Gabriel failed again to keep Adrien away from relationships and Lila failed to do so too. The door burst open and there stood Nathalie looking angry at what he did to endanger Adrien by akumatizing him.

"What were you thinking, Gabriel?!" Nathalie may be able to stand but her condition will soon get worse in days or weeks.

"What?" Gabriel turned.

"You akumatized your son!" She yelled.

"You endangered him just like you endangered countless times directly!" Nathalie yelled.

"It was meant for Dupain-Cheng!" Gabriel said.

"I can't believe you would stupidly do that! Do you think akumatizing her would make Adrien give up on her?! He loves her, Gabriel! Doesn't he remind you of Emilie when she fell in love with a lower social class like you?! For god's sake, you're blind!" Nathalie said.

"I'm not losing my son to some baker who is changing him!" Gabriel said.

"That's called teenage life! Adrien is allowed to build his own happiness. He's not like you, Gabriel! If you keep this up, I'm bringing a therapist to aid Adrien! He's trying to recover from his anxiety but you're making it worse for him because the cataclysm on your body is making your mental state a psychopath! Do you see me like that when I'm dying too?!" Nathalie yelling in his face to get his act together.

"Of course not!" Gabriel replied.

"I don't fear death and neither did Emilie because she accepted it! You foolishly want to know where Ladybug lives but you got yourself a death wish! Honestly, you are corrupted! I lost faith in you because you care more about yourself than Adrien! You failed to save Emilie and me by rewriting the past" Nathalie said.

She then used enough strength to slap him hard in the face, "The snake miraculous doesn't work and it only accelerates your demise! I'm gonna find a therapist for Adrien! He needs to get his pressured feelings out or the anxiety will corrupt his sanity! Since you have no heart to care for him anymore!" Nathalie leaves the office since she can see that Gabriel is not very good at taking advice. Even if he says he's the father but he doesn't act like one when he's the one who is condemning the Agreste family a lot.

Gabriel was left speechless. He can't let Nathalie do this her own way. Everything was for Emilie and Adrien. But he was too twisted to realize it.

Nathalie checked on Adrien in his bedroom and saw he was trembling again from either being pressured by his father from hanging out or something else.

"Adrien? Oh no," She began calling a therapist.

Adrien was looking at his hand, getting trauma flashbacks of his leather gloves hand filled with destruction.

"No! NO!" He clutched his head and fell on his knees, groaning.

Nathalie saw his anxiety getting worse because of isolation. Gabriel is a monster that can't even see that Adrien needed his father but it's too late already. The damage of his madness is making Adrien feel like he already lost his father just like he lost his mother. She dials the therapist and half an hour later, the therapist arrives to talk to Adrien. She noticed how serious it was that his anxiety was making him feel scared of something. He barely even moved from his couch.

"So tell me, What's making you feel worried?" The therapist asked Adrien.

Adrien was too scared to talk about it, he could not say that he almost killed a villain which would give away his secret.

"I'm trying to help you, Adrien," The Therapist said.

Adrien then decides to cover it up, "I'm just worried about what could happen if Cat Noir ever went rogue and killing people. But that's not the problem I'm going through. I'm in love with this girl and I'm afraid to lose her like I lost my mother. My father is seeing me less and less every day" He started.

"Ah, I see. Your father is clearly neglecting you" The therapist said.

"But now I have friends and the girl I love but my father thinks they are a 'bad influence' to his brand company. All I ever want is to be like people my age" Adrien admitted how he feels but is scared if the therapist will tell that to Gabriel

"I see," The Therapist wrote it down.

"My father never sees me that I'm not okay. He would send his assistant Nathalie to aid me. If I'm sick, not feeling myself, sad, or hurt" Adrien said.

"I see. This is definitely called uninvolved parenting but also a lack of responsiveness to a child's needs. You're a teenager but still not old enough to live a life yet. Have you tried talking to your father about how you're feeling?" The therapist asked.

"I have, but it was more out of anger," Adrien said.

"Definitely uninvolved parenting. I would need to speak with your father" Therapist said.

"No! I mean, please don't! He can fire anyone if you get on his bad side" Adrien said.

"I'm just trying to help you," The Therapist said.

"I know but my father is a powerful man. Any time someone helps me, he would go insane to think someone is hurting me" Adrien trembled like a leaf.

The therapist was now not sure what to do to help Adrien, "Is it okay to tell the assistant of your father?" The therapist said.

"Of course," Adrien said.

"So, tell me about your life at school. Your friends are nice?" The therapist asked.

"Most of them are, except for two, the Mayor's daughter and an Italian girl named Lila Rossi, who constantly lies and manipulates people," Adrien said.

"I see. As long as you have nice friends, your life is stable with joy. From what you told me, it seems that your father is neglecting you. Tell me what makes you upset about him" Therapist asked.

"He never lets go that mom is missing, he never spends time with me, never approves relationships, and forces me to do things," Adrien said.

"Sounds like a strict father. But this is very unhealthy for you, Adrien. The relationship between a neglectful parent and an isolated child is not good. You're developing higher self-esteem, and lower anxiety and depression rates" The therapist said.

