Would You Ra-WHAT?!

"I guess... I don't know! Moving on!" I shouted, laughing at how random a large amount of the would-you-rathers were. Some were completely messed up, but they made you think and those were the ones I liked the most.

Some of my answers were probably going to cause an up roar in the comments, but that's what you get for voicing your opinion half the time. It really ticked me off when people get all defensive about something when someone else simply voiced their opinion on it.

"Okay... Would you rather be transformed into a cat for about a week, just to see what it feels like to be a cat or be transformed into a dog for a day." I read out, my mind zipped around crazily as I sat contemplating which I'd prefer. Shuffling around in my chair, I adapted the thinkers pose and stared at my screen.

"I personally kind of already know what it's like to be a dog. Not saying that I've crawled around on all fours, doing what dogs do on a regular basis. But as you all know, I have Chica and Lego, so yeah," I chuckled and rubbed my left cheek, running my fingers over my shadow of a beard. If that's whet it even was. "So... I guess I'd say cat. Purely because I don't own one and it'd be really cool, cause I'd be able to test out whether or not cats have nine lives or not." I chuckled, a board grin fixating itself upon my face. I ran my fingers through my blue dyed hair.

"It also says that you only get to be a dog for a day, but you get to be a cat for a week. So I choose to be transformed into cat!" I laughed wholeheartedly. I clicked on the cat one and sat waiting for the next set of questions.

I don't know why I keep calling them questions, they clearly are not, but at the same time they are. Or whatever. My brain felt a little smuged, like someone had dropped their coffee, had it spill everywhere and when they went to clean up the mess with tissues, they merely made more of a mess and then they decided to just give up and leave the mess for someone else to clean up.

I stared at my screen, my eyes not really focusing on anything. Confused, I tried to focus my eyes upon my screen, so I could answer the new questions, which I wasn't even curtain were on the screen, but my eyes stubbornly refused to focus.

"What the heck?!" I growled in my head, ripping off my glasses in anger and massaging my eyes. Leaving my glasses off, I looked at my screens and my eyes focused to such clarity a small headache fixated itself behind my eyes and slowly started to grow in intensity.

"Wait... WHAT THE HECK?!" The shout violently ripped itself from my throat. I winched at the suddenly unusually load shout that invaded my unusually sensitive ears and aggravated the headache slowly pounding away behind my eyes. I simply sat staring at everything in front of me in total and complete denial. The crystal clear clarity of my work space made me feel as though I was looking at a high definition photo or seeing the world through the eyes of an animal with 20/20 vision.

I was shocked into a silence so deep and long, that fifteen minutes had already gone past. Curious, I moved my head every which way. I pinched myself several times and repeatedly open and closed my eyes to make sure I wasn't somehow dreaming in HD and would wake to have to restart the day over again or even wake up to find myself in hospital or something. This is so trippy.

What the heck is going on? I need my glasses to see, even though I can kind of see with out them, I still need them. Or had needed them. Was I actually dreaming or was I awake? I'm so confused right now. I just can't wrap my head around this. This is so weird.

Shuffling uncomfortably in my chair, I looked into the camera, than looked at the screen that allowed me to see what I looked like while I record. I started in surprise when I noticed that my eyes had changed colour and my pupils were thin black slits. The normal chocolate brown of my iris' was now a light golden brown with bright yellow flecks scattered randomly, making my eyes look like they were slightly glowing. Don't get me wrong, the mix of colours was gorgeous, but the pupils were really putting me off.

"What the f*** is going on?" My headache spiked, causing me to have to close my eyes in an attempt at dull down the pain vibrating through my head. It didn't relieve the pain at all. The pain just increased.

I need painkillers and I need them now. Keeping my eyes shut tight, I felt around for the painkillers I kept on my desk for times when I stressed myself out so much I'd give myself a migraine. I felt the packet and grabbed for it greedily. I must look really weird. Eyes shut tight, completely quite, feeling around for something unseen on my desk.

The pain in my head intensified ten fold and started to spread like a plague through the rest of my body. I ripped open the packet, wanting the intensifying pain gone. Shacking the packet, I grappled blindly at the things that hold the pills, only they were all empty. Tears stung my eyes as I force them open.

The pain was becoming unbearable. Every bone in my body started to ache unbearably and felt as though they were reshaping themselves and changing positions. All my muscles and some I never knew I even had, clenched, twisted and moved at they own accord. I could feel sweat gathering on my skin, but the slightest movement to wipe away the sweat gathering and running annoyingly down my face, sent waves of endless agonising pain through my aching, throbbing, searing body.

"AAHHHUAHHH!" The cry quenched it's thirst to be heard by escaping my aching body. I curled painfully into a ball, holding my stomach in an attempt to squish the pain away that was ripping my guts to shreds, but it only made it worse. The pain intensified even more as I screamed endlessly in pain and discomfort.

Tears fell painful, hot and agonisingly down my sensitive skin. My lungs depilated of air, they screamed along side me as I continued to scream silently. My body twisted, jerked and twitched haphazardly and painfully as I tried desperately and failed to gulp down the much needed air through the searing hot pain. I felt as though someone was holding a clothe to my face and I just couldn't get them to stop holding it there so I could breathe.

As suddenly and as unexpectedly as the agonising pain and the whole weird situation had come, it left all most as quickly, leaving me panting, splattering, aching and questioning what the heck just happened.

The feeling of air filling my desperately air-depleted lungs, was such a welcome relief, I would have thrown it a welcome back party, but all I could do was nothing but lay on my side on the floor exhausted, gulping greedily at the stuffy, sweat-calf air that now filled my room. How and when I had found my way to the floor was beyond me. Right now, all I wanted to do was rest and allow my body to recover from the excruciating pain that had spasmed my entire being only moments ago.

Signing unevenly, due to the lack of fresh air and the resent re-inflation of my lungs, I let my mind wonder wildly, though it still pounded away at a steady pace, relentless to stop aching. Sleep shortly followed, claiming my sweaty, exhausted body and carried me off into the world of dreams and weird physics.
