Gabriel is losing his son because of Marinette and his friends being supportive of him. He stared at Emilie in her coma that he didn't want to do this but to get his wish to be a family again. The only way to get Adrien to obey is by causing more panic attacks with the ring containing his amok.

"Forgive me, my love. Adrien is forgetting you and I won't let those pathetic kids influence him again" Gabriel said as he became Monarch to use the Rooster power that grants any power. He used the power of pain illusion on the amok ring.

Adrien was still designing in his journal scrapbook to express his life, his feelings for Marinette, and lastly, the photo of him and his mother that he still cherishes the memory of her. Promising her that he won't grieve her disappearance or her presumed death and focus on moving on to find his own happiness and his future.

"AAAGGGHHHH!!!!" Adrien felt massive pain in his chest.

"Kid! Kid! What's wrong?!" Plagg saw his owner looking like he was having chest pain.

"It hurts!" Adrien felt something inside like it was trying to come out of him. Flesh tore from his back as it ripped through his shirt and jacket, forming angel wings made with peacock feathers.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" Adrien screamed more before losing his mind from extreme pain letting out something inside him. His skin became blue and his eyes resembled Argos. His hair became dark blue and it was only a matter of time before he lost his humanity. He smashed through the wall and lost control of himself due to something corrupting his amoktized ring from another.

"ADRIEN NO!!!" Plagg gasped.

Unfortunately, the miraculous boy has let his inner sentimonster out from his human form. It's corrupting the amok and it's making him go savage instead of obeying.

"OH NO!" Plagg quickly removes the ring from his finger.

Nathalie heard loud noises and when she saw Adrien in his full sentimonster form like a peacock holder from his mother. She realized Gabriel did something insane with Adrien's amok to make him go savage. He smashed through another wall, flapping his Angel-like peacock wings out of control.

"Gabriel you fool!" Nathalie said angrily, storming to the lair.

She didn't have time to stop Adrien from hurting himself since he was already in full sentimonster form. She doesn't have the amok to control him. But she has to get it from Monarch before he causes destruction or torments Adrien long enough before he loses control of himself and attacks people. Despite her illness becoming fatal but she can't let his madness hurt Adrien or everyone in Paris. She should've done what Amelie told her at the Diamond Dance about a choice.

"This has gone too far!" She pressed the buttons to the elevator.

She never thought Gabriel would do something cruel and abusive to Adrien and the kwamis. His madness has already made him forget his senses, his conscience, his life, and now his humanity.

"GABRIEL!!!" She shouted once in his lair, "YOUR SON IS GOING OUT IF CONTROL!!! What did you do?!" Nathalie yelled but then the ceiling was smashed and Adrien was screaming in so much misery. Whatever Gabriel did to his amok was nothing like a cataclysm on a sentimonster going out of control.

"RAAAAAAARGH!!!" He roars in pain and strikes Monarch with his wings.

He dodged it and tried to get his son to obey but Adrien was in so much pain he couldn't.

He was beyond control now, "HAAAAAAAGH!!!" He strikes his claw fingers at his chest.

"Agh! Adrien stop!" Monarch commanded him.

Nathalie threw debris at Adrien to stop him from nearly killing Monarch, "HRRRRGH?!" Adrien snarled seeing her.

"Adrien, calm down! You have to resist!" Nathalie begged but Adrien still couldn't listen or be reasoned.

"Adrien! I am your father and you are gonna suffer for disobeying orders from me!" Monarch tries to get Adrien to obey but too much corruption on Adrien's amok is hurting his lifeline and willpower.

"Gabriel stop! You're hurting him!" Nathalie tackled him down to remove the ring.

"What are you doing?!" Monarch gasps.

"Granting him his freedom!" Nathalie roughly removes the ring.

"No! He needs to be taught a lesson!" Monarch tried to use Fetch but Nathalie kicked him in the head to knock him out.

"No, Gabriel! You're only treating him like a slave just like you are doing to the kwamis!" Nathalie said before removing the rooster ring to undo the granting power corrupting Adrien's amok.

Adrien stopped going savage but fell due to so much energy, passing out.

"ADRIEN!!" Nathalie rushed to his aid, "Oh Adrien" She knelt down hugging him.

He was slowly turning back to human form. His peacock Angel wings slowly get pulled back inside his back.

Much later, Adrien woke up in a hospital room without his shirt and jacket since they got torn apart, "Oh god! What happened?"

Wearing nothing but a hospital gown, the IVs attached to his arms for his pulse rate. They hear a conversation going and it sounds like Amelie talking to the agents.

"Hey, cousin" Felix was sitting on his left.

"Agh! Goddamn it! What the hell are you doing here, traitor? Here to switch places with me again? Not happening" Adrien groaned from so much soreness in his body, "Agh!" He can't sit up.

"Calm down. I'm not here to trick you again or like the last time I scared you. Nathalie called me and my mom about what happened. Your father has caused a lot of abuse to you and now she's speaking to the agents about removing Gabriel from the Agreste mansion to have my mom be the only living adult relative to hold the fortune" Felix explained.

