Emilia

"Princess meet Rebekah, Rebekah meet Princess." Klaus introduces, using his hand to motion between me and the blonde.

"Of course," I scoff, "God didn't think two Mikaelson's were enough." I mutter, looking up and down at Rebekah.

"I never met anyone named Princess." Rebekah says, chuckling.

"Oh, that's not my name. My name is Emilia John Gilbert II." I reply, crossing my arms as I raise my head up high.

"Gilbert the second?" Rebekah asks, laughing when I nod my head. "Gosh, I already love your princess brother." She turns to her brother who smiles widely at our instant connection.

I rolled my eyes, "I prefer being called the Badass Bitch, but princess works too." I shrug my shoulders as I look around the clothing store, "Why are we here again?"

"Rebekah needs a new wardrobe since she passed out for 90 years. You're the only girl here so you're gonna help her out." Klaus answers.

"Passed out." Rebekah whispers, scoffing.

"You passed out for 90 years?" I ask, turning to Rebekah with a look of pure shock on my face.

"No, of course not. Niklaus put a dagger in me for punishment and it's just now that he has thought of me." Rebekah replies, shrugging but I could see the hurt scratching it's way to her features.

"How brotherly of you." I sarcastically say, sending Klaus a fake smile. "Dick." I mutter, my expression turning into hatred as I walk past him, bumping shoulders purposely before I walk to the rack full of clothes.

Rebekah chuckles as she follows me, "I have a feeling that we're going to get along."

"Everyone says that." I whisper, more to myself. "But then I have a feeling that it will all just shatter. Just like my life." I add, giving her a pair of jean short. "This will work with any top."

"Alright, thanks." She smiles before walking to the dressing room. I blow out a sigh and slide my hands in the back of my jean pockets. I bite my lip, rocking on my feet as I look around the store.

"I'd say stop staring, but I'll just go with the cliche line." I sigh, turning to look at him. "Take a picture, it will last longer." I say, raising a perfectly sassy eyebrow.

Stefan chuckles, leaning off the wall as he walks towards me, a smile on his face. He then surprisingly took his phone out and snapped a picture of me. "Now I can stare at you longer."

I roll my eyes, "Stop flirting, mister." I couldn't help but let the smile appear on my face as I chuckle.

"I'm not flirting."

"Hmm, if it helps you sleep at night. But we both know it." I reply, "But you can't flirt with me, Stefan, you're in love with my sister. Remember her? Elena Gilbert? The one you broke last night?"

A hard expression falls on his face and I shake my head, "You think I'd go around flirting and having fun with you when you broke my other half?" I walk towards him, stopping till I was an inch away. "I might be putting on the fake fun facade mask, but trust me you don't want it off. 'Cuz that my friend is hell." I whisper, glaring at him.

Stefan turns his face away from me and I smile to myself, satisfied. "Good talk." I mutter, patting his chest before I turn around and walk to the couch Klaus is sitting on.

I blow out an irritated sigh as I plop down on the couch next to Klaus. "Heated conversation you and Stefan had back there." Klaus says, sipping at his glass of champagne.

I turn to look at him, sneering I say, "My words stay noted, Niklaus, you don't wanna see my bad side."

"Someone's on their monthly cycle." He mutters under his breath, gulping down the rest of the champagne.

"There has to be more to this dress." Rebekah says from inside the dressing room.

"There's not." Klaus replies back, placing his arm behind my shoulders.

Rebekah sighs as she steps out of the fitting room, wearing a short black dress. "So women in the 21st century dress like prostitutes, then. You know, I got dirty looks for wearing trousers."

"You wore trousers so women today could wear nothing." Klaus says, shrugging his shoulders.

"And what is this music? It sounds like a cable car accident." Rebekah scoffs, looking around the clothing store that had the cable car accident music blaring through.

"It's dance music." Stefan answers, sitting down beside me but he keeps his distance.

"People dance to this?" Rebekah asks, raising an eyebrow.

"Yup." I reply, crossing my right leg over my left leg.

"Are we done?" Klaus asks, clearing his throat.

"And why are you so grumpy?" Rebekah asks, scoffing as she looks at her brother.

"I needed one thing from you for my witch to find out why my hybrids are dying, one thing." Klaus answers, his jaw clenching. "Your necklace. And you lost it." His voice boomed the place.

My eyebrows furrow in confusion as Rebekah replies back, "I didn't lose it. It's just been missing for 90 years." She then turns to look at me, "So what do you think?"

"Love it. Totally works on you. I'm not a total fashion designer but I know a hot girl when I see one, right Stefan?" I turn to look at Stefan, raising an eyebrow at him.

"I like it." Stefan ignores me and says to Rebekah. I scoff and cross my arms, my lips thinning.

Rebekah scoffs at Stefan, not seeming satisfied about his complement. "What? I said I like it." Stefan says defensively.

"I can always tell when you're lying, Stefan." She says before she goes back into the fitting room.

"Nice one. Good work." Klaus sarcastically says, turning to look at Stefan.

"You're the one that pulled the dagger out of her." Stefan replies, shrugging.

"I heard that." Rebekah says from the fitting room.

"All right. I'm going to get some fresh air." Stefan says, sighing as he gets up. "Bye Stefan. We'll miss you." I sarcastically say, waving him goodbye as he rolls his eyes, walking out the door.

"What's going on between you two?" Klaus asks me, pouring himself a glass of champagne.

"I don't see your business written over it." I reply, standing up as I walk to the door. Rebekah's chuckle booms the clothing store before I step out of it and into the windy weather of Chicago.

My eyeballs nearly pop out of my face when I spot Katherine twisting her hair as she leans against a wall. She smirks at me when her eyes meet mine. She motions for me to come over and I stomp across the street to meet her.

"Are you crazy?" I hiss, pushing her away from the view of the clothing store.

"No, but you won't believe that information I got from Stefan." She says excitedly, smirking proudly at herself.

"What?"

"Well apparently Klaus is looking for Rebekah's necklace that she lost. But it isn't actually lost because your sister has it wrapped around her neck." Katherine says.

"Oh my god!" I gasp, "If Klaus finds it, he'll find Elena. And if he finds Elena, he'll kill her."

"Yeah, but Stefan says he has it all under control."

"I know your undying love for him, Kat, but Stefan gives up too easily. It's a matter of time before he officially becomes Klaus's bff and tells him everything we tried hiding from him." I reply, crossing my arms.

"That is incase we find a way out of all this. Some way to satisfy Klaus, you, Stefan, Elena, and most importantly me." Katherine says, smiling.

"Alright, call me when you find a way." I say sarcastically, "I'll wait a hundred years for one call."

"You'll be dead by then, but me on the other hand-"

"Will still have your head up your ass." I continue for her, earning a glare from her brown orbs. "I'm sorry to ruin your little useless talk, Katherine, but I gotta go play the role of a fashion designer who plays dress up with a blonde original."

"Have fun," Katherine chirps, "But not too much." She winks before she turns around and disappears down the street. I roll my eyes before I walk back to the clothing story, sighing.

"One day, I'm going to marry Channing Tatum and actually living a freaking normal life."
