Adrien was having dinner in the kitchen with Nathalie and his father, barely saying anything until Gabriel spoke but Adrien was not in the mood to talk to him.

"I expect you to be a true Agreste, Adrien. It's time you stop letting your friends fill your head with nonsense" Gabriel tries to control him but Adrien fights the strange feeling like he's fighting it to be himself.

"That's what you care about? Instead of letting me decide my future, you want me as your trophy? No Father, I never had a good life with you. All you care about is perfection. I don't mean to bring up Mom but she wanted me to be free and build my own happiness, not by your pace. I'm not you the same way you're not me" Adrien felt like he lost his appetite and decided to head to his bedroom, "I barely remember what it's like to have my real father who understands me" He leaves the kitchen.

"You are being too hard on him. He's gonna hate you for it. Emilie was the only parent to watch him grow up, except you" Nathalie said.

"I don't have much time left. Without the wish to restore her, he'll have no one" Gabriel said.

"He had us all along, Gabriel. He had me and you. That's what Emilie said in the recordings but you stubbornly refused to promise her" Nathalie said, knowing he ruined everything for himself.

"She deserves better than what she wanted!" Gabriel said.

"How could you even say that? This is not what she wanted! Controlling Adrien's life!" Nathalie scolded him.

"He's not a human!" Gabriel yelled.

"Emilie raised him to be more human, you fool!" Nathalie hits him in the back of his head, "All you care about is perfection and the cost is losing your son!"

Gabriel groaned at the hit as he got up, never realizing that she could still hit hard in her condition.

"If anyone's a monster, it's you!" Nathalie said.

"How dare you?! And it was you who broke my control over him, was it?!" Gabriel asked her.

"He deserves free will! "I'm sick of your madness corrupting you! That's another reason why you constantly fail at everything because you are not doing this for Emilie, you're only doing this for your fake life that is not even your real life! At least I have a conscience to care for Adrien, you don't!" Nathalie glared at him.

"I care for Adrien's safety! That's why I don't want him around his pathetic friends messing with his mind!" Gabriel said.

"You're isolating him! They make him happy!" Nathalie proves him wrong again, "You also don't respect life. Just like you reforged the miraculous into technology rings when you should know technology is not magic! Technology doesn't last, only ancient magic can!" Nathalie knows what he did to the miraculous except the butterfly miraculous, "If you did reforge the rabbit miraculous, it will cause a chain reaction with past, present, and future!"

Gabriel then had nothing more to say. He hated women being so stubborn and smarter than men.

"Exactly! You never wanted everything to be perfect, you just hate things the way they are. Just like you hate Adrien being himself" Nathalie said.

With Cat Noir, he was patrolling on his own. He doesn't understand how he can stand up against his father when he's always obedient to him. He had no idea it was the ring given to him by Nathalie. His parents never told him he was a sentimonster hybrid human because his mother wanted him to grow as a human rather than know the truth. But instead, he's treated as a puppet by Gabriel.

"No Akuma in sight," He said.

"Hey, kitty" Ladybug spooked him.

"GAAAAH!!!" Cat Noir leaped up in fright and landed a few feet away. Jumping around like crazy from his heart attack before calming down, "Jeez, what the hell, man?"

"Oops, did I spook you?" Ladybug laughed a little that he was super jumpy like an actual cat jumping around when something scares them.

"Seriously, Ladybug. You scared me good" Cat Noir said.

"And I thought cats are good at lurking around" Ladybug teased.

"You know my moves, milady" Cat Noir said.

"Mmhmm. And you're still a poser" Ladybug chuckled.

"I know, Bugaboo" Cat Noir said.

"You're always such a poser every time you do that when you fight," Ladybug said.

"Like this pose?" Cat Noir posed like Black Widow.

"Yeah, that pose, cat poser," Ladybug said.

"I'm not always a poser, milady. I pose when I land on my feet" Cat Noir said.

"I know that," Ladybug said.

Pigeons were everywhere in the sky and they guessed in Mr. Pigeon for the 75th time.

"Aw come on! It's the seventy-fifth time!" Cat Noir complained.

"It's not his fault! It's Monarch's twisted schemes to take advantage of people's vulnerability!" Ladybug said.

"Clearly that old man is out of ideas," Cat Noir said.

"As in desperate to get our miraculous like he stole from me" Ladybug swung her yo-yo.

"Well, he's not getting it again!" Cat Noir rushed into battle.

"Instead, he should come out and talk to us rather than let his madness get him killed!" Ladybug said.

"Agreed!" They came close to Mr. Pigeon.

With the miraculous of the Rooster that grants any superpower. If Ladybug or Cat Noir hits his pigeons, it will create a duplicate of them.

"Oh grea-AACHOO!" Cat Noir sneezed.

"Get it together, Cat!" Ladybug said.

"I'm trying!" Cat Noir wipes his nose.

"Okay, lucky charm!" She summoned her lucky charm and caught it.

"I got this!" Cat Noir whacks one pigeon and it turns into a duplicate of him, cooing like a bird, "Oh boy" He couldn't believe what he saw.

Ladybug did the same thing by whacking 3 pigeons, they turned into duplicates of her. They all made pigeon sounds rather than talking.

"Okay, this is getting weirder!" Cat Noir moved out of the way, bad idea to hit the birds.

"No kidding, Kitty!" Ladybug said.

