MONDAY AT SCHOOL

Lucy P.O.V

I was skipping all the way to homeroom. I was so energetic today. Then I saw Levy walk by me looking all depressed.

She looked at me with dead eyes and with a monotone voice she said, "Lucy...How can you be so active today? It's a freak'n Monday."

"Huh? I don't know, I feel like I'm walking on air. I feel so happy!" I said while skipping around her.

We were walking down the hall when Natsu came by. His face flushed a shade of red as he smiled. That great smile that he did made my heart flutter. Then I saw Levy looking at him and back to me.

"Hmm...Did something happen between you guys? Come on, spill the beans~" She said while elbowing my arm.

"What are you talking about?"

"Hh huh. I see, you don't have to tell me." she then ran up forward and giggled. "I ship it~"

"She's ridiculous...," I whispered to myself with a blush.

"Hey, are you Lucy?"

I looked behind me and I saw the same group of girls that were standing by my desk the other day.

"Yeah..."

The one with the Blue hair came up to me and spike with an attitude, "Meet us on the roof during lunch. We have something to discuss with you."

She looked at me with an angry expression. I saw her glaring at my red ribbons that I got from Natsu. I quickly covered them with a panic.

"I'll meet you during lunch..."

***Lunch time

I went up to the roof as they told me and saw them already there. I opened the door and closed it behind me.

"I'm here. What do you need to discuss with me?"

The one with the blue hair snapped her fingers. Then the one with the black hair came from behind and grabbed one of my arms, and the one with the pink hair grabbed my other arm.

"Hey! What are you guys doing?!" I yelled while trying to break free.

"We're getting Revenge for Gray-sama! How dare you go out with him and leave him the same day?! Gray-sama is a treasured jewel; he takes pity on all and cares for us all the same. He's very kind and gentle, yet you went and broke his heart! He even has a bruise on his face because of you!"

What are they talking about?! Gray is the opposite of everything she said. He's a lying hypocrite! Also, what's she talking about a bruise? I'm a lover not a fighter. I wouldn't hit him, even if I wanted to!

"We'll show you what happens when you mess with Gray-Sama's heart!"

They let go of me and started to yank my hair. The one with the blue hair began to kick me. She kicked me so hard I feel to the ground and scraped my knee.

The one with the black hair stomped on me with a great smile on her face.

The one with the pink hair grabbed my ribbons and yanked them off.

My eyes widened and I yelled at the top of my lungs. "Stop!!! You can do anything to me. Just give me back my ribbons!"

Then the girl with the blue hair smiled sinisterly. "Are these precious to you?"

I cried while nodding my head.

"Meredy, Give me the ribbons."

The girl with the pink hair, named Meredy, gave my ribbons to the blue haired girl.

She then whispered something in her ear and she smiled. She then passed down the message to the other one.

Then they picked me up from the floor and Meredy and the other girl held me up while the one with the blue hair held my ribbons.

"Lucy, on a scale from 1-10, how important are these ribbons to you?"

"10!" I yelled with tears in my eyes.

"Do you know how important Gray-Sama is to us?"

I shook my head.

"10!" She yelled while yanking my ribbons.

"Please stop! You'll break them!!!"

She yanked on them until they started to tear.

My eyes widened and I began to cry even harder, "Stop!!!"

The next thing I knew, I saw pieces of red thread flying in the wind. As the wind carried them away, I couldn't do anything but watch as my ribbons disappeared. The precious ribbons I loved so much were gone in a blink of an eye.

My hands and knees were scraped. I was bleeding on my legs. I had cuts and scratches on my face. I was a mess.

Then the one with the blue hair came up to me and lifted my chin. "Next time, stay away from Gray-Sama."

She snapped her fingers and left.

I looked down to the floor and saw a piece of the broken ribbon. I quickly crawled to grab it before it flew away. I held it in my hand and placed it close to my heart.

"I'm sorry, Natsu..."

Natsu P.O.V

Huh? That's weird. I haven't seen Lucy since Lunch. Where is she?

I went into history and I didn't see Lucy. I started to worry.

She never goes home early. Where is she?

I walked over to Levy and asked, "Levy, do you know where Lucy is?"

"Huh? I thought she was with you."

I then looked around the class room and I didn't see her. "Levy, tell the teacher I'm in the nurse's office."

"Wait Natsu. I don't-"

"Thanks Levy."

I quickly left to find Lucy.

I went everywhere. I ran over to the gym and looked everywhere. "Lucy!" I yelled from the top of my lungs. When I didn't hear a response, I quickly moved on.

I ran to the library and searched everywhere. "Lucy!"

I then ran to janitor's closet. "Lucy!"

I looked everywhere. Then it struck me. I haven't checked the roof yet.

I ran to the roof and I saw Lucy there on the floor, crying and hurt. I quickly ran to her. "Lucy-"

Why's she all banged up!

Her head was held down and her hair was messy and loose.

"Natsu..."

She opened her hand, and I saw a piece of the red ribbon I got her. She then closed it and put it to her eyes.

"I'm sorry! I-I couldn't...do anything to stop them...!"

I quickly picked her up bridal style without a thought.

"Natsu...?"

I then took her to the nurse's office.

"Natsu, that stings!" Lucy yelled in pain. I was disinfecting her wounds and bandaging them up.

I then patted her hand and said, "There, you're all good."

She shook her head. "No, I have to get the ribbon pieces back." She then tried to get up, but she fell on her knees.

"Lucy, just stop. It's okay. It's just a ribbon."

"Just a ribbon? It's not just a ribbon. It's the ribbon that you gave to me!" She yelled while crying.

"Are you an idiot?! Do you not see the condition you're in?! Why is the ribbon all you care about?!"

"It's because I don't care if I get hurt! I've never received a present from anyone that wasn't my parents before, and that's why the ribbons are so precious to me!"

She was crying and I couldn't do anything to stop her. I sighed as I scratched the back of my head. "Are the ribbons really that important to you?"

"Yes!"

I reached into my pocket and took out the blue ones I got for free.

I was saving this for Lisanna...

As she tried to crawl away, I keeled down and yanked her hair from behind.

"Ouch! NATSU STOP! I already got my hair pulled from them. I don't want you to pull it too!" She yelled while holding her head.

I grabbed her hair and placed it in a one sided ponytail. I wrapped the blue ribbon around it and then I hugged her from behind.

"Lucy, it's okay. As long as you're okay, that ribbon doesn't matter."
