Ladybug and Cat Noir were waiting for Argos and Ryuko to arrive. Cat Noir wasn't looking very happy to see the bloody blue bird again, especially after what he put his lady through during the Strikeback incident to betray Paris.

The two arrive but Cat Noir glared at Argos, growling angrily like a real cat and his cat ears folded back as a sign of anger.

"Whoa, whoa! I can see you're very pissed off. What did I do to really upset you other than betray your lady?" Argos said nervously.

"Oh, let's see. As I remember, a very bad puppy with no leash or training played his role and sold us out to a bigger monster much worse than a hellhound! Putting my lady in so much misery, agony, trauma, and self-loathing. Putting everyone's fate and dreams in danger by using the time miraculous to erase me and milady, and including you like you never got the peacock miraculous nor ever became Argos in an altered future!" Cat Noir threw the baton at him but Argos ducked, "Do I have to spell out all your sins?!" Cat Noir roared with a meow.

"Kitty, calm down! Calm down!" Ladybug scratched him to calm him down before he tried to cataclysm the bird.

"I should've eaten that bird!" Cat Noir growled but calmed down from his lady, "Cats eat birds"

"Don't be like your alternative self's old ego" Ladybug said.

"I'm not!" Cat Noir said.

"What?" Argos and Ryuko said.

"Nothing! Kitty! I said to remain calm!" Ladybug yanked his bell.

"I'll calm down until he admits what he put us through before betraying all of us and why he would do something far worse than Monarch!" Cat Noir wants an explanation from him.

"He's right. I did nothing but cause trouble because I never told any of you the truth. I needed the peacock miraculous to preserve my existence. Including Adrien's and hers" Argos points to Kagami.

"The hell are you talking about?" Cat Noir asked in disbelief.

"Don't you get it?! Ever since you guys sent the...." Argos hates the term word, ".....Sentimonsters......to the sun, I refused to feel victory with all of you because I'm......I'm a sentimonster myself too. The reason why I had to make an exchange was because I needed the peacock miraculous. That real monster has used my kind to do his bidding and just kills them in the end when they fail because of you two" Argos glared at them.

"That's not enough to forgive you," Cat Noir said.

"So it's okay to let Shadow Moth erase me as in killing me while he abuses my cousin and my lovely queen like he treats sentimonsters as useless creatures the same way he treats kwamis as his slaves?! I cared about my cousin's existence from being erased! I had no choice but to make a deal or he would have killed me with a snap of his fingers! And I didn't know he would go that far to reforge the miraculous like his toys to play with!" Argos yelled at the cat.

Cat Noir was unfazed but was silently surprised that he too was a senti-hybrid.

"If you don't believe me, furball. Believe this" Argos tossed the Viewfinder sentimonster to reveal the truth. After checking, Cat Noir's pupils shrunk.

"That figures why Adrien never told him off. But it makes him more human than Gabriel was. With that monster soon dead, no one controls him anymore" Cat Noir tossed it back.

"That is precisely why Gabriel cannot die just yet until justice is justified. Including that liar Lila Rossi who is not actually Lila Rossi at all" Ryuko said.

"Apparently it was a wig," Ladybug said.

"And eye contacts. I saw she was disguised as a doctor and she wanted the butterfly miraculous from my uncle. I outsmarted her by replacing the real one with a fake. Obviously, you two have no sense of awareness because you two are busy celebrating your victory" Argos scoffed at their lack of awareness.

"Enough Argos! I got the brooch safely! So no successor to Gabriel!" Ladybug had enough.

"What he means is that you're not aware of your surroundings. Like he did to you as Flairmidable. If a new person is much worse than Gabriel or Lila, who knows what else can happen" Ryuko explained.

"She's right. That Viewfinder thing revealed the truth about who is Monarch. We thought it was him the first time but we were tricked all along. Far too long, milady" Cat Noir.

"I once suspected he was Hawk Moth but he tricked us," Ladybug said.