"Best if we find that birdbrain before I start eating his birds," Cat Noir said, despite his allergies.

"Okay, what can my lucky charm do?" Ladybug opens the package, "Birdseeds?"

"Too easy as always," Cat Noir said.

She looks at the pigeons and their doubles, "Of course. We need them to bump into each other!" Ladybug figured it out and spread the bird seeds everywhere. The pigeons and the duplicates all flew towards the seeds to peck them up.

"It's working!" Cat Noir said.

"You pests are so gonna regret abusing my beloved pigeons!" Mr. Pigeon riding on his pigeons.

"You're going down as always, birdbrain!" Cat Noir extends his staff.

"We told you to not let Monarch take advantage of you!" Ladybug said.

"Nobody should harm my babies!" Mr. Pigeon said but Cat Noir pounced at him after extending his staff.

"Those babies are not your babies they are supposed to be! If you care about them, Monarch should be the one to care how you feel about them but he doesn't! He's using you!" Cat Noir yelled.

"Don't listen to that Cat! He just hates your birds!" The telepathy mask appeared on his face.

"CATACLYSM!" Cat Noir reached for the akumatized object.

Ladybug catches the Akuma, purifying it, and does her miraculous Ladybug to repair the damage. Of course, the heroes simply took off since it's always the same thing with Mr. Ramier

"This is getting old, Bugaboo" Cat Noir said.

"No, Monarch is the one repeating everything and fails," Ladybug said.

"His victims don't have the same miraculous obsession as him. That's why they fail as he does" Cat Noir said.

"Indeed," Ladybug said.

"But seriously, this has to stop. It's been 9 months and we still win every day and every night. Obviously, the cataclysm is scaring the hell out of him too much to go insane" Cat Noir said.

"Yeah, we must find him and end it," Ladybug said.

"Until the cataclysm kills him first," Cat Noir said.

"Yeah," Ladybug nodded.

Gabriel failed again and the cataclysm on his chest area had already caused his ribs to decay a little, "Hrrrgh! How much time do I have?" He asked.

"Very little until you had to ignore my warning by using the snake miraculous to foolishly increase the effect of the cataclysm" Nathalie glared.

"How much? Days? Weeks?" Gabriel wanted to know.

"Depending on how stupid you are, Gabi" Nathalie coughed hard that her condition was becoming very fatal, "Ever since you became Hawk Moth, you caused the events to become our death wish because of your obsession. You knew Emilie did not want your obsession to get the better of you. First her, then me, and now you are about to be dead!"

"I'm not done yet," Gabriel said.

"But you will be! Your madness has already destroyed everything you wanted. When that time comes, Emilie will be disappointed in you in the afterlife" Nathalie glared angrily.

"I just wanted Emilie back! That's all I wanted!" Gabriel protested.

"You almost had her, Gabi! I told you to make the right choice by going into the past to prevent her from getting sick! But instead, you chose the wrong choice because you can't help yourself with your irrational obsession with Ladybug and Cat Noir! Ladybug had nothing to do with this! I know you very well because you don't even care about the advice I give you! Not even your own son!" Nathalie said.

"I followed your advice on letting Adrien go to school! I gave him what he wanted!" Gabriel said.

"Not everything, Gabriel! Unlike you, I was there for him when I gave him advice on how to love the girl he loves! He's growing up and you missed out on it! If he became an adult, he would no longer listen to you because parents let their children live their own lives" Nathalie said.

"By the time that happens I'll be gone and he'll be an orphan," Gabriel said.

"And I hope he doesn't have to know that his father became a terrorist! From what I see, Adrien means nothing to you anymore. You only see him as a slave to you, just like you only see the kwamis as your slaves. Especially everyone you see as a bad influence!" Nathalie glared.

"I grew up without friends," Gabriel said.

"So did Adrien. Until he learned not to mourn his mother because she would have wanted him to be happy by making new friends! I tried to impress you, hoping you can move on but you always say Emilie is irreplaceable!" Nathalie said.

"Yes! I know!" Gabriel snapped.

"That's what Emilie wanted for you to move on. Everyone does the same when they lose loved ones, they don't try to bring them back. But instead, your greed caused disasters!" Nathalie tries to explain that his actions will only get so much worse to the point that life will always throw something back at him if he doesn't see the outcome.

"And Adrien, he has her eyes and her kindness! Why can't you see that? Or is it because he reminds you of her too much? If you are his father, you should be caring for him but you don't! People out there are not hurting him, it's you that's hurting him"

"It's too late now," Gabriel said.

"If you ever knew how to accept his wishes and dreams. He may not be fully human but he has the biggest heart" Nathalie said.

Gabriel gave a weak sigh. He cannot see it through his corrupted mind. Emilie was a better parent than him and Emilie tried so hard to make him stop going after the miraculous because personal gain can cause disasters in life. But in the end, it consumed him.

Instead of accepting her fate and moving on, he chose not to. Instead of following her promises, he broke them. Instead of letting Adrien be himself and have his own life, he chooses what's best for him by force instead of letting Adrien make his own decisions.

"You are the real bad influence on him. You are the one hiding dark secrets from him. If he finds out on his own, he will never look at you again. He would see you as a monster you already are" Nathalie leaves him.

"Shut up! URGH!" He clutched his chest.

"Life has already punished you, Gabriel" Nathalie left the room.
