The next morning, Adrien felt a little drained for an unknown reason. He checks himself in the mirror and saw his skin looking a little pale but he still looks fine.

"What the hell?!" He exclaims in horror.

"Jeez. When was the last time you had a tan? You seem fine" Plagg swallowed his cheese.

"Something's very wrong here" Adrien looks closer.

"Are you breathing?" Plagg asked.

"Yes"

"Are you alive?"

"Yes"

"Are you dead?"

"No" Adrien shook his head.

"Then you're healthy," Plagg said.

"Yeah. But this is gonna be obvious to everyone" Adrien worried.

"Kid, you're healthy like the kitten I like. Have some cheese to feel better" Plagg said.

"Thanks" Adrien took some cheese from Plagg.

He can still hear a heartbeat coming from downstairs. It came from his father, "I'm hearing his heartbeat" Adrien thought.

He got out of his room and heads downstairs as the heartbeat grew louder, "What's going on?" Adrien got more nervous.

He came into the kitchen and took a deep breath to calm down. He sees his father cooking pancakes while Nathalie was glaring at Gabriel.

"Good morning" Adrien greeted with a yawn.

"Slept well, Adrien?" Gabriel asked him.

"I did" Adrien took his seat.

The heartbeat continues again but it's coming from his father. It was driving him crazy as he snatched an apple to eat.

"Adrien, I was hoping you realize that Kagami is perfect for you. You just don't see that the way I do" Gabriel said.

"It's always you and not me. Marinette is the right one and I'm old enough to make decisions!" Adrien replied, "Kagami and I broke up and we decided to remain friends for the record" He added.

"That's just a mistake You two made" Gabriel glared at him.

Adrien felt the urge to smack him but he held down, "It's not a mistake, it was a choice. Love is never controlled"

"Adrien's right" Nathalie agreed.

"Yeah. Like what was like for mother when she got with you?" Adrien asked while having pancakes.

Gabriel didn't say anything but he didn't like it when mentioned about Emilie.

"Marinette is special to me. She loves me for who I am! She was always there for me whenever I'm sad. She always has ways to make me happy" Adrien felt something in his teeth.

"Then prove it you can stay with her for long" Gabriel pretends to give him a chance.

"Stop pretending. You're not even my father. I don't even know why you have me. It's like having me was a big mistake" Adrien said, leaving the kitchen since he felt something in his teeth.

He ran to the bathroom and when he opens his mouth, he saw he has sharp fangs, "OH MY GOD!!!" He screamed.

"Jeez, kid! What's wrong with you?" Plagg came out of his jacket.

"Look at these!" Adrien showed him his fangs.

"Wow, sharp teeth. Just like me" Plagg wasn't surprised.

"Am I really a vampire?!" Adrien freaked out.

He put his hand at the sunlight but nothing happened. Apparently, he didn't like how bright it is outside.

"Seems I'm immune to the sun but sensitive eyes," Adrien said.

"You sure you're not pretending? You always love being in the daylight" Plagg said.

"How am I gonna hide this from Marinette and the others?" Adrien worried.

"Kid, no one is gonna believe that. You can walk in daylight. You look totally badass with it" Plagg said.

"It's a nightmare, Plagg! I think I was bitten! I'm a bloodsucking time bomb!" Adrien hyperventilating too much.

"Kid, breathe! Do not panic!" Plagg said.

Adrien's phone rang and he saw it was a text message from Marinette that she's inviting him to yoga class.

"Well maybe yoga can calm the nerves," Adrien said.

"You are finally gonna see her in yoga like last time!" Plagg flew around in excitement.

"Yeah" Adrien smiled.

"My kitten is finally becoming the big cat" Plagg hides in his jacket.

At the yoga class, Marinette waited patiently for Adrien. Lila and Chloe are also waiting for Adrien too but Marinette hated that they don't give up. Sabrina was looking lonely and could not do anything to satisfy Chloe.

"Any minute now" Marinette looks at the clock.

"Girl, calm down. You know he loves you. He's probably taking his time" Alya said.

"Yeah. I know, Alya" Marinette said.

