Another day came in Castle City as business went as usual for Poppy and her employees as they arrive in Sweet Pop.

"Wow, Justina Butterfly, you're earlier than usual." Poppy complimented her.

"Hehehe! I know, Poppy, dear." Jussy beamed, holding her butterfly handbag, she is wearing a white and pink blouse with butterflies, mint green leggings, earrings, a rainbow beaded anklet, and orange flats. "I always make sure I am on time or a few minutes early. I never like being late for anything."

Poppy, Branch, Jussy, Fuzzbert, Legsly, Smidge, and the other employees started to get to work after putting on their uniforms. Later, they took out the prepped pastries and bake them. After preparing, the cafe is open and all of the customers came in to have breakfast. Rose came in, flying as she is ready for her breakfast before starting her day.

"Hey Poppy, everything looks fine as usual." Rose said.

"Thanks, Rose." Poppy thanked her. "Hey Jussy, have you met Rose? She's our frequent customer, alongside Guy Diamond, Satin and Chenille, Biggie, and Violet."

Jussy was fluttering, placing butterfly cupcakes on display when Rose came in. And when Poppy introduced her, she greeted her with a smile. "Why no, I haven't. It's lovely to meet you, Miss. Rose? A favorite customer, eh?"

"Yeah, I always go here for breakfast if I don't have time to cook it myself." Rose said.

"Sounds fair enough to me, I know the feeling." Jussy nodded, "May I get you a drink, dear?"

"I'll just get tea." Rose answered. "Do you live somewhere?"

"Not too far from here," Jussy told her as she took her drink order, "I just moved here a few weeks ago but I am settling in well."

"That's good, Pop Village Apartments has some vacant flats that my dad is looking tenants for." Poppy said as she had the drink order and Rose's country-style breakfast order brought to the kitchen.

Jussy blinked at what Poppy said. "Oooh, really?" She asked and then thought for a moment. "Hmm...you know, I may keep that in mind and put in an offer. I'm still living with my parents but I would love to have a place of my own soon, not too far from them."

"Okay, take your time." Poppy nodded as Jussy went back to work.

"She's very nice." Rose said.

"And very pretty too." Holly Darlin' added as she came back to the cafe after a day of deliveries from her family's farm.

"Pop Village isn't that far from her parents' apartments, did you check the map?" Poppy asked her.

"Yeah, it's not far from them." Holly answered. "I delivered their order once."

"I really like how she and Cooper went crazy for each other when they first met." Branch sighed. "Like us."

"And me and Chaz." Rose said.

"I hope Flat 08 in Pop Village Apartments is still vacant." Smidge said. "It hasn't been occupied for a year ever since Creek got evicted."

As Jussy got Rose her drink, she overheard the others talking and complimenting me, and she couldn't help but smile. I then raised an eyebrow about what Smidge said Flat No.8 in the Pop Village Apartments and that someone called 'Creek' occupied it before. Jussy wondered who that was, because she hadn't been told about him yet.

During my break, she checked the map, and thankfully, for her, it was not too far from her parents' home at all, so it was a bonus. She sighed dreamily as she marked Cooper's name in the froth of her caramel latte.

That night, Poppy and her dad are talking in their penthouse while having dinner.

"Hey dad, about Flat 08, we met this sprite named Justina Butterfly, she wanted to have a place on her own but is this place too far from her parents' home?" Poppy asked.

"Poppy, why are you asking that?" He asked.

"It's been vacant for a year." She answered.

"Oh right, after Creek was evicted before you opened Sweet Pop." He said. "I got some people who are going to move in and I need to make sure everything must be maintained so that they would move in here."

"That's great, I could tell the Snack Pack to prepare everything in the apartment tomorrow on Saturday because we got tenants tomorrow." Poppy squealed but she sighed as well. "I hope Jussy will be there."

The next day, the Snack Pack did some arrangements for the building. They cleaned the flats that were moved out by some of the former residents, including Cooper while Poppy made sure everything is ready. Finally, a group of mythical beings has arrived.