"Bullshit" Adrien groaned.

"I'm serious. Your therapist knew that your dad was being abusive to you and your life. It's affecting your mental state because of him" Felix said.

"My mental state? Let's recap, the day I was forced to travel with Lila the liar until someone switched places with me because I thought I could rely on him to tell my father no but then he tricked me and once again, I made a dumbass mistake to trust a trickster behind my back and be stuck in Paris with the biggest monster who has all the miraculous to enslave humanity with his akumas! And here I am in a hospital because I have no memory of what really happened! You're not always yourself nor what it means to do the right thing without betraying everyone, Felix. You'll always have enemies follow your ass everywhere you go" Adrien stares at the ceiling.

"But that all changed when I met your ex. Yes, I regretted it but I had my reasons you wouldn't understand. You're also not yourself too, Adrien. You're always good at letting your father pull your strings. I know you love Marinette so much. That's why I spared her life until I realized that using my miraculous for hatred was a terrible idea. I was being truthful that I never meant to hurt you" Felix said, knowing what he put Adrien through.

"But you did. When Ladybug came to me because she thought I had the dog miraculous but then told her I never had it until we both realized it was you, she freaked out and her yo-yo disappeared. I never seen her panic so much to lose all the miraculous because of you. You did mentally hurt her, not physically. She was forced to go through that trauma. And so did I. Ladybug made a promise to protect Paris but she failed because of you. If only I didn't switch places with you, Ladybug would still have the miraculous to protect" Adrien said before the nurses came in to check his vitals, "Now get out of my sight" Adrien ordered his cousin coldly.

"I know, I was blinded by my hatred. And I don't deserve forgiveness" Felix left.

Gabriel was also being treated but has a warrant for his arrest for child abuse and bad parenting. Doctors discovered his body has necrosis or so they think it is. There was nothing to cure it and his vitals were already decaying, including his heart too.

"How does it look?" One asked a doctor.

"He doesn't have much time left. Maybe days" Said the Doctor.

"Is that why his behavior made him go insane because of that?" One of them asked.

"Yes. Even if he goes to jail it won't last long" The doctor said.

"The kid will officially become an orphan. He has only his aunt and cousin now" The male doctor said.

"Yes. Apparently" Another doctor said.

Felix was in the waiting room with Kagami, feeling all guilt surging through him, and now he felt responsible for his uncle's inevitable death.

"Give Adrien some space. He's been through a lot as I am" Kagami said.

"My sins are unforgivable. I committed theft, identity theft, and genocide I undid as Argos. He'll never forgive me" Felix said.

"The storm to pass. He can't be angry at you forever. But he won't realize what he truly is ever since you told me your story" Kagami said.

"Because his parents never told him. Not even his own father ever told him what he was. He was too young to understand. He was created with love, I was created with jealousy" Felix explained why he's nothing like his cousin because his father Colt treated him badly.

"Not to mention I was just nothing but a monster to my father. He wasn't wrong" Felix said.

"No, he was the real true monster he became himself. But now you're not when you thought of saving me from my mother. You were a dumb moron but you had a lot to learn about physical and emotional, Felix" Kagami said before noticing Marinette in the waiting room looking scared and helpless of her sweet prince in the hospital. She had some flowers in her hand.

Felix was about to reach out but Kagami stopped him, "Let me talk to her" She said.

Felix sighed but then saw someone sneaking into the hospital disguised as a very young doctor, "Yeah, okay" Felix said before following that person trying to make her way in like she had a job coach waiting for her.

Kagami knew that Marinette was worried about Adrien and she should've been there for him but Gabriel became too cruel from ever inviting kids to the mansion.

"Marinette, you can't sulk forever. Adrien needs you" Kagami said.

"I'm scared, Kagami! What if his aunt and cousin will have to care for him in London? He'll have no friends in London! He won't have me!" Marinette went into panic mode again.

"He won't. They'll move here" Kagami said.

"Adrien will still be miserable to live with the trauma that he is now losing his father" Marinette sobs.

"I'm sorry, Marinette" Kagami hugs her.

"How can Gabriel be so cruel to him? It's like he hates me giving Adrien happiness" Marinette sobs.

"We might never know," Kagami said.

Felix was glad he created a new version of Optigami and the amok was in his phone so it could record everything through its eyes. He growled angrily that this mysterious girl in disguise as a doctor was making a lot of lies to the doctors just to sneak by. She was heading to the room where Gabriel was.

"Okay Optigami, do your duty" He whispered to it.

It flew to blend in through the heart monitor while its eyes were still there. Felix had to pretend he's visiting his uncle just to observe this disguised girl at what she was up to.

"Here goes nothing" He straightens his tie and walks in, "Excuse me but I was supposed to check on my uncle. Do you know what's wrong with him?" Felix asked, pretending he doesn't know but what he did know was that his uncle was suffering from the spread of necrosis on his body which is actually a cataclysm destroying everything in the body.

"Not good I'm afraid. He got internal bleeding and this on him" The strange doctor said.