"Villains are always gonna trick heroes, Ladybug. He almost tricked me but I outsmarted him" Argos said.

"Yes. But now, so we're not going through this thousands of times, you're gonna follow our oath to serve justice" Ladybug said.

"And I hope you listen to my awareness since you both let enemies get away with it for too long," Argos said.

"We will. In case a new villain appears. But Argos, since you returned the miraculous to me so I could restore them, I hereby accept your forgiveness, you admitting your own mistakes and no more betrayals, I hereby declare you part of the team" Ladybug held her hand out for a shake.

Argos shook her hand, "No mischief and betrayal, just serving justice"

"Glad you learned your lesson, King" Ryuko said.

"Well you earned our trust" Cat Noir shook hands with Argos.

"You may look like a panther but please don't eat me. I like my feathers to be un-plucked" Argos said.

"I won't eat you, as long as you stay a good bird," Cat Noir said.

"Are you done being pissed off?" Argos asked.

"Yes," Cat Noir nodded.

"Good Kitty" Argos pets him between his ears.

The feline only likes his lady to pet him, "Enough" He smacks his hand away, "I'm a very untamed cat"

"By the way I know where to find the liar," Argos said.

"There's no address at where she lives. It's like she never existed" Ladybug said.

"But we tracked her with the fake brooch. You have the real one" Argos said.

"What the hell are you? A spy agent?" Cat Noir asked.

"In a manner of speaking," Argos said.

They soon got to the catacombs to find the secret lair, "Damn it it's like rats everywhere" Cat Noir said.

"No kidding," Ladybug said.

"I hate rats too. Just ignore them. Come on" Argos hates stepping on rats.

They kept moving in the tunnels until it was getting too dark in the tunnel which was difficult for Ladybug, Argos, and Ryuko, except for Cat Noir who has night vision.

"I can't see," Ladybug said.

"I can. Stay here, guys. I got this" Cat Noir ran through the dark tunnel to find the liar.

Using his sense of smell and night vision he ran through the tunnels. He could hear a screaming tantrum coming from her as he smirked to follow her voice.

"I have you now!" He leaped forward and pounced on Cerise.

"Agh!" Cerise got tackled but quickly pretended to lie about why she was in the catacombs which she wasn't supposed to be in, "I was just exploring these catacombs!"

"Nice try but your lies are too predictable, Lie-la!" Cat Noir lifts her.

"What are you talking about?! You got the wrong person!" Cerise lied again.

Cat Noir proves it by holding her wrist that she's wearing the same bracelets she wore as Lila Rossi.

"Be careful with that big mouth of yours. Wild cats don't like when mice get away with everything. Tsk, tsk, tsk" Cat Noir clicked his tongue with a smirk, "And you need to ensure nobody recognizes these" He pointed out the bracelets.

"How did you find me?!" Cerise struggled.

"Hmmm....let's say the rats lead me down here. I hate rats to prey on. Let's go, now!" Cat Noir roughly dragged her.

The three saw Cat Noir come out with Cerise. Ryuko glared at her in anger.

Argos smirked to put a Lila wig on her, "Yeah, it's her all right. Classic spy disguises. Very clever to fool everyone in your way but not clever enough. Don't you know when you live a lie, you are refusing to see the truth and instead choosing to believe in a false reality that is more convenient for you? Or the cost of living in a lie will ultimately destroy you?"

"You swapped the butterfly brooch?" Cerise asked.

"Correct. So my uncle has no successor" Argos said.

"He never gets outsmarted because his name means he has eyes everywhere" Cat Noir chuckled.

"But she outsmarted everyone" Ryuko wanted to eliminate her.

"Your grand plan has ended, Lila," Ladybug said.

"And we know that you know Gabriel is Monarch and this sentimonster will compel you and him to reveal the truth to everyone in Paris for what both of you did" Argos glared coldly.

"You wouldn't!" Cerise gasps.

