them go just because they're "calm enough." There must be some kind of catch.

"How are you so certain that we won't attack?" Toga questioned, her tone laced with undying suspicion. Everyone had that very same question, bodies tense and sweat rolling down their temples in anticipation. A slight movement from Shigaraki's hand could cause an uproar in milliseconds.

"You have made one grave mistake, Mr. Principal," Shigaraki smirked, palms itching to reach the ground and bring an end to everyone in their way.

"I don't think I have," Nezu said confidently, a small, amused smile tugging at the corner of his lips. His words caused Shigaraki to freeze and glare down at the creature, stunned by the slight cockiness behind his tone. "I know your next movements before you can even think about them."

"Now that's a bunch of bullshit right there," Toga cackled, stretching her limbs as she licked her lips. "I've never fancied animal blood, but I'm quite curious as to how yours tastes."

"Settle down, kid. I'm not here to fight you, but to propose a deal," Nezu spoke up, taking a sip out of a teacup that magically appeared out of thin air. Where the fuck did it came from?!?!?!

"What kind of deal would you possibly want to propose that would even interest us?" Shigaraki said flatly, rolling his eyes in the progress. Despite his words, he couldn't deny the fact that he was mildly intrigued. Something told him that this mouse meant business.

"The kind of deal that benefits everyone here, including you, the League of Villains."

That sentence alone had everyone turning their heads at Nezu in surprise. Most pro heroes wanted to protest, exclaim their intense denial to whatever crazy idea he may have. But one single glare of Aizawa had them all swallowing back whatever words where about to fall out of their mouths. If there was one thing the raven-haired male has learned throughout the years at teaching at the U.A. Academy, it was to not underestimate the principals ability to make a throughout, trustworthy, plan.

Shigaraki thought for a moment, analyzing Nezu's every move and slight expression. The way he stood in front of him, calm and drinking tea without a care in the world somehow infuriated him. Did he not find him threatening at all? Shigaraki could pulverize him with a single graze of his fingers.

Even so, what Nezu said did pique his interest, making him swallow back his ever growing irritation as he raised an eyebrow. "Speak."

With a satisfied hum, Nezu complied, speaking after drinking the last bit of tea. "Let's form an alliance."

An uproar finally broke free among the heroes, exclaims of astonishment and disagreement creating a jumbled mess of words. This time, All Might was the one to speak up, turning his attentions to the complaining heroes.

"Before a fight breaks out, listen to what Nezu has to say. It seems that those who are doubtful have forgotten just who exactly Nezu is. So, I suggest everyone settles down and behave like the heroes you are."

The sudden hostile tone Toshinori used had the others tensing up. If one looked closely, despite the kind smile the retired hero wore, a vein was popping out of his forehead and a dangerous gleam shimmered behind his gaze. They have wasted enough time as it is, they had to move fast.

"I would need you to elaborate," Shigaraki then spoke, rolling his eyes.

"The both of us have the same goal in mind. That is to bring an end to All for One. Prive him off all the power he wields against everyone and put finality to his actions. I'm sure you had time to reflect on your loyalty towards the man who has left you to the wolves while you were held captive."

Shigaraki gritted his teeth, Toga glancing at him sideways as he pondered. He couldn't deny that the betrayal of the one he thought to be a father figure weighed him down like a brick wall. The only thing he had asked for was for him to aid him if things got far too difficult. Something so simple that the man had carelessly promised without ever intending on following through. Shigaraki had followed him like a lost puppy, sacrificed his life in exchange of those empty promises.

He had thought that the man cared for him. He had fallen deep into his own little stupid fantasy of Hisashi putting his hideous obsession aside for him. Was he really that worthless to him?

Yet, despite everything, Shigaraki knew deep down that it was all an illusion. He was nothing more than another chess piece in Hisashi's horrid game. A stupid little pawn to be used however he wished, using him as a barrier to protect himself. He knew that it was time to put a stop to it. To show him that even his own chess pieces could give him a checkmate.

So, with a newfound sense of rage and determination, Shigaraki swallowed whatever pride he had at the moment and gazed up at Nezu. Toga seemed to sense his change in attitude, taking a deep breath as Shigaraki stood up. Everyone around began shouting, but their protests fell on deaf ears.