"Wow, new neighbors." Rose gasped.

"I can't see Jussy anywhere." Poppy said.

"Poppy, everybody wants to see the apartments, get ready." Peppy called out to them.

The Snack Pack started to welcome the would-be tenants of the apartment. Poppy handed out some baked treats that she gave to them as they started exploring the place. They looked at the flats, one by one but nobody wanted to live in Flat 08. Poppy wondered why everybody rejected Flat 08.

"I really don't want to live in that goddamn flat, it had the shitty traces of that traitor." A satyr nodded.

"You mean that bastard, Creek?" Branch asked.

"Yeah, and we mustn't mention him." A pixie nodded.

"We know what he did, my cousin was fucking traumatized by that day when he left us in the storm." A centaur nodded.

"Creek left you all in the storm?" Rose asked them.

"Yeah, he did so that flat is believed to be bad luck." A mermaid nodded as the group went to the other floors to check it out.

Jussy then called as she flew up. "Hiya, dears, so sorry I'm late! There was a delay and I had to wait." She panted.

"It's alright, you're just in time." Poppy said.

"And I notice everybody avoided Flat 08." Branch said.

"How come?" Biggie asked.

"The other newcomers said something that it has bad luck in it." He answered.

"No wonder they avoided the place." Guy shivered as he hugged Tiny in his arms.

"Wait, where's Rose?" Legsly gasped.

Rose went to Flat 08 alone to check if there is something that has bad luck in it. There, she felt a wave of gloominess in the place as her powers felt it.

"I felt some shit here!" Rose gasped. The Snack Pack went inside. They felt a magical aura of gloominess inside it.

"Oooh, my goodness, what in the fairy's name??" Jussy gasped in shock.

"I can feel it but it's not from Creek, it's from something else." Poppy said as she opened all of the cupboards with her wand. Jussy and the Snack Pack searched high and low to see if they can find anything that is causing the gloomy aura in the flat. Branch touched the walls and the floorboards until he felt something beneath the floor. He used his magic to make the boards levitate and there, Rose found something glowing purple. She picked it up, revealing a necklace with a purple crystal on it.

"Creek's necklace, so that is the reason why this fucking flat is full of shit." Rose gasped.

"We aren't experts in this magic, but someone does." Cooper suggested.

At the lobby, they met up with Dante Crescendo, Val Thundershock, Holly Darlin', Lownote Jones, and Synth. Dante is accompanied by a tanned, curvy, plump, cupid with a beauty mark and golden feathered wings. Her light green hair is tied into a curly half-bun with a hairband that has a feather decoration, wears a blue choker with a light blue heart on it, red lipstick, a cream dress with gold shoes.

"Don't put that near me, it's full of bad symphony!" Dante cried.

"Dante, we are asking any of you if you know anything about this." Poppy asked as she showed them Creek's crystal necklace.

"I have seen this necklace before, this is a shadow necklace." The female cupid gasped.

"Please be careful, Minuet Sonata, it's bad luck!" Dante shivered.

"You know?" Rose asked her.

"It's not just him, I saw these necklaces as well in Cuba." Minuet answered. "What we do to make the bad magic go away is to get rid of it is to have it cleansed in any body of water with underwater crystals but we need to make an infusion to cleanse it but I don't remember the ingredients."

"Crystal Lake, that's it." Branch piped up.

Jussy blinked as she listened closely and shivered. She had heard quite a few stories of that certain lake before but I never thought I'd get to see it in person. The Snack Pack and their new friends drove in their vehicles to Crystal Lake. It still looks the same, with the crystals underneath the waters and the merfolk inhabitants. Branch went close to the merfolk and asked them in mermish. They gave him the answers and went back to the water.

"They told me that we just have to permanently drain it is to dip it into the water of crystal lake, infused with cinnamon, sage, green tea, juniper berry seed oil, and white resin." Branch told them. "Good thing I have extra sage branches and white resin with me, just in case."

"I got cinnamon here." Poppy said.