"Try me," Argos said.

Cat Noir also felt worried that Paris believed Adrien was like his father too.

"Kitty, what is it?" Ladybug noticed.

"Uhhh.....this is gonna break Adrien's mental mind if he knew......what his father truly is. Paris is gonna think the son is like his father but he's not" Cat Noir said nervously.

"I hope not" Ladybug held his hand.

A while later, Gabriel wasn't looking very good and had a few days left until the cataclysm spread toward his face. The court was gathered to hear the honest truth about these frauds. Argos calls his sentimonster the Lasso of Truth from his inspiration from Wonder Woman for the victims to compel the truth. If they try to lie, the lasso will overheat them which would be very pointless to resist.

"Now, tell them what you did," Argos said.

Gabriel tried to resist it but it was too great and much more painful than the cataclysmic irritation on his arm, "I did it! I am behind the Akuma plague! I am the terrorist!"

The court was shocked at this.

"I was Hawk Moth, Shadow Moth, and Monarch this whole time!" Gabriel confessed in fear.

"Explain why you were doing this?! Tell them the truth!" Argos demanded.

"I did this to get Ladybug and Cat Noir's miraculous to bring my wife back to life," Gabriel said.

"And what price you would pay to take her place?" Ladybug asked.

"Anyone," Gabriel said.

The court and Paris watching TV gasped at the word 'anyone' which could also mean his son.

"Watch your mouth. Anyone would also mean your son. Ladybug once told me that the price to pay can have serious consequences" Argos puts the lasso on himself to be honest with himself, "When I thought getting rid of people is freedom to give my cousin but the price to pay was my cousin's girlfriend which made me see the errors of the outcome. So I had to undo it, which brought everyone back, including her. I learned my lesson" Argos then puts the lasso around his uncle, "The word 'anyone' would also mean losing your son, idiot!"

Cat Noir excuses himself to transform somewhere so he can have strong confidence and bravery to stand up to his father since he has the willpower and the freedom to be himself instead of being told what to do. He soon returned to the courtroom.

"Aww....look. It's your son. Tell him why you did this out of madness to betray him?" Argos said, knowing how humiliated Gabriel felt.

"Argos, stop. This is torture" Adrien does not feel satisfied or justified at all.

"Son, I did this to grant my wish to bring your mother back....agh.....for myself!" Gabriel is forced to tell the truth.

"Yourself?! To just cure yourself?! You caused too much misery and went as far as murdering your sentimonsters for failing you!" Adrien got angry that he himself was also a sentihuman, "First my mom, then Nathalie, and now you?! How many more personal gains are you gonna try until I'm the next victim of your catastrophe?!"

"Agh!.....As many as it takes!" Gabriel admits his truth.

"So everything you were doing wasn't because of your busy schedule but to akumatize everyone? Including my friends? Nearly almost to the girl I love? Is that why you hired Lila to cause trouble with her lies just to akumatize a victim? I can't believe I was a dumb fool to let you get away with it for too long. As I did nothing to stop you from causing abuse, madness, and evil" Adrien looks away with hurt in his eyes, "Everything you told me was all a lie? Everything you said about the world is dangerous? Is everyone a bad influence? Everything you said was all lies?"

"Yes! AAGH!" Gabriel groaned.

"And you did hire Lila to spy on me so you can ruin my life and happiness? You did tell Lila to frame Marinette to get her expelled so you can akumatize her?" Adrien asked, not realizing his father would do something beyond evil.

"Yes, I did" Gabriel admitted.

Ladybug gasps in court and so does everyone else.

"So you don't acknowledge or accept my love life with the girl I love? And you call me being overreacting? You're the one who overreacted and made me leave Marinette to talk to you? So you can fill her head with lies?" Adrien asked.

"Of course, she's not meant to be with you," Gabriel said.

"Unbelievable. You have no right to give me or anyone decisions like you own them! You never give anyone else a chance just like you never give me a chance for my own happiness" Adrien goes and sits next to Amelie.