"Internal bleeding, huh? That's funny. His heart rate looks fine to me" Felix retrieved the real brooch and switched it with a fake one while talking to the strange doctor.

"You're very young and I don't see an ID on you. Care to see what that black stuff is on his chest?" Felix tested her again.

"Oh, um, I forgot it" The doctor was about to excuse herself.

"Doctors never forget their studies. Looks like you're gonna get fired without a Ph.D. or a degree in medical school. Am I right, Lila Rossi?" Felix knows it's her since Kagami told him about the connection between her akumatization twice and Lila talking more about Marinette being a liar. And the other day when he spied on her to manipulate a civilian about Marinette with Adrien that got her 'fired' from Gabriel, Felix put all the puzzle pieces together that this Italian girl likes to lie and manipulate people to do her bidding.

"What?! How did you know?!" Lila gasps.

"The hair is a fake. I can see it's not touching your real scalp. The contacts...." Felix tests her pupillary reflexes with a flashlight from his phone and it reveals her real pupils shrink but not the fake color irises, "Your real pupils shrink but not the contacts. I can see a hint of brown between the fake blue"

Lila had no way to get away with lies so she ran out. Felix saw she managed to take the fake brooch, smirking that it worked and he figured that she was after his uncle's brooch. He guessed that she knew he was Monarch.

"No! The brooch!" Gabriel woke up.

"Hey, uncle. It seems your madness has caused you to lose your Adrien. Do you still blame him for your wife's coma the same way my father blamed me for his illness?" Felix glared at his uncle for what he tried to do to his cousin.

"No! I just wanted the miraculous to get her back until he disowned me!" Gabriel said.

"Did you even ask him? Did he want his mother back? Did he want an abusive father telling him what to do? Did he want the happiness you want or are you just using him for your own vision of happiness? After everything you have done to him, he has the right to disown you for what he went through because of you" Felix growled at him.

"No, he just wanted to move on, accepting her fate," Gabriel said.

"That's exactly my point, uncle. You are living in the past, Adrien is not. Do you think you know happiness? You don't even learn anything from Adrien. More like a psycho madness of happiness than a peaceful happiness" Felix leaves the room along with an Optigami flying out with him.

"Felix! Come back here!" Gabriel shouted.

Marinette was still chatting with Kagami, unaware Cerise was nearby.

"Everything I've been through, it was like a nightmare that won't end. Chloe constantly tormented me and Lila framed me to have everyone believe her over me without checking their facts. Face it, Kagami. Me and Adrien's life always get interrupted, no matter how hard we try to be together that you, Luka, and everyone support us" Marinette feels lost without hope in herself.

"Don't give up on yourself Marinette. Adrien needs you" Kagami said.

"I hope he's not too upset with your boyfriend and his father" Marinette gets up to go see him.

"He already talked to Felix and he respectfully left him alone," Kagami said.

"Okay," Marinette saw Adrien barely awake, "Adrien" Marinette held his hand.

"My love," Adrien said, still sore from whatever happened to him.

"I'm sorry whatever happened back there," Marinette said.

"I can't remember what really happened, except this feeling of powerful pain but it was unusual" Adrien tries to sit up carefully.

"But now you're free," Marinette said.

"What do you mean?" Adrien asked.

"Adrien.....Nathalie informed the police that your father.....has a warrant for his arrest. Your therapist tried to warn him but.....he didn't listen. His behavior is endangering your life. I didn't want to say but I couldn't bear to see you being told what to do by your cruel father" Marinette sobs in guilt at failing to be there for him.

"Marinette, it wasn't your fault" Adrien hugs her.

"You were suffering from severe palpitations, Adrien. Your chest was gonna explode but you were lucky that the doctors saved you. It's a miracle that your heart rate is normal now" Marinette stared at the heart monitor.

"Thank goodness. I just hope I'll never see that bastard again" Adrien said.

"Your father or cousin?" Marinette asked.

"M father, he has done more than enough. To me he's dead" Adrien said, revealing he has disowned Gabriel.

"What happened before?" Marinette asked because she wasn't there to witness.

"It was all a painful feeling and then nothing," Adrien said.

"Did he hit you?" Marinette said.

"It felt like I got a blow to the head," Adrien said.

"Oh, Adrien" Marinette rested her head on his chest.

"I'm sorry it took me this long to see that my father has nothing to be proud of me. He may have let bad people like Lila into his life but I don't think he ever let nice people like you, our friends, or anyone into his heart. Not even me to change his mind and heart" Adrien said sadly.

"I don't blame you, Adrien," Marinette said, sniffling.

"But still, that doesn't mean he should see everyone as a bad influence just because he lost my mom. He should've let me help him move on but instead, he shuts me out" Adrien said.

"No parent should do that. My parents accepted my relationship with you" Marinette said.

"Like I'm their future son-in-law, my Mrs. Agreste" Adrien teased.

"Oh Adrien, I love you so much" Marinette kissed him.

"And I love you. My father doesn't deserve to be an Agreste. You were right, I am the descendant of the family, not him. He already did his thing, it's my turn to make my own, not from his pace" Adrien said.

"Yeah," Marinette nodded.