Just as they said that, Adrien came in. This time he came with sunglasses which was unusual but he removed them once he was inside the building. Chloe gave a tackle hug which made Adrien uncomfortable.

"ADRIKINS!" She tried to kiss him but he pushed her off.

"That's enough, Chloe. Respect my personal space" Adrien really had enough of her, "You made it clear that I'm Adri-nothing" He walked passed her and hugs Marinette.

"My prince" Marinette hugs back.

"Ready for this my princess?" Adrien asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be. We are so gonna get in a trance" Marinette scratched his chin.

"Yeah" Adrien chuckled.

"Utterly ridiculous!" scoffed Chloe.

Adrien felt his lover's heartbeat but he decided to just stay calm and focus on yoga with her. So they went into the room with the others prepared. He was scared to think he'll have a terrible craving for blood to sink his teeth into. They sat down on the carpets as they began.

"Everyone, take each other's hands, feel the connection with energy flowing through you" Miss Bustier instructed.

Adrien held Marinette's hands. He felt her pulse was relaxed.

"Feeling calm, my prince?" Marinette opened one eye.

"I do, very calm" Adrien whispered.

"Is your mind in a different world?" Marinette asked while holding his hands.

"A new world" Adrien whispered.

"A beautiful world of freedom away from hell?" Marinette guessed.

"Yes, all peace and quiet" Adrien nodded.

After calming down, they did yoga stretches and a few partner sync stretches. They did some plow poses, by bending back with their feet touching the floor. Then they did the tree pose by standing on one leg with the other foot touching the knee and hands up.

Adrien can still hear steady heartbeats from his friends and his fangs are so wanting to bite, "No, no, no, no!" He thought as he made more poses, "Deep, breaths. Deep breaths" He breathes in and out to calm down and felt his fangs shrink a little.

"Adrien, you okay?" Nino noticed him whisper.

"Yeah, totally and utterly okay" Adrien chuckled nervously.

"Good" Nino nods understandably.

Adrien couldn't help but notice his lover in the cobra pose, "Nino? Does being in love really change a life?" Adrien asked, doing a cat pose.

"Of course. It does change one's life for the better" Nino said.

"So my father is wrong about love. I can't believe he would try to manipulate me" Adrien said.

"He doesn't know a thing about true love. You never force someone to love" Nino nodded.

After yoga class was over, Adrien heads to the boys' bathroom to make sure there were no side effects happening.

He looks at his fangs and they were now normal sized, "That was close revealing"

"I don't understand. You can walk in daylight without burning up and now you have fangs? What if you're an evolved vampire?" Plagg said.

"I guess. I need some patrolling as Cat Noir later to clear my head" Adrien said.

"Clearly you do," Plagg said.

His stomach growled and this time it wasn't just a food craving, it was something else, "I need to get out now!" Adrien ran out of the school.

He couldn't help himself from the extreme hunger but he had to calm down before he loses his mind. He ran into the alley and panted heavily that this was scaring him too much.

"What is happening to me?!" He looks at his own hands and then noticed a rat nearby.

"Kid, get it together! You're a cat, not a bat!" Plagg begging him.

Adrien couldn't help It and his fangs unsheathed, hissing hungrily as he jumped on the rat. He snaps the rodent's neck and drank it's blood.

"Kid! What are you doing?!" Plagg screamed but Adrien was enjoying this to calm his stomach down.

Soon enough he tossed the rat aside, "That.....should....do it" Adrien panted.

"That was terrifying but are you focused?" Plagg looks at him in the eyes.

"No, I can't believe I just drank blood!" Adrien wipes his mouth.

So much blood on his collar jacket and hands, it scared him, "This is no good" He took his jacket off since there was blood on it, "I need to get home. Now!" Adrien walks out of the alley and heads home.

Once there he hurried to his room. He needed water to cool down as he poured water into his cup from the sink. So he drank it to calm himself down.

"I cannot drink blood again. Felix must have done something to me" Adrien looks at his reflection.

"Are you sure?" Plagg asked.

"It's gotta be. He must have created a sentimonster vampire or something" Adrien looked at his reflection, scared that it will disappear.

"Perhaps to make a bonus to your powers so you can escape your father. After all, he can't free you but you can free yourself" Plagg said.