"So, what's the plan?"

"Eri!" Izuku shouted, the little girl's frail body limp on his arms. Panic flooded his system, trying to get the small girl to react, but she was completely unconscious. Explosions detonated not far from him, Katsuki fighting off villains while trying to get Eri to safety. Her energy had been completely drained after using her quirk on Katsuki, her system suddenly shutting down by the overexersion.

A misty hand then shot forward, catching both teenagers by surprise since Danger Sense hadn't flared up. The familiar purple-y fog making them look up to Kurogiri, who then motioned for the two to hand over the girl. "Worry not, I am not here to harm. I'm here under your principal's orders. There is no time for explanations, so I will have to ask you to trust me with the girl. I will bring her to safety."

Hesitation flashed across Izuku's eyes, but something in Kurogiri's tone beckoned him to slowly hand Eri over. Katsuki wanted to protest, but he reminded himself that it was Kurogiri who basically saved his life by bringing Eri with the others. He still didn't know what the fuck was really going on, but he had no other option that to temporarily trust the League of Villains.

Sensing the boys' distress, Kurogiri simply gave them a small nod as if to reassure them before retreating into the vast air with the little girl.

"Kurogiri! You fucking traitor!" Hisashi then exclaimed, having sensed Kurogiri's distorted presence while being cautious of Shigaraki. The urge to break his neck along everyone else's became unbearable, blood pressure reaching dangerous leves as his murderous aura spread around the atmosphere. "You too, Shigaraki! What the fuck do you think you're doing?! You owe your fucking life to me!!"

This earned Hisashi a punch on the face, making the man stumble as his senses became even more distorted. It wasn't until the hand around his throat was forced away that he could finally breathe in the slightest. His lungs were on fire and his throat had a coppery taste every time he swallowed, but even so he didn't waste a second before firing his air cannon. It made Shigaraki jump out of the way, barely missing the attack.

A group of the most powerful villains then took action and surrounded Hisashi's body, who coughed up blood as he regained balance. Watching these stupid loyal dogs protect their owner pissed Shigaraki off, making him snarl and glare at them all.

"You're all so fucking easy to tame! I guess I can't blame you," he spat, scratching at the dry skin of his neck. "It's going to be fun killing each and every one of you."

"We're not allowed to kill!" Came Iida's annoying reminder, the robot-replica himself suddenly appearing next to him. Toga, in turn, rolled her eyes, gazing at the boy.

"Maybe you aren't allowed to kill, but we are not heroes."

The statement made Iida's words get stuck in his throat. For a moment, he had forgotten who they really were. Just because they were helping them in defeating All for One didn't mean that they suddenly chose to be in the path of redemption. They had their own gain, he reminded himself. The League of Villains weren't their friends. Only allies for a short amount of time, for the sake of everyone, even them.

"Bubaigawara!" Shigaraki shouted into the air, receiving a shout of affirmation from the dual-personality man. Without being given a direct command, Twice knew what he had to do. Toga followed after him, twisting her blades professionally with her fingers.

"Oi, Deku!" Shigaraki called, gaining the attention of the greenette who was panting. The male walked in his direction, a glare set on his face as he then stood directly in front of Izuku. The greenette, wary of his actions, stood straight, looking up at him as he knew he was going to say something probably important.

"You better not fucking touch him, " Katsuki growled, fighting two villains in the background. If Shigaraki heard him, then he certainly didn't show it.

Placing a finger underneath Izuku's chin, he fiercely lifted the greenette's head to make him look directly into his eyes. Izuku was taken aback, but Shigaraki's gaze kept him grounded, specially when Danger Sense didn't go off. "All Might explained to us the secret behind that quirk of yours that All for One so desperately wants."

An powerful explosion detonated a few meters behind him, but the two kept their focus on each other. "You crusty-ass motherfucker!"

"He also explained to us why it has to be you who takes him down, and as much as I want that pleasure for myself, I agree with what he said. If not then I would've pulverized him the moment I arrived."

"Hands off! Oh just you wait till I'm done with this irritating fuck!"

"And trust me, defeating him is not only for the sake of your stupid world. It is also for your sanity. So you better have got your shit together because once the time comes, not even your precious boyfriend can save you."

