In Pop Village Apartments, the Snack Pack are listening in the living room while Poppy reads a book to them. During the story, Smidge interrupted.

"Uhh, Poppy, I think you've fucking gone way too far back." Smidge said as Poppy got too far with her book.

"Oh!!!! You're right." Poppy sighed. "I've been trying to say that it's been weeks since we found out about the other species, you guys. We're no better friends with them than we were then."

"Ohh!!!!" The others gasped.

"I mean, I don't wanna get hysterical here but I'm starting to feel like there are acquaintances." She said.

Everybody gasped in panic.

"Poppy, we all wanna be better friends with the others but they barely know them and their cultures." DJ Suki nodded. "What can we do?"

"I got news for all of you." Rose said as she appeared in Poppy's penthouse. She is wearing a low-waisted purple skirt, a blue tank top, her necklace, earrings, gold bangles, and black knee-high boots. "An old friend of mine will come here all the way from Japan and she's staying here in Castle City because she is going to teach in a dojo nearby!"

"I used to go to that dojo once." Branch piped up.

"Really? Wow, can't wait to meet her." Poppy squealed.

"Yeah, and she can't wait to meet you too." Rose suggested.

"Exactly." Poppy squealed. "I can't wait to meet her."

The next day, Sweet Pop is bustling with work as Poppy, Branch, Smidge, Legsly, Fuzzbert, and the other employees are getting ready for another day serving customers.

Finally, the customers arrived to taste the cafe's menu. Their new employee, a curvy, fair-skinned sprite with jade green butterfly wings, and brown hair in two ponytails, is serving a group of friends.

"You're doing great, Jussy!" Poppy complimented.

"Thanks, I was nervous on the first day but it turned out to be great." The sprite, named Jussy nodded as she served a family of goblins, who are eager to try their order.

"You're welcome, and keep up the good work!" She nodded.

"Wow, Poppy." Branch smiled at her. "She sure loves her work here."

"She got the job after Cooper left." Poppy said. "He still goes here as a regular instead but it changed when they became an item now."

The two looked at Jussy and Cooper, both talking to each other at the soda bar.

"Yup, they are really meant for each other." Poppy smirked.

"Yeah, they are." Branch agreed.

After a second customer got his order, a curvy, centaur with brown skin, large light blue hair styled into a ponytail with two purple striped ties, stepped up. She wears a white top with a ruffle and pink rim that exposes her midriff, and blue denim jeans.

"Howdy, y'all!!!" She shouted.

She walked right up to the front of the cash register to order as Poppy walked right up to her.

"Can I order a vegetarian lasagna and orange juice please?" She asked the cashier.

"Okay, one vegetarian lasagna and orange juice coming right up." The cashier called. Poppy rushed up to meet her.

"Welcome, I'm Poppy and these are my friends." Poppy added. "According to your order, your name is ........"

"Hayley Topsannah a.k.a Holly Darlin' y'all." The earth fairy said. "Poppy, it's so good to meet y'all. Do you have a job opening here? I'm looking for work beyond my family farm."

"We got a space for delivery if you want." She answered. "You could do deliveries in your farm too because that's where we get our ingredients."

"Alright, I can't wait to start tomorrow, WOOO-HOOOO!!!!!!!!!" Holly shouted after she got her order and went to her table.

"Nice to meet you too." Rose said. Then, a pumping, dance-like sound started to come near.

A tanned merman on a wheelchair with various pink-toned dreadlocks held in a neon blue topknot and a purple tail with a pale blue square outline pattern and a line of pink at the end on his tailfins. He is wearing a dark purple tank top with a green heart, and green and pink arm sleeves. He moved his wheelchair to the front to take up his order.

"HEY YO!!! What up everybody!!" He said as he greeted the other customers. "Can I have your country-style breakfast with a clam omelette with seaberry latte."

"Okay, and you must be Antonio Delgado." Poppy said.

"Yes, my friends call me Synth and you must be Poppy." He nodded. "It is so meh-meh-meh-meh-meh to meet you."