"What should I do?" Adrien asked.

"Either a foster parent to look after you or have Nathalie be the one to care for you. Isolation is very unhealthy for your sanity, Adrien. But you're lucky you have supported friends and the girl you love. Does she love you?" Therapist said.

"With all her heart," Adrien said.

"That's a good start for you. You have someone to love you" Therapist said.

"But my father disapproves of our love. He's forcing me to bond with my ex Kagami. She and I are just friends now" Adrien said.

"I understand," The Therapist said.

"She and I don't have a love connection. And we all know arranged marriage is illegal in France" Adrien said.

"True. Now tell me about the relationship with your current girlfriend" The Therapist writing everything down.

"Well it all started with us as classmates last year and she thought I had bad intentions with the gum on the seat until I explained later on" Adrien started.

Much later, he finished with Kim apologizing for his harmful prank and ending his friendship with Chloe for good for seeing Marinette as nothing but a doormat.

"After all that, the panic attacks came after my father kept disapproving of my relationship with her, but she's good at helping me through my panic attacks" He came to where the panic attacks started.

"I see. Your relationship with her is improving and you are growing to learn to move on from the past. Living in the past means no future but you are building your future with her. That's a great start for you. As long as she is there for you, your anxiety will reduce. Panic attacks take a while to go away, just as long as you have real supportive friends. Talking is sharing and sharing is caring. Good talk with you. If you ever get issues again, give me a call" The therapist said.

"Thank you so much," Adrien said.

Gabriel was very angry that Nathalie called in the therapist to talk about Adrien's anxiety but Nathalie shuts Gabriel up that Adrien needed a therapist to get his anxiety out.

"This is for his own good, Gabriel! Not your way. I've listened to you and did your way, but now it's your turn to follow my way! Your way has done nothing but hurt him badly! All you've ever been is being a cruel man to him!" Nathalie said.

"How dare you?!" Gabriel shouted but clutched to his chest, the cataclysm spreading more.

"You'll never bring Emilie back and even if you did get the wish, you'll only pay a terrible price! It could be Adrien as the sacrifice and Emilie would never want to be with you ever again!" Nathalie said, remembering the argument they had when Adrien was 6 years old.

(Flashback)

Emilie knew that she would no longer be here and she tried and tried to convince her husband to stop looking for other miraculous and focus on Adrien before she accepted her fate and Adrien was gonna need Nathalie and his father.

"Gabriel, please. This is about Adrien. Not me. You're too busy with the miraculous and you missed his 6th birthday" Emilie did not show much anger to him because she didn't want Adrien to overhear.

"You have no idea what they can do for us," Gabriel said.

"You don't know the powers it can do. It can make you lose your mind!" Emilie tries to reason with him to stop but he thinks she's being overly dramatic.

"Don't be dramatic, Emily" Gabriel said.

"This is about family, Gabriel! Stop trying to find other miraculous to cure my condition. They are probably lost or never to be found!" Emily did not like this behavior from her husband becoming stubborn and not easily convinced.

"Adrien can't live without you," Gabriel said.

"He's a child, Gabriel. He's gonna need his father. And Nathalie has taken care of him like a mother whenever we go out. Do not say that I made a mistake with the peacock miraculous because that would refer to saying he's the mistake! Our little prince is a miracle, not a mistake!" Emilie said.

"Colt never loved Felix. He saw him as a mistake" Gabriel said.

"You're stubborn" Emilie leaves the office since she can't even stand his stubbornness.

Nathalie heard everything and Emilie coughed a little from her condition but she had to remain strong to be a mother to her son.

"He won't let go," Emilie said.

"He just wants to save you," Nathalie said.

"I've accepted my fate, Nathalie. I don't need a sacrifice to fix me. Please promise me when I'm gone, have my sweet little prince go to public school to make new friends than just Chloe. He will have all the support and love from new friends. I don't want him to feel alone but to learn new things outside the mansion" Emilie said.

"I promise," Nathalie said.

Unfortunately, Nathalie failed her promise to keep Gabriel away from getting his hands on the miraculous. She was brainwashed by him instead of doing the right thing. But she now saw his insanity had consumed him. The obsession of the miraculous has already made him a madman but the cataclysm on his body made him get his death wish because of his madness.

With Adrien, he was chatting with Marinette. He somehow felt a little better with getting the pressure out by talking to a therapist.

"So a therapist made you feel better?" Marinette asked.

"Qui, Nathalie called a therapy for me," Adrien said.

"How kind of her. She and I make a great therapy team" Marinette said.

"I didn't ask her to but you are my best therapy to save my life from going insane" Adrien kissed her cheek.

"Thank you my prince" Marinette giggled.

"I know Cat Noir calls you princess like a lot but can I call you princess" Adrien asked.

"Of course. After all my balcony is like a tower" Marinette said.

"Heh, I'm used to him but I'm not used to any other knights taking you from me" Adrien held her close.

"You're my only knight," Marinette said.

"Back at the museum date, I thought Luka stole your heart," Adrien said.

"But he didn't" Marinette replied.

"I don't mean to be jealous," Adrien said nervously.

"It's okay Adrien," Marinette said.