"Shigaraki!!"

"Hisashi's all yours, Midoriya. You better finish this for once and for all," and with that, Shigaraki left to fight some fugitives before Katsuki could get to him. The blond was fuming, glaring in Shigaraki's direction with a glare that could burn down an entire city. Shaking out of his daze, Izuku looked at Katsuki, finding his expression amusing and incredibly adorable.

"Kacchan, I don't think this is a good time to be jealous," the greenette chuckled, earning an incredulous look from Katsuki.

"THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN, I'M NOT FUCKING JEALOUS!"

"Kids, as annoyingly adorable your lover's quarrel is, I think you both have bigger problems," a man said, making both teens turn their heads to look at Stain, holding a bloodied blade in his hands and smirking at them. Katsuki immediately went into defense mode, standing in front of Izuku as he glared at the man.

"Come any closer and I will incinerate you," Katsuki warned, making the male cackle.

"Relax, blasty boy. I'm not here to fight against you. Did you really think I would steer so low as to follow All for One's orders? Never in a lifetime," Stain snorted. "You see, if it weren't for your boyfriend, I would've killed you already."

"What?" Izuku asked, perplexed by the man's words. It seemed to be true that he didn't mean any harm at the moment, his stance was relaxed and he didn't trigger Danger Sense in any way.

"You are going to be the one to start a new era. Rid all those who call themselves heroes for their own benefits and desires. Now that All Might has been forced out of his throne, I'm here to help you ascend to it. I am seen as a villain, but I am certainly not like All for One or the League."

"I don't think I see your point in this idle chat," Katsuki growled out, body tensing up as Stain simply smirked.

"There are many hindrances in your way, so I'll make sure to help get rid of them. Including you, Bakugo. You may now both have the same power coursing through your veins, but you are nowhere near Deku's level. So, if you really want him to survive. Stay out of his way."

Meanwhile, in the background, a strong presence sent chills down the sniper's spine. She kept her gaze locked on her target, body tensing up as the person behind her tsked.

"You sure have some nerve, Lady Nagant," the woman scoffed, another presence leaning down to her ear level.

"It seems that you need some beauty rest. But, be careful, because one single twitch of your fingers could turn out very bad for you."
Lady Nagant knew she had been placed in a tight spot, so, despite the circumstances, she immediately pulled the trigger. A sweet aroma filled her senses and she had been knocked out cold before she could see if her shot had been successful or not.

Danger Sense went off in Katsuki's head, the blond jumping off to the side as a bullet barely grazed his temple. Izuku called out his name, quickly rushing to his side as he frantically looked into the distance, noticing now two silhouettes holding a body. One of the silhouettes seemed to have...bunny ears??

"Danger Sense comes in really fucking handy, what in the fuck?" Katsuki said after grazing his wound, grimacing only a little. A shout from afar caught their attention, their heads turning to the sight of Hisashi angrily holding a man's face with ferocity lining his features.

"THE THINGS YOU ALL MAKE ME DO!" Hisashi belowed, red sparks lighting up around his body as he stole the quirk, the man screaming so loud it almost made those around him sympathize. Almost. "I wonder just how in the actual fuck you got yourself locked up into Tartarus, but this better be worth my goddamn energy."

"Let him go!!" Izuku shouted, wasting no time in sprinting at an incredible speed towards Hisashi. True to his word, Stain made sure that the path was cleared as the greenette sped by, sparks flying around him.

The intensity of his presence made a few villains stumble back, eyes widening as Izuku lifted his leg in a graceful manner. But who would've thought that a simple move could knock people back, the swing of his leg as it then connected with Hisashi's arm creating a gust of wind so powerful that it almost cleared the perimeter around him. Unfortunately, he was just a second too late, as the process for the quirk stealing was completed.

All for One now possessed a new quirk.

"You're too late!" Hisashi cackled, taking the blow and wheezing out, his victorious smirk not faltering. "I should've gotten this quirk long ago!"

To say that Izuku was beyond frustrated was an understatement. But he focused on that frustration and turned it into energy, taking a deep breath to somehow calm down and not let his emotions take over. It was a very difficult task, but he managed to get it done. Now, with his mind clearer, his looked at Hisashi with a determined gaze.