While waiting for his order, he chatted with the Snack Pack and Rose. He talked a lot for a merman until he finally got his order.

"Nice to meet you all." Synth answered. "Now, let's PAR-TAY!!!"

"Okay, you're delightful." She answered.

Then, a plump, tan-skinned cupid is next after Synth. He has light pink hair and cheeks, a curled mustache and a goatee, and elegant-shaped wings. The lower part of his hair is tied into a small ponytail, and he wears a black coat with white borders, a formal shirt, a bowtie with a gem, a vest, formal pants, and shoes. His wings have a pink color, which is different from the rest of his Tribe in color.

"Greetings." He said in a posh accent. "Dante Ricci a.k.a Dante Crescendo, royal composer, can I have your fabulous Italian breakfast."

"Sure." Poppy nodded as she got his order. They chatted for a while until he got his order and went to the table.

"Wow, he sure has class." Poppy gasped. "But where is the next customer?"

"Don't worry about that." Cooper said as he sat on the bar stool. "If there's one thing I've learned from my parents..... is that fauns know how to make an entrance."

A chubby, muscular, dark-skinned faun came up next. He has purple and red hair tied in a bun, a purple goatee, and wears golden-framed shades with rose-colored lenses. He also has small studs on his ears. He wears a jacket with a yellow, feathery collar, tangerine shirt, magenta pants with fringes, and shoes.

"Are you Lownote Jones?" Poppy asked with a smile.

"You got that right, baby." He answered with a wink. "Can I have a funky bagel sandwich to go?"

"That voice, you make everything sounds so cool." Smidge said.

"It's because I have long, vocal chords." He answered and explained everything, which made Smidge bored but everybody was impressed by him.

"I'll see you around, baby." He said as he later kissed Rose's hand, which made her giggle more.

"So, that just leaves my old friend from Japan." Rose said. "And I know what her name is, she's......."

Suddenly, a plump, Japanese orc with purple hair with several white streaks, and red eyes with blue sclera arrived in the cafe. Her hair is styled into two pigtails with red hairbands, and she has purple lipstick. She has a purple hoop earring on her left ear, and two red and blue colors on her right, as well as a purple stud. She wears a purple ripped skirt, a black tank top with a red heart and crossbones motif that exposes her belly button, and a black studded belt. She also has black studded bracelets, blue fingerless gloves, a black armband on her left upper arm, black boots, and a purple and red leg warmer on her left leg. She ran up to the front and did a rock pose, which caught Rose's eye.

"Val Thundershock!!!!" She shouted, shocking everybody. "Kon'nichiwa, Rosethorn."

"Kon'nichiwa, Kaminari Tomoe." Rose replied with the same Japanese bow as well. "Welcome, I am so glad you came."

"Wait, wait, wait, glad I came? Rōzu?" Val said. "Orcs don't follow through under commitments."

"She called Rose in Japanese." Satin said.

"What?! No, not at all...I mean..." Poppy stammered.

"We are actually expecting you to be here." Rose said.

"Expecting me to be here." Val said. "Is that it?."

"Oh, yeah I....uh......." Poppy nodded.

"Haha! Just messing with you two." Val smirked at Poppy and Rose. "Or am I? I am NOT MESSING WITH YOU!!! I rocked so hard."

"WHAT?!" Poppy gasped but Rose giggled.

"Same old Val." Rose sighed.

"You two know each other?" She asked her.

"Yeah, been in the same college with her and I went with her to Japan." Rose answered.

"Anyway Rose, let's catch up." Val said after she got her sushi rolls and she took Rose with her to her table, where they talked. The Snack Pack, alongside Rose exchange cellphone numbers with Holly Darlin', Synth, Lownote Jones, Dante Crescendo, and Val. Branch got a text message from Val, who gave him a horns gesture emoji.

"I like her." Branch smirked, admiring Val nearby, who gave him the rock hand gesture while she talks with Rose.

"Poppy, we finally got new buddies, what now?" Smidge asked.

