Percy
Leo is a riot.
He comes up to me at 10, when my meeting is, to have me go over to the meeting room like a normal person. "Hi, I'm Leo Valdez, nice to meet you Percy Jackson. I will be your orientation advisor for this week as you get settled into your job," he greeted, giving out his hand to shake. I shook it, but glanced at his shirt. It had one of those sticker name tags that say 'Hi! My name is _____" His did not say his name was Leo, it said his name was bisexual, which is definitely an interesting way to tell everyone you meet that you're bi.
We walk into the conference room and I sit down in the chair across from him. "So," he says calmly.
"So," I reply, crossing my arms and leaning back in my chair.
Suddenly, he slams his elbows on the desk and looks straight at me, "You single?"
"What?" I ask, "I am, but what kind of orientation is this?"
"Okay, just asking because Annabeth? She obviously has a crush on you," he answers flatly.
"Crush? We're 24," I reply, slightly rolling my eyes, "Then again, I'm four at heart. But you really think so? She seems so work orienteted. And I'm fun oriented."
"Same here, my man," he answers, giving me a high five, "But she hates this company. The only reason why she hasn't quit, as you have probably noticed, it is very difficult to find a job in New York."
"Really?," I ask.
"Really," I replies, "Now I have a job to do. Do you know how to use a computer?"
"Yes."
"Good. Do you know how to make graphs on a computer using data from the computer?"
"Yes."
"Fabulous! You have been oriented. Now, go to work. Annabeth will give you more information if needed," he replies, shooing me off.
"Okay," I say, walking out of the room and back to my desk.
"Leo asked you two questions and said that's good?" Annabeth asked, not taking her eyes from the email she was writing.
"Yeah," I reply, sitting down.
"Good luck," she chuckles, going back to her work with a smile.
"You know, Annabeth, I am very single," I say, leaning on my desk. I have to at least ask her out to a dinner or something. She nice, she's cute. Why not?
"Really?!" She exclaims, a smile spreading across her face, "I mean, uh, yes, continue on." He goes back to a slight smile, but I feel she's holding back waves of happiness. She likes me too!
"Yeah, I was wondering, if uh, after work you wanted to go out to dinner, or go to a movie-"
"That'd be great, I'd love to!" She says cutting me off.
"Good," I chuckle, "Good." I look back at my work, still entirely confused.