"I don't know what fucking quirk you got your hands on, but I know one thing is for certain. It won't fucking save you. Nothing will!"

"Bring it on!!"

Given the fact that now Hisashi somehow regained his hearing and his stance seemed sturdier, Izuku concluded that the quirk he had stolen was associated with regeneration. His theory had been proven correct when the male ripped off the very few bits of his ventilator and took a deep breath.

"These lungs may not be in their prime shape, but I sure as hell won't be needing that shitty ventilator anymore!"

"We'll see about that!"

Izuku went up in mid-air, shooting blackwhip out of his fingertips and entangling them around Hisashi's arms. The male wrapped his hands around them, tugging at them and bringing Izuku down at full speed, which only worked to the greenette's advantage. Using the momentum, Izuku muttered under his breath, "One for All, 45% Full Cowling."

Sparks flew around his body as he concentrated his power on his legs, doing a flip and bringing his leg down on Hisashi's head, to which Hisashi blocked a little bit too late as a small cracking sound could be heard. "You son of a bitch!"

"It's adorable how you admit to being a whiny little bitch," the greenette scoffed, retracting blackwhip and sending a punch to his temple. Hisashi sent him flying backwards, his air cannons blowing him away and creating space between them. His signature black and red tendrils shot out of his body as they went to pierce Izuku, but thanks to Danger Sense, he could dodge them all.

Katsuki watched helplessly from the backlines, noticing how most of the Tartarus fugitives have been taken down and the few that remained tried to make a run for it. Capturing them was quite easy, so he wasn't at all worried about those mutts. All he had to do now was watch and wait as much as he didn't want to. The paranoia and anxiety were going haywire inside him, but he trusted Izuku. He had to.

A small yelp left Izuku's mouth as Hisashi managed to land a successful kick to his injured leg. If it weren't for the adrenaline and the rushed tourniquet Katsuki did earlier, he wouldn't have been able to even stand. That didn't mean that it didn't hurt.

With a flick of his finger, Izuku powered up One for All to a 60% creating a gust of wind to knock Hisashi back a few feet. As he then continued to fight, an idea came to mind. He knew what he had to do in order to defeat All for One at last. He just had to see how fast Hisashi could regenerate now.

He lashed out blackwhip and aimed it at Hisashi once more, only this time he directed it to his legs. The tendrils wrapped around them and lifted him up into the air, tossing him to the sky. Izuku then jumped at incredible speed, powering up Fa-Jin in one of his fists to then connect it with Hisashi's body as it began falling down. The action made blood spew out of Hisashi's mouth, his body being sent even higher into the sky. But Izuku did not stop. He had the bigger advantage thanks to Float, but he wasn't going to simply rely on it.

"One for All, 80%" another idea popped into his head. "Transmission."

He could faintly hear the second user's voice, warning him. Alerting him.

Hisashi was starting to recover from his initial shock, the regeneration quirk beginning its job. He prepared an attack mid-air, his body starting to flail down once more as he tried to make sense as to where Izuku was. He could feel how his broken bones snapped back into place, although a little too slow for his liking. It wasn't until he picked up on a presence behind him that he realized where the greenette was.

"Low Gear," Izuku then suddenly went below him, punching him right in the pit of the stomach that forced him even higher into the air. A pained scream left Hisashi's mouth, his ears clogging the higher he went. He gritted his teeth, now regretting having given the Air Walk quirk to that stupid sniper who couldn't even put a bullet through Katsuki's head like she was supposed to.

"Second Gear."

Another punch, somehow much more powerful and faster, making Hisashi cough out some more blood. The way his intestines were squashed under Izuku's fist for a moment made him believe that they would straight up come out of his mouth. His screams now came raspy, the greenette not giving him a chance to even breath.

"Third Gear."

A kick, this time. The muscles on Izuku's arms felt like they were being ripped open. He has yet not trained his body to withstand such immense power, but he would not let that stop him. Not until he stops him!

The onlookers on the ground all had their mouths hanging open wide, including Katsuki who was now reunited with Present Mic, Aoyama, and Iida. Izuku was so high up in the air that to them, he and Hisashi looked like fucking ants. Hell, they even believed that if a plane were to pass by they could be hit by it. How was it humanly possible to even get up there?!

