Emilia
"I have news." Katherine announces, pulling open the curtains. "Trouble is on it's way to Chicago." She whistles, smiling brightly.
"What have you done?" I ask, looking up at her from the bed. "Please tell me it's worth it." I mutter, placing my hand on my face to block out the sun.
"Oh, it's worth." She mutters excitedly, sitting on the edge of my bed. "I called Damon. I told him where Stefan is and he's going to save his brother." She adds, clapping.
My face falls and I sneer at her, anger rushing through my veins. "You bitch!" I screech, kicking her off the bed.
"What?" She scoffs, getting up from the floor.
"What? Are you kidding me?" I ask, scoffing. "Damon saving Stefan without Elena? Yeah, I'd like to hear that story." I add, "You didn't only lead Damon to Stefan but you also led my sister to Klaus."
"Oh."
"I can't believe you, Katherine." I sneer, "He's going to kill my sister." I raise my hands up in anger as I dig my nails in the back of my head.
"Not unless you're there in the scene and you could protect your sister." Katherine suggests, crossing her arms. "And I'll stay here incase they come around the city."
I scoff, "Of course, you'd save yourself first."
"At least we're being honest 'round here." She says, raising her arms in a surrender way. "No one's lying." She adds.
"Yeah except you who'd end up lying dead on the floor." I mutter, pulling on my leather jacket. I swerve around the room for my stuff as I get ready.
"I was using another term of lying, but yeah whatever."
"Touchè." I mutter, taking my phone before I walk out the motel. We were in Chicago but very far away from the city. It was 4pm with the sun ready to set and I walked to the bus stop.
♡ ♡ ♡
Thirteen bus stops and three hours later, I stand outside Gloria's bar. Unfortunately, it was in the other side of Chicago which took me some time to get here.
It was now 7pm and I was tired like a shark looking for it's prey. I stood in a bus stop and the bar was across the street. From my place, I had a perfect view of Klaus and Stefan who sat in the bar while they drank and talked to an elderly woman.
There was no sign of Damon or Elena so I stayed rooted to my spot. I sat on the sidewalk, my feet on the road as I stared at the friends laughing and enjoying their time.
I blew out an annoyed sigh as my phone started buzzing. I pulled it out and answered it angrily, "What?" I barked through the phone.
"What crawled up your ass and died?" Katherine asks, laughing.
"Your words." I muttered, blowing out a sigh.
"Okay okay," She replied, "So has anything bad happened?" She asked, curiously.
"Other than you calling me, no not much." I respond, pursing my lips.
"I'm not even gonna ask." She mutters before the line dies and I sigh in relief.
Suddenly, a familiar blue car parks in the dark night and my eyes widen. Damon steps out the car and opens the door for Elena who walks out nervously.
"Stay here." Damon says before he walks to the bar and steps inside. Elena stays beside the car and leans back on it. I have this sudden urge to talk to her so I get up and cross the street.
I gulp nervously as I near her and she doesn't seem fazed by my presence. "Elena." I announce my presence and she jumps, turning to look at me.
Her lips part in shock as she uncrosses her arms and stands up straight. "Emilia." She whispers, relived before she jumps at me and embraces me.
I smile and return the favor, holding her tight as she sobs on my shoulder. "I thought I'd never see you again." She whispers, clenching my shoulder.
I didn't reply. I didn't know what to say but pull back. I smile slightly and she stares at me, tears staining her face. I purse my lips and place my hands at my sides.
"Emilia?"
"I'm here to make sure Klaus doesn't find you, and that he doesn't kill Damon." I mutter just as Damon and Stefan step out of the bar. I gasp, turning to Elena. "Don't tell him I'm here." I whisper before I disappear behind the building before she could say a word.
I press my back against the wall as I take deep breaths. I'm only one wall away from Klaus with Elena two walls away. I was right beside the back door of the bar that had access to the kitchen.
