Kirishima smiled. "Hey Everen I hear you are hungry, so how about you and I go hunting? It should do well and I should be enough help. After all, if we run into trouble I can help by turning into a dragon."
Everen nodded. "Alright, fine."
She scoffed looking at Bakugo. "Can you untie my group mates while we are out? They are my friends and I need them to eat as well."
Everen gave Bakugo a largely annoyed glare as she was pulled out of the cave by Kirishima. Bakugo scoffed and looked away from her.
Kirishima just looked at Everen and gave her a simple smile. "C'mon let's go and get some food."
They went out into the pitch black of night.
"Hey Kirishima was it?" Everen asked curiously.
"Yeah what is it?"
He asked her looking around at the dark trees hidden by the night sky.
"Do you know where our horses went?"
Kirishima suddenly tensed up.
"What... Kirishima, why did you tense up?"
He chuckled nervously. "I um... I ate them." He said looking down.
Everen was shocked. "... YOU DID WHAT?!"
Kirishima sighed. "I ate them. I was hungry as a dragon so I took off the stuff and then ate them."
Everen annoyingly looked at the ground then looked at his exposed stomach.
"My poor horse you will not be in vain."
Kirishima sighed exasperatedly. "At least I got your stuff off of them so I can carry all of that."
He giggled. "Not that you guys had much anyways."
Everen groaned. "We traveled light in order to keep us from getting our panties in a bunch. Then when we need to leave the horse wouldn't be overwhelmed. But... now it is dead... "
Everen stopped her sentence and then looked at his face sadly. "I can't believe you ate my horse."
They traveled more through the forest when Kirishima spotted some shadows move.
"Hey shhh... " He said, shushing Everen.
They were deep in the forest of Evergarden where alleged manticores and cockatrices lived. But they needed food so those were most likely their best bet.
"CLOSE YOUR EYES!!"
Kirishima picked up the scent of a cockatrice then smiled as Everen did as she was told closing her eyes. Kirishima transformed his arm into a dragon claw and struck the cockatrice. Everen heard more than one so she quickly shot some arrows with her crossbow linked onto her arm. Kirishima stood impressed as even in the dark she had struck her targets. She quickly found 2 more cockatrices at the end of her arrows.
"Woah, nice shot. Man, that was hella cool. You didn't even flinch." He exclaimed in amazement.
They quickly bled the animals out and tied them together.
Kirishima decided to cook the animals when they got back to the cave. As they made the decision to walk back to the cave since it was darker. Everen sensed she was at a disadvantage with her sight. Thus more susceptible to getting in trouble with animals or the mountainous and forest terrain.
Kirishima began giving her looks and ended up grabbing her hand so she wouldn't get hurt. Everen shook her hand off of him.
"What do you even want touching me, you darn dragon?"
He looked down. "I was just making sure you wouldn't get hurt."
She made an annoyed sound. "Tch... I will be fine Kirishi-."
"Call me Eijiro." He said sadly.
"I like when people call me Eijiro. It sounds more familiar and I feel more connected to Humanity. I have my faults too." He said, holding his arm nervously.
As the groans of tired out and hungry adventurers came into a louder and more vocal sensation,
Bakugo annoyingly began yelling. "OH SHUT UP I FREED YOU ALL. THE LEAST YOU COULD DO IS BE QUIET!!!"
Shinso cut off Bakugo after that. "Where is our girlie Everen?"
Kaminari panicked as well. Bakugo sighed and stomped over to the dumbass blonde.
"She is with my friend Kirishima."
Bakugo started seething in anger. He looked at the green-haired male sitting there staring at him.
"WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT YOU DUMBFUCK?! ARE YOU DUMB?!"
Midoriya looked at Bakugo and then drew his sword.
"Please refrain from calling me that."
Bakugo was astonished.
"OH! Little boy thinks he is a martyr. Huh! You are wrong! I destroy people and dragons daily. I can take you any damn time I want!"
Shinso got in between them.
"Hey, I don't think you two should fight here."
Midoriya nodded. "Alright, fine. I agree with you. I don't think we should fight with people that are our allies." Midoriya exclaimed, giving Bakugo a wink.