"I got green tea as well." Rose added, taking out a bag of green tea.

"I have juniper berry seed oil too." Chenille said as she took out the bottle of juniper berry seed oil.

"Okay, now all we need is a cauldron to make it." Branch said.

"I got a potionmaking kit with me as well." Jussy said.

"Wow, where did you get that?" Biggie gasped.

"It was given to me by my aunt as a Christmas present last year," Jussy told them, "She thought it might come in handy one day and I thought it was perfect for a situation like this."

"Great, we can start now." Branch said.

Jussy prepared the kit as Branch scooped the water of the crystal lake with a goblet and fill it in the cauldron. Poppy placed some cinnamon, Rose added green tea, Chenille placed some drops of juniper berry seed oil, and Branch and Jussy finally dropped some sage leaves and white resin. The infusion glowed white as Rose took out the box containing the shadow necklace. She opened the box and dropped the necklace into the infusion, causing its powers to be eaten away. The Snack Pack and their friends watched as the necklace is finally cleansed. Finally, its magic is removed, and the cursed flat is finally cleansed. On the day after the incident, the Snack Pack is relieved that everything is now back to normal. Cooper walked into the lobby to see that it is so clean. They also got everything ready for a surprise to welcome the new neighbors.

"Wow, this looks cleaner than before." He said.

"We did pitch in with Mr. Peppy to make sure the new tenants are ready to move in." Biggie said.

"And you won't believe what we found in the abandoned flat, a shadow necklace which used to be owned by Creek before he was evicted from it." Branch smirked.

"But we got rid of it and its curse on the flat." Rose added.

"Now, Flat 08 is ready to have its new tenant." Smidge squealed.

Suddenly, four moving trucks arrived in front of them. They all blinked and stared up at the four moving vans.

"Huh? What's going on now?" Jussy asked out of curiosity as she arrived. They were relieved that they had lifted the curse but now this. What was gonna happen now?

"Jussy, we heard you want to move here so we decided to pitch in." Prince D called out as he popped out of the moving truck.

Her eyes widened when she saw Prince D calling out of the moving truck. "Oooh, my goodness, really? Awww, guys, that's so sweet of you." She beamed gratefully.

"We know you wanted to give you Flat 08 so that you can visit your parents anytime and you can always have us to be there for you." Poppy said.

"After Creek was evicted, things went worse in that place but when you helped us get rid of the gloomy curse, you helped us put the trauma caused by Creek's betrayal behind us." Poppy added.

"What did he do that caused the curse?" Jussy asked them.

"He betrayed Poppy and the others during a storm and flew off." Branch answered.

"We discovered that Creek's betrayal made the necklace's powers corrupt and after he was evicted, he forgot it when it fell into the floorboards." Minuet Sonata added.

"Ugh, I hope no dark magic will ever ruin our happy life." Dante said disgustedly.

"What matters is that everything will be better than ever." Rose said. "The flat is cleansed off dark magic and it will have a new tenant now, our friend Jussy."

They all cheered for her as they had a group hug. Jussy felt honored and delighted that she was to be a new tenant to the flats. But she was more so at the fact that helped my dear new friends lift an awful curse. How could Creek do something as awful as that? Especially to such wonderful people like Poppy and the Snack Pack. She was appalled at the thought of it.

"Awww, darlings...thank-you~ Thank-you all so much..." Jussy beamed as they all cheered for her and they had a group hug.

When they parted from it, she blinked with slightly widened eyes as Cooper came close to her, asking to go on a date with him after she unpack her things. After the hug, Cooper went close to her.

"So, Jussy, do you want to go on a date with me after you unpack your things?" Cooper asked her.

"Oooh, my...Cooper..." She blushed quite rosily, "that's...very sweet of you to ask...sure thing...I would love to, please~" She then nodded with a sweet smile.

"Yes, we can!" Cooper squealed as he and Jussy kissed.

As they celebrate, things are now becoming brighter than before because not only do they have new friends but they know that the Snack Pack will finally face the future with them together.
