March 10, The magic games

Lucy P.O.V

Next up we have...Fairy Tail High school!

As we walked out from the tent, we knew the schools fate was in our hands. The school games is winner takes all.

As we stared at the other school's team, I started to feel really nervous. They still have me doing the athletics challenge.

Levy P.O.V

I looked over at the stands. I started to scan them, looking for Gajeel.

Where is he...Did he forget? No...He's probable still at cram school...

Erza P.O.V

I looked over at Lucy.

*The first day of traning.*

Training was over and I decided to go back to my office to get some of the paper work. When I walked into my office, I saw Lucy inside, waiting for me.

"Lucy...What're you doing here?"

"Um...Erza-san?" Lucy asked while twiddling her thumbs. "I have to tell you something."

"Sure, what is it?" I asked while walking to my desk.

She passed me a piece of paper. "What's this?"

"Read it."

I looked at it and my eyes opened in disbelief.

"Lucy...if we knew this...then we-"

"It's okay. It's just...I know it's too late to get a replacement and all, but I just want to warn you. I won't be able to win the last challenge..."

"Don't sweat it. Just show up and I'll take care of the rest."

"Thank you... Thank you."

Natsu P.O.V

Still no luck with Lucy...BUT! I will tell her!

I started to walk towards Lucy.

The first challenge is about to begin. Would all challengers for the first challenge come forth?

Damn it!

"Well. I guess that's me. Wish me luck!" I said while waving at my team.

I walked towards the entrance of the maze. It was a tall 10 foot high garden maze, but like every garden maze, there is a flaw.

The rules are simple. The first person to make it through the maze, wins.

"That sounds easy enough..." I mumbled to myself while stretching my arm.

"Hey."

I looked to the side of me to see a blond boy next to me.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"That hair of yours...When are you going to bleach it out?"

I felt a vein pop. "What?"

"Pink...isn't that kinda gay?"

I grabbed him by the shirt. "What did you say?!"

Uh uh uh. No fighting. If there is any fighting, the teammate involved gets the whole team disqualified.

I let go off him, making him fall to the floor. I rolled my eyes and prepared to run.

As I ran in, I just had to remember what I practiced.

First, look for a wall. If I find that wall, it'll lead me out of here in no time. But...I need to mark my place, just in case...

I walked up to the wall and punched it.

Makarov P.O.V

As I looked at the big screen, I started to feel really nervous.

Why is that brat taking his time?! He's in last!

Challenger Natsu Dragneel, from Fairy Tail high, seems to be falling behind!

I looked up at the wall clock. I'm late...

"Mr. Redfox, is something wrong?" asked my teacher.

Levy P.O.V

The winner is...Sting from Sabertooth high.

The crowd started to cheer.

I looked back at the stands and still didn't see Gajeel. Where is he...

Natsu came back from the maze. "Damn I lost! How could I lose to that bastard?!"

"You tried your hardest..." Lucy said while trying to cheer him up.

"Levy. You've been staring at the crowd lately. What's wrong?" asked Lucy.

"How much do you want to bet it has to do with that boyfriend of hers." Natsu said while rolling his eyes.

"Don't worry Levy. He'll show up. Just relax," Lucy said while smiling.

"Ye-yeah..." I looked back at the stands. The first challenge just finished. The second one is about to start...

Would the challengers for the second challenge, head towards the auditorium?

"Go Levy. You're up!" Natsu yelled while patting my back.

I looked back at them and smiled weakly.

Gajeel P.O.V

I quickly dashed out of cram school to get to the games. I just hope I won't miss her performance!

I started to get tired and realized, I'm not going to make it on foot. I looked over to the side and saw a guy with a bike.

"Excuse me! Can I borrow your bike?! I need to get somewhere fast. I promise I'll give it back!" I yelled in a panic.

"Um..."

"Please! It's an emergency!"

"I...I guess..."

"Thank you! I appreciate it!"

I quickly pedaled towards auditorium.

Levy P.O.V

The bright lights. The audience. The pressure of winning. It was all over whelming.

Challengers, get ready. In 5 minutes, we will be starting!

I looked back at the crowd and I still didn't see him.

"Levy!" I heard someone whisper. I looked back and saw Lucy. "Good luck! Fighting!" She whispered while she gave me a thumbs up.

Challengers get ready to start the next challenge.

I looked back at the audience and I still didn't see him.

Music started to play and a man in a black suit came out from behind the curtains.

"Welcome Ladies and gentlemen to this year's first School Games!"

The crowd went wild.

"I am your host, Samuel."

"The rules are simple. I ask a question, and the first person to ring they're buzzard gets to answer. If the answer is wrong, that student will be eliminated. To win, you need 5,000 points."

5,000...isn't that too much...?

"Now let's play, Are you the smartest?!"

"First question. What percentage of the earth is covered by water?"

I finally made it and I sat at the nearest seat I could find. Once I sat down, I looked at the score board to see Levy dead last.

I stood up and shouted, "Levy! You can do it!"

Levy P.O.V

Gajeel! I felt a smile creep up my face. I feel like I can do this now.

"Why does a year consist of 365 days and a day of 24 hours?"

I quickly buzzed.

"Levy McGarden from Fairy Tail."

"Finally decided to join us miss Levy. Now, the answer."
