I went upstairs crying, I lost my best friend, dad had told me they found Mia's car parked in the road, her parents say she was missing of few days, she must been missing since we hanged out, they searched the woods, they found her body this morning, oh mia I'm sorry. Mia parents left soon, Charlie gave me some time to mourn the death of my friend. Bella has came home after Mia parents left, Charlie had told her what happened, i was laying in bed crying when I hear come in, she laid right next to me, "I'm sorry Cat, I know how she meant to you" she whispered, I just cried, "she didn't deserve this, she didn't deserve to die. We're supposed graduate together, go off to college." I cried, I stand up in my bed "bella look at this photos, tell me that's not a bite mark" I wiped away my tears. I handed her my phone, she looked at them, "theres no way a bear or a wolf could do this" I said "yea maybe we should show these to Carlisle maybe he'll know" she said. 

Mia POV
Few days before Death

I left Cat and Dave at lunch, my mom has been blowing up my phone, alright mom I'm coming, I have text her I need to go to the store, to pick up some thing for me, it was getting dark soon, shit I need to hurry, I drove down the road, the forest is all at can see the big tress, all of sudden I felt as if I ran over something I stopped to see what I stepped on, nothing that's weird, I turned to see a woman with red hair, red eyes! Oh my god what hell. She starts walking towards me "What do you want! Please leave I just wanna go home" I begged her "ohh but why I'm just hungry and your making me thirsty" she smiled with the worst creepy smile. I ran into the forest as fast as I could but she ran even fast, she grabbed me by the throat and lifted me up, she throw me but she caught me, I felt her teeth dig in me.

Cat POV

I haven't seen Jacob since I went with Bella to save Edward, he must've felt heart broken because we left. I tried calling him but no luck I left voicemails but no call back, I was in my room collecting clothes mia she had left here when we had sleepovers, her parents would've want them, I have a framed picture I made with me an mia smiling together, Bella came in "hey have you talked to jake" "no I actually been trying to call him but no luck" I said "I am try to call him, see if answers me" she said I nodded. After I was done collecting her things I went to the cullens house to ask Carlisle to lol at the photos. I knocked on the door Esme answered "Cat please come on in" she said "is Carlisle here I need to talk to him?" Carlisle walked in "what's wrong Cat?" He said "can you look at these photos, what do you see" I said. He studied the photos carefully "these marks don't look like from an animal" he said. I felt tears coming out "then from what" I said tearing up he sigh "vampire" he said. I couldn't help it I started crying, Esme helped me to the couch, "do you know her?" She said I nodded, "she's my best friend They found her body this morning." I said. "Oh honey I'm sorry" Esme hugged me. I left other cold hand on my hand, it was Rosalie. She whispered "sorry" I nodded, I appreciate their confront, I saw bella and Edward come in, "what happened" Edward said "Cat friend was killed my a vampire" he said "the Quileute would think it was us, but we don't feed on humans" Edward said, "it could have been Victoria, jake and the pack tried catching her" Bella said. "Probably" Carlisle said. "Was she close to you" Esme said "yea we been best friends since I moved here, she's never got to graduate or go to college, or be married have kids of her own" i said. Mia always wanted kids of her own, have a family. She even picked up the kids names, she wanted 2 kids a boy and girl, Daniel, Lucy were her picked names. She always loved those names. Now she can't use those names.

The funeral was in a couple of days, I had dropped off the thing of Mia to her parents, I need to clear my mind I went to a coffee shop "Cat" i heard a voice call me I turn to see Dave, he was wearing a black V line shirt with jeans, with is black mess hair, brown eyes, and pale skin, damn he looks hot. "Hey Dave" I tried to sound normal, he hugged me "I'm sorry about mia I heard" he said hugging me, "thanks, the funeral is in an couple of days I'm text you" I said "thanks if it's okay Can I join you for coffee" he said "yea" I said. He got coffee together.
