The beginning
She sat on the edge of the curb, crying her eyes out in the rain. It was dark, but her beauty was never hidden. Her long brown hair glistened underneath the light of the street lamp. Her bright green eyes and freckles hidden by her hands. Her sand colored skin had been nearly touched by the rain. Her lovely yellow sweater, blue jeans, and colorful sneakers were soaked by the storming water. But she didn't care. Still, she sat there, crying in the rain. Footsteps could be heard walking up to her. But she didn't move. A man with black hair and a suit sat next to her, holding the umbrella she dropped when she ran from him.
"I'm sorry." He said.
She didn't speak. She just sat there, in the rain and cried.
"Look, I understand what I did was wrong. But please you've got to understand that I did it for us." He said.
She stood up. Make-up running down her face.
"You sold my great grandmother's necklace. That was important to me and my family." She screamed in anger, "I'll never forgive you for that." She grabbed the umbrella out of his hand and stomped down the street. Nearly seconds after, the umbrella flew out of her hands. She didn't know where she was or where she was going, she just kept walking.
"Why did he have to do this." She said.
Her phone was soaked completely. She had no-one to call. No-one to pick her up. She was entirely lost. But, still she walked down the street. The thunder grew louder. As scared as she was, she continued walking. A car could be heard behind her. But she still kept walking. The car pulled beside her and the window rolled down.
"Rosie, get in the car." A man pleaded.
She ignored him and kept walking. The man had sky blue hair, a hoodie, and jeans on. No shoes.
"Rosie, please get in the car." He pleaded.
She ignored him and kept walking. The car pulled infront of her. The man got out of the car and stood infront of her, put his hands on both of her shoulders and said, "Rosie, I know you're hurt, but you can't just ignore people like that. Please just get in the car." She nodded and got in the front seat of the car.
"He did it." She said. "He actually fucking did it."
The man looked at her.
"Watch your language." He made a u-turn and headed towards the highway.
"I can't believe that he actually did it. I told him how precious that necklace was to me and he goes and sells it." She said.
"I understand that. But there's something deeper that's going on. Isn't there?" He said.
"Shiroya, there's nothing else going on between me and him."
"Are you sure?"
She looked down at the floor board in guilt and fear. Shiroya pulled to the side of the road.
"Rosie what did he do to you?" He said with a serious tone. She began to cry again. Shiroya became angry.
"Rosie, tell me what he did to you. Now!" He said furiously. In tears she pulled up one if the sleeves of her shirt to reveal bruise marks and cuts. Shiroya became even more furious.
"You're staying at my house" he said. "Tomarrow I will deal with him for you."
"No Shiroya!" She said fearfully, "He's only going to hurt you! Physically! Stay away from him!" She pleaded.
He ignored her warning and drove her to his house.
