Swept by silences around her
she sat with her eyes
Set on the skyline
And she saw clusters of stars
Millions of them scattered
Sparkling across the sky
Flickering in darkness like fireflies

She paused to ponder
Over the darkness in her life
They keep glowing despite the gloom, She wonder
Then she saw a fiery spot of light
A shooting star
Ready to fizzle out
As her lips whispered a wish
It made her feel anything is possible

If a falling star
Could grant me a wish
I can be a star too
And find my place
In a lovely constellation
Amidst the beaming moon
To sparkle in heaven forever
And make someone's wish come true
Even in my death...