"Now, let's show them the time of their lives." Poppy said.

"Guys, guess what, Val asked me if I could give her and our new friends a sightseeing tour tomorrow." Rose said. Her friends shouted in

"Wow, that's great news!!" Poppy squealed. "I'll tell Violet about it."

After work, they started sightseeing as the paparazzi started following them around. They were protected by the security and royal guards who followed them around. They went shopping, trying out the rides in a theme park, seeing historic sights, and many more. Poppy struggled to make friends with Val but she is hard to understand.

After the sightseeing is over, they came back to Sweet Pop for lunch.

"Hey Popsqueak, you know how to make sushi rolls?" She asked her.

"Um....what?" Poppy stammered.

"You don't know how to make it? I thought you went into culinary school?" Val snickered.

"Yeah, but I haven't done that yet." She sighed.

"It's alright, you already know how to cook the food that your mom used to make but now, it's time to expand." Violet said.

"What do you mean by expand?" Poppy asked her.

"Expand means you have to try something new." She answered.

"There are a lot of recipes to try and make, like how I got used to 2D animation, and when I tried doing 3D, it wasn't so hard as it seems." Rose agreed.

"Thanks Rose." Poppy thanked her

"Sushi rolls, it would be a great addition to the menu." Rose said as she searched the recipe in her cellphone. "To make sushi rolls, we need some fruit, raw fish, rice, and seaweed wrap. We layout the wrap, put cooked rice first, and add the fruit and pieces of raw fish. Roll them up together with a reed mat, slice them, and finally, serve them on a plate with soy sauce and....."

"Wasabi." Val finished.

"I have this extra notebook I haven't touched yet." She said as she took out a notebook with empty pages. "We can write all of the new recipes and try to cook them."

"I got a favorite food back in the USA." Holly piped up. "It's called fried green tomatoes, and I really want to share it with you, if you don't mind."

"You should try Italian shrimp and scallop risotto." Dante suggested.

"I got the perfect dish you could cook for my birthday, Pescado Con Coco." Synth added.

"How about gumbo, I miss my mom's gumbo when I moved here." Lownote piped up. "Can you add it?"

"Aww, thanks for the suggestions but I couldn't understand how to make them." Poppy said.

"Wait, you don't get anything about it?" Val asked. "Oh, I see, just because I am an orc, doesn't mean I am hard to understand."

"Actually, yeah Val." Poppy nodded. "To me, you are."

"Oh, ok. Rock on." She smirked.

"The point is that coming together would be challenging, I was exposed to all of the tribes' cultures when I was in Japan but if you asked me, it was totally worth it." Rose said.

"Coming together gives us a chance to become friends, we learn from each other, and grow into one nation. Different but unified, like...." Poppy stammered.

"Many notes, On'nanoko." Val answered. "Making one beautiful chord."

"You really touched my heart, Val." Rose nodded.

"Yes, that's exactly what I've been trying to say." Poppy said.

"Don't get used to it." Val frowned.

"Okay, what about the rest of you, what do you say?" Rose asked. "Let's share each other's recipes so that we can understand each other."

"Then again, dang y'all." Holly said. "We could all make some great music and food together."

"You got that right, baby." Lownote nodded. "Let's do it."

"TOGETHER!!!!" They all cried as everybody started to party in the cafe. Poppy and the Snack Pack tried to follow the new recipes but with their new friends' help, they are able to know how to cook them. Finally, the new dishes they cooked turned out to be delicious as they all had a very fun lunchtime.

"Well, it is a new beginning here." Poppy said as she tried out a sushi roll that she and Rose made with Val's help.

"Yeah, it really is." Branch agreed.

"And besides, there are lots of recipes to try out." Rose added.

"Rose, Poppy, can we have the old notebooks that you never used? I wanna use all of them." Poppy asked them.

"Sure, you can." Rose answered.

"Yeah, so that you could write them down in each notebook, based on the country of origin." Violet added.

They all continued having lunch with their new friends. It is a new beginning for Sweet Pop.