But to their increasing shock, they noticed something in the air around them as Izuku moved flawlessly. It wasn't until Present Mic spoke with his raspy voice that they knew what it was. "H-He b-broke the s-sound barrier!!"

The moment he reached his final gear, his entire body felt on fire. His skin so hot that he was almost certain that it was melting and blending with the muscle tissues underneath. His eyes were unbearably dry, tears rolling down as they failed to moisten them. His lips were getting chapped, one single tug on the skin causing breakage. Yet, not even that would hold back the determined smirk as he whispered, "Final Gear."

His body then seemingly vanished into thin air, only to then appear milliseconds after atop Hisashi's body. All for One's body was overly abused. Sprained extremities, visual hemorrhages, even some bones threatened to poke through his skin. At that point, it was nearly impossible for his regeneration quirk to even try to fix him. He was brutally broken in many ways.

Not like Izuku cared, though.

"One for All. 100%"

His significant green aura was so intense that it almost blinded those watching. The entirety of his eyes turned white, and even though it wasn't the first time, this time felt completely different. It made the onlookers subconsciously kneel on the ground, mouths still agape as they witnessed the moment Izuku's leg touched Hisashi's body. It truly felt like they were watching a deity in skin and bone, Izuku's presence alone being able to bring shivers down everyone's spine.

One second.

One second was all it took for Hisashi to reach the ground from probably over 31,000 feet. Everyone could see the way the sound barrier broke once more, but only when they were knocked out their feet by the sudden, intense earthquake, did they even know that the body had landed. People gasped, some regaining footing after the ground finally stopped trembling. Izuku then descended from the sky, giving everyone else even more proof that he was an undercover deity coming from the heavens.

The moment the greenette's feet touched the ground, his body stumbled forward, barely being able to support his weight. His clothes barely hung to his skin, the most intact part being the fabric of his pants covering up from the middle of his thighs to the deep V that barely left anything to the imagination.

Hisashi's body has been lodged deep into the ground, the form of his misshapen body being imprinted as he lay more that six feet below. A crowd had already formed around them, respectfully keeping a distance of over twenty feet in case All for One somehow managed to crawl out of the hell he was currently in. They watched as Izuku with his undying determination stumbled over to the self-made grave. Then be stopped right in front of it.

What people didn't expect was for him to shoot sharp, dark tendrils out of his fingertips and stab them through Hisashi's body, grabbing the unconscious man and lifting him out. The sight was too gruesome to most people, making them turn away and cover their eyes in astonishment.

Then moment Izuku calmly pressed two fingers to the side of Hisashi's neck, Katsuki ran over. He knew him. He deeply believed he knew his boyfriend. And he was extremely certain he knew what Izuku Midoriya was thinking.

"How are you not dead?" Izuku grumbled out, feeling a faint, extremely slow heartbeat. It beckoned him to slash the tendrils out of All for One's body, now directing them at his neck the moment the body tumbled lifelessly in front of him. If it weren't for some similar dark tendrils shooting forward and holding his arm back, he would've decapitated the motherfucker in an instant. "Why, Katsuki?"

"You don't want to kill him," Katsuki whispered, tears welling up in his eyes as Izuku's body began to tremble.

"After everything he's done?!?!"

"Trust me, Izuku. You do not want to become like him," Katsuki then slowly retracted his blackwhip, keeping some few feet of distance between them while the greenette took a deep breath.

Commotion could be heard in the background. The voice of Shigaraki calling out to someone coming out indistinctive to the both of them. Then, a pair of footsteps ran over to them, catching Katsuki's attention who choked back a gasp from the shock. It wasn't until familiar arms gently wrapped around Izuku's body, that the person spoke.

"Your fight has come to an end, for once and for all. You have won, my child. Now, it is time for you to rest."

The sweet voice caused Izuku's body to finally tumble down, disbelief grazing his features as he weakly turned to look at the woman he thought was dead. She caught him gracefully, his eyesight became blurry, only being able to see the shade of green he longed for what felt like an eternity. Only then did he succumb to the darkness he used to fear all those several months ago.

The battle was finally over.