"Gabriel Agreste, as punishment for your crimes, you'll no longer have custody of Adrien," The judge said.

"Like I said, Gabriel. You may have let Lila, Tomao, Audrey, and every bad person into your life but you never let nice people like my aunt, my girlfriend, my friends, or anyone innocent into your cold dark heart and demented mind. Not even me because I'm too much like my mother. I don't think my mother would be proud of herself to fall in love with a madman" Adrien said.

"You're right! I'm not actually Gabriel Agreste! I am Gabi Grassette!" Gabriel was forced by the lasso of truth to compel him what his real name was.

"WHAT?!" Adrien was shocked, "So there never was any Agreste?!"

Everyone was shocked to hear that this man had a false name but his real former name. Argos threw the other end of the lasso at Lila if she knew this all along.

"I knew about it. I used Nathalie to take pictures of the secret files of his past" Cerise said.

"You what?" Gabriel exclaimed.

"That's right, I did it while akumatized," Cerise said.

"As what exactly?" Ladybug glared.

"Hoaxer!" Cerise hated telling the honest truth.

"The day I replaced you with Kagami?" Gabriel can't believe he trusted a liar.

"Yeah, big mistake to throw me out just like you always do to everyone that isn't good enough!" Cerise glared at him.

"You traitor!" Gabriel yelled.

"You betrayed me first!" Cerise yelled back.

"Lila, tell everyone who you really are" Argos removed the wig to show everyone she never did any of those things like saving Jagged Stone's cat, which was a big lie since he's allergic to cats.

"My name's Cerise" Cerise said.

"And why do you lie to everyone when you are aware of it?" Argos asked.

"Because I like deception to manipulate everyone to get what I want. I don't care who I hurt! Even if those who see me as a liar, I frame them" Cerise tells the truth.

"Like you did to my girlfriend!" Adrien said.

"She saw through my lies so I had to act!" Cerise said.

"Even I saw through your lies and yet you couldn't do anything to humiliate me because of my father?" Adrien asked.

"Yes," Cerise said.

"Cerise, you're hereby sentenced to juvenile prison for being Gabi's accomplice," The judge said.

"I can't believe you would do this to bring mother back! By terrorizing innocent people to be forced to live with a traumatic nightmare? That is madness and chaos, not out of love! You had me and Nathalie to help you move on but you shut us out! You shut the world out!" Adrien sobs in anger for what his father did was very inhuman.

"The sentence has been decided. Adrien has Amelie as his guardian from now on. And as for Gabi, he'll spend his last days in prison" The Judge said, "Take them away" He told the guards to take Cerise and Gabriel away.

Adrien was too upset to ever have an evil father who grieved into madness because of losing his wife instead of taking responsibility as a single parent to care for Adrien.

"Adrien..." Amelie said.

"Just don't. First, my father abused me this whole time and now my cousin made a fool out of me just to create my father as a bigger monster. What kind of family do I have?" Adrien takes his leave to head home on his own.

One month later, Adrien has somewhat recovered after his father's demise thanks to his friends and Marinette but he still cannot accept the fact that his father caused every madness and chaos in Paris just to bring his wife back instead of letting her be at peace. His mother was also given a proper funeral after her casket was found. But since the event, he hardly has been Cat Noir. His cousin gave him some space since he did return the amok ring to Gabriel before making the trade which resulted in betrayal. And he too barely was Argos out of guilt despite being forgiven a month ago. Ladybug was out swinging on her own in the snowy weather, towards the graveyard to look at Emilie's grave. She took out a rose and laid it there.

"Emilie, if only you could see how much your son has been through with your late husband. I really wish I could have met you in person" Ladybug said, sad that she never met her future mother-in-law.

She got on her knees, placing her hand on her grave. Unaware Adrien was heading for the grave to visit his mother.

"Ladybug?"
