Everen bid her goodbye to the adventurer Midoriya then decided to head home thanking Rina for the arrows and sighed looking at the sky turning from a bright blue to shades of orange, hot pink, and indigo. She watched as the mop of green hair began heading the other direction shrugging off the barren presence that now resided.
As Home had come into sight, Everen's eyes inspected the dirt path that had allotted itself towards her home.
"Goddamnit, I hope I have everything".
She said looking at herself in annoyance due to the pickpockets in town.
"EVEREN YOU'RE BACK!!"
she tiredly sighed looking at the stupid blond who opened her apartment door.
"I am glad he is here but annoyed at his personality."
Everen thought an annoyed face plastered onto her.
"He truly was annoying and yet he wanted to come along because of my good-hearted nature."
I looked at Kaminari getting in and slamming the door shut. Kaminari smiled and gave me a big hug.
"EVEREN I missed you."
He said flirtatiously. I rolled my eyes and hugged him back with hover hands making him kinda sad. I looked at him coldly.
" We are going to have to eat and go to sleep, we have an early rise tomorrow you idiotic bard." "AH, you're as cold as ever."
Kaminari looked at her quizzically.
"Can we share the bed please you have nothing else to really sleep on?"
He was right. She only had a bed and some storage which was there beforehand.
"Fine but let's eat first. I am starving."
Everen held up a rabbit she had caught before meeting Kaminari in her backpack.
"Wait for a bit."
Everen cut up the rabbit and began using a flame and brick oven in order to cook the food. It was passable but she wished for better quality vegetables than what she picked up from the market. When she finished creating a dish of rabbit stew Kaminari smiled.
"Looks delicious."
Of course, due to lack of spices, it was kind of bland. However, food is food.
"Everen I am ready to go to sleep."
Kaminari said, tilting his head to get a better look at her face. Everen nodded understandingly.
"So am I Denki."
" Wait, did you just call me Denki?"
"I did indeed."
Everen smiled at him happily. He picked her up and spun her around.
"Woah there flirty I can't tolerate this hands-off."
"Oh sorry"
Everen looked over at Kaminari.
"Come on I am tired, let's go to bed."
Everen began changing into some night clothes that she had kept. Kaminari blushed and turned away. As much as he wanted to take a peek this wasn't really his style. He closed his eyes tight. After Everen was done changing he stripped himself of his day clothes and changed into something from his bags. He then turned around when he was done he walked over the barren apartment then laid himself down. He felt a sink in the bed shortly after him.
It was pitch black now the night and moon peeking its way through a windowpane surrounded by worn bricks. Kaminari stared up at it when he finally heard soft breathing and felt a hug around his body. He blushed looking behind him to see Everen fast asleep. He smiled.
"Man, she goes out like a light."
The night passed silently and pleasantly as they both drifted off into slumber, awaiting the morning rays preparing to hit. Everen began to feel the cold morning air of spring as it had awoken her. She blinked, realizing she was in a very suggestive position with Kaminari. He was atop of her resting his head on her stomach snoring slightly with their legs intertwined. Kaminari groggily got up and looked around trying to figure out where he was. The realization hit him like bricks. He got up roughly and began to change quickly, realizing he was going to accompany Everen to Ictimiss in order to charm ladies, pick up some valuable items, and "earn" some cash.
Everen smirked as she got ready herself, smiling in the process, finally able to set off from this boring town.
As Kaminari and Everen stocked up on rations, clothes, and weapons they ran into Midoriya and went to the horse stables.
" Y-You!"
Midoriya said, looking at Kaminari in shock.
"Oh Crap, I know him, Everen."
Kaminari was surprised to be met with the plain-looking male again.
"Good he can keep you in check."
Everen stated curtly as she was wary of trusting Kaminari still. They ran to the stables and took some horses.
"You guys ready to go? Who has the map?"
Midoriya smiled.
"I do."
"Okay let's go."
Everen said, trotting off on her horse.