"Hey there, pretty thing." A whisper came from beside me and I gasped. I turned to look at the stranger and my eyes narrow in confusion. A dude covered in tattoos leans on the wall beside me with his lather jacket.
His outfit was all black and a cigarette moved between his lips. He had a lip piercing, a brow piercing, a nose piercing, and an ear piercing.
"What are you? James Franco?" I ask, scoffing as I look at him up and down.
"No, I'm Triple X." He responds, crossing his arms.
I couldn't help the chuckle that escapes my mouth, and a chuckle turned into a fit of laughter. "I-I'm s-sorry," I manage to say between laughs, "What?"
"What. My name is Triple X, or at least that's what they call me." He mutters, shrugging. "But anyways, I'm here to win you over." He adds, a smirk plastered on his face.
"Win me over?" I ask, furrowing my eyebrows in confusion.
"Yeah, you see my friends over there." He says, motioning to a group of other drug dealers or whatever they were. "They dared me to win you over, and if I don't then one of them will."
"Win me over as in-"
"Sex."
I pursed my lips, "You call it sex, I call it rape."
"Don't you want a piece of this hottie?" He asks, opening his arms wide as he motions at himself. "Everybody does."
"Yeah, and guess what?" I whisper, stepping closer to him. "I'm not everybody." I smirk at him and push past him, bumping his shoulder on purpose.
His wrist locks around my left wrist and that was the sign of the beginning of a fight. I punch him with my right fist and take his arm that is wrapped around my wrist and spin him around, pushing him against the wall.
"You inspire my inner serial killer." I whisper close to his ear, pushing him harder against the wall.
A groan escapes him, "That was hot."
I roll my eyes, "Of course."
"Hey, my friend here means no harm to you." One of Triple X's friends say, holding out a hand that tells me to step away.
"Yeah, but I do."
"He was just being himself by flirting with any pretty thing that breathes." He replies, crossing his arms.
"I wouldn't call it flirting, but hey I'll leave him alone." I say, raising my arms in fake surrender. The man nods thankfully as Triple X stands beside him.
I retreat from them, looking at every and each one of them. I hear a movement of a gun sliding out of a pocket from the man behind me. Before he could make a move, I elbow his stomach and swipe him off of his feet.
That's when the fight really started.
I grabbed a trash lid and banged a guy on the back of his head, sending him unconscious to the floor. I had to fight this fairly without using my werecoyote powers. Okay maybe a little strength but nothing more.
I mean I'm innocent after all.
I chuckles at myself as I grabbed a trash bag full of trash and threw it at three guys at once. I swung my leg at another one and he fell at the impact.
I kicked one in his groin with my knee before I bent him forward and knees him in the stomach. I took a gun from the floor swiftly and hit the side of a guy's head.
I threw gun behind me, knowing that it would hit someone's head. And I was right. The impact of the gun came right on his forehead and he fell backwards.
A smirk grew on myself as I dusted off my leather jacket, my eyes scanning the area. All the drug dealers, or whatever they were, laid either unconscious or groaning in pain on the floor.
And damn I felt so proud of myself. I held it in for once. I controlled not only the full moon but the bloodlust too.
"Damn, I'm good." I whisper to myself, biting my lip excitedly.
Using my hearing abilities, I listen for anything happening inside the bar. I hear tables breaking and groans of pain.
"What can I say? I'm a thrill-seeker." Damon says, a groan escaping him right after his words.
"Oh Damon." I whisper, shaking my head as my heart starts beating fast, in nervous rapid beats.
I walk to a nearby window that has a view of the bar inside. I look inside and I gasp at the sight before me. Damon is being held by the throat by Klaus who is shoving a toothpick in his stomach, then moving upwards to his heart.
"You want a partner in crime? Forget Stefan. I'm so much more fun." Damon suggest, smirking at Klaus.
Klaus sneers and sends him backwards to a table. Damon crashes against it, breaking it before he rolls on the floor and landing on his back. Klaus rips part of the chair as a stake and stalks towards Damon.
My eyes widen as Klaus hovers over him, holding the stake higher. I couldn't control my legs which sped me through the back door and to the scene.
I was doing something completely wrong, but it was worth it. For him.
I pushed Klaus harshly off of Damon, sending him crashing against the wall. I let out a heavy breath as my eyes automatically met Damon's who stares at me eyed wide.
"Princess."
My eyes snap to Klaus's who stares at me astonishingly. "That was an entrance." He says, throwing the stake to the floor as he slowly walks towards me.
I stay rooted to my spot as my hands ball into fists. "Hello, Klaus. You don't look different than I last seen you." Seriously Emilia? "Expect y'know, the whole fangs and hybrid look you pull off." I gesture to my face to emphasize.
I clear my throat as my feet nervously move up and down on the floor.
"I knew you'd come to me." Klaus whispers, smirking.
"Yeah, well now I'm going." I mutter, turning to run out the bar. But before I could take a step, Klaus speeds towards me and slams against the bar.
"Where do you think you're going, pretty thing?" He whispers, his eyes roaming my face.
"Y'know, the gang leader said the same exact thing and it didn't go really well for him." I reply, clenching my jaw.
"I like your jokes." He responds, chuckling.
"That wasn't a joke. And trust me weak filthy gang leaders are no different than you." What I said hit a nerve and he tilted his head.
"Watch what you say, princess."
"No, you will watch it when I say it." I hiss, pushing Klaus off of me as I pull at my leather jacket to adjust it.
"I see you grew a nerve on your little two month vacation." He says, amused as he smirks.
"And I see your cockiness seemed to grow in your little two month vacation." I mock him, licking my lips as he glares at me.
"You should really be careful with what you say, princess, wouldn't want anyone getting hurt." He says, clicking his tongue.
"Michael Jackson died and no one said anything about it." I say, "I'd like to know what people would say if Klaus Mikaelson died." I pause, "Oh wait, he's already dead." I chuckled, proud that his angry vein throbbed in his neck.
"What's going on here?" Stefan asks, stepping in the bar.
"Oh Stefan, welcome to the party." I smile at him, "I call it the Emilia Roasting Show." I say, crossing my arms as a smirk plays at my lips.
"Princess," Klaus begins, "I've had enough of your little pep talk and you telling me things I already know. How about you join Stefan and I on our little journey?"
"No."
"It wasn't a question."
"Wow," I chuckle, "I guess grammar wasn't really a thing back in the 10th century."
"Enough." Klaus's loud voice boomed in the empty bar. "Enough of this, Emilia, you're coming with me. We're starting an army. You'll be my number one and we will work all this out." He says, grabbing my arm.
"You're not taking her anywhere." Damon says, speeding towards us as he stand in front of me and pushes Klaus back.
"You don't wanna mess with me. We both know what happened a while ago, don't we?" Klaus warns, staring deadly in Damon's eyes.
"Damon," I say, touching his arm. "It's alright. I'll kill my way through this war. I don't even know what's the point of running when the same thing will happen over and over again."
"That's not it." Damon replies, turning to look at me. "It's the fact that if you go with him, you won't come back the same. You won't be the Emilia Gilbert everybody once knew. You'd be a deadly monster, turned by the almighty Klaus."
"Oh, and what am I now?" I scoff, "I'm not even a hybrid and I'm already a monster. I maybe just killed ten guys out the bar just because one of them wanted to have sex with me. I drink blood for satisfaction. I'm roaming Chicago with the biggest vampire bitch. I don't think that it would be a huge change if I become something else."
Damon stares at me speechlessly as I take deep breaths after my speech. "Who even are you?" He whispers before he turns around and walks out the bar.
I blow out an irritated sigh as I run my fingers through my blonde locks. "Ready princess?" Klaus asks, holding his hand out for me. I sigh but take it, shaking my head.
"I can't believe I'm doing this."
