Someone Help
Charlotte's POV:
I was reading one of the books I got from Gran one night, when there was a loud crash and a heart-shattering scream.
"Hello? Gran! Something's happened!" I shouted towards my Grandmother's room as I ran downstairs. I gasped when I saw my only friend, Serana Longbottom, bloody, bruised, and barely breathing laying at my feet. She was only wearing a coat the colour of her hair. I knelt down next to her and turned her over.
"Ana? Ana! Come on, Ana. Don't play games with me. Serana!" No matter how much I shook her, she wouldn't wake up.
"Gran! Please! Help! It's Serana! She's hurt!" I shrieked. In seconds, Gran was downstairs next to me.
"Someone has to help her!" I yelled.
"I'll get the Police!" Gran shuffled out of the shop. I picked Serana's head up and placed it on my lap so it was more comfortable.
"Ana, you'll be OK. You're safe now. I won't let you get hurt," I whispered to the unconscious girl, stroking her face lightly. She was only in the robe, no clothing underneath. There were large gashes in her arms, stomach, legs, and face. She had tear marks down her face, which was extremely dirty. What had happened? Had some men attacked and abused her? Knowing Ana like I do, she wouldn't let them touch her without going down with a fight. She moved slowly and let out a singal word.
"Tonks."
I remembered her mentioning a Tonks, at the end of the play. Was Tonks hurt too? What happened to them? Who hurt them? Where's Gran with the Police?
As if answering my question, Gran, a few police men, and some doctors came running in. I had tears running down my face as well as Gran. Ana was my only friend and she was practically a second grandchild to Gran.
The doctors put Ana on a stretcher and carried her out of the shop. One of the Police men walked over to me.
"Do you know anything that happened?" He asked, pulling out a paper and pencil. I couldn't speak. I had no words to say, and no words would come out, even if I had. I shook my head and put my face in my hands.
"I'll leave you and your Grandmother for a second. But I just need one answer. Do you know where she lives?" He put a hand in my shoulder.
"Over-over the hill. Just over the hill. It's the only house there," I managed.
"Thank you ma'am," he nodded at me and left. The other Police Men left at his signal. Gran hugged me as I rubbed my arms.
"What happened?" I whispered mostly to myself.
"I don't know, Lottie. I don't know. Did she say anything?" Gran kept her frigale arms around me.
"Tonks. She said Tonks. Tonks is one of Ana's friends," I muttered, my voice cracking with every word.
"Come, we're going to the Saint Mungo's," Gran grabbed her bag and headed out the door. I followed.
Frank's POV:
"Frank, please help me. I need you.' The voice of my sister rang in my ears. I looked around wildly. That can't be, Serana went to the Hufflepuff's house
Then I remembered, our twin connection thing.
"Mum! Serana's in danger!" I yelled. Mum poked her head out of her study.
"What do you mean?" She frowned.
"Our twin connection, remember? You always said we knew what each other were thinking because of it. Serana said she needed me," I explained, grabbing my wand. Mum ran out of her room and grabbed her wand as well.
"Use your connection thing to find what where she is!" Mum ordered. I closed my eyes.
"She's moving fast. Towards us," I breathed.
"The village," Mum and I said at the same time. The two of us sprinted off towards the village. We got to the bookstore, just in time to see Charlotte and Mrs. Emily walking out. They looked shaken.
"Charlotte!" I called. She turned to me.
"Frank! Thank goodness! Your sister! She's hurt real bad. There's blood everywhere-"
"Where is she?" I gripped Charlotte's shoulders.
"Saint Mungo's. We were just going there. Would you like a lift?"
"Please," I begged. Mrs. Emily, Mum, Charlotte, and I all piled into their small car and headed off to The Hospital.
As soon as we walked in, we could hear screaming.
Lily's POV:
Very loud screams could be heard from Saint Mungo's. I wondered who it was in there that sounded so hurt. The scream was so familiar, yet, I just couldn't place it.
But, suddenly, it hit me.
"Serana," I muttered. I shut my book and ran downstairs.
"Mum, Dad, Petunia, I'm going out!" I yelled before running out the door. I ran as fast as I could to Sev's house. Before I could even knock, Sev opened the door.
"You hear it too?" He asked. I nodded, fear overcoming me. I remembered the day Serana broke her arm. The screams I heard now, were similar to then. Except, these are more heart shattering. The pair of us ran to Saint Mungo's, which, luckily, was in running distance. When we got there, we saw Frank, Charlotte, Mrs. Emily, and Agusta. Charlotte had tears running down her face.
"They won't let us in. She's in too rough a condition." She sobbed. I didn't care. I pushed past the small crowd. Many doctors tried to stop me, but Serana was my best friend. I followed the screams. I came to a room where the screams seemed loudest.
I looked through the window. The sight was horrific. My best friend was bloody (and still bleeding). I swear, she was cut in so many places that she hardly looked recognizable. Her hair was redder then usual. Blood was making it stick to her face. She was thrashing around wildly, and shrieking. Many a doctor was trying to hold her down, except it didn't work. I brought my hand to my mouth.
"Serana! Serana!" I yelled, banging on the door, "Let me in! Let me see her!"
"Ma'am, we can't let you go I'm there, she's too dangerous," one of the doctors said.
"Dangerous? She's my nest friend for crying out loud! Serana!" I turned back to the door. I grabbed the handle, by the.doctor dude pulled my hand away.
"Get off me! Serana! Serana!" I screamed, trying to get out of the guy's grasp as he pulled me away.
"Lily? I rd screaming from my house. What's wrong?" It was Jinxy.
"Something's...something's happened to Serana. They won't let me in!" I struggle harder.
"What's happened?" She rushed to the door. I could see her body tense.
"You have let us in there. We can help!" She grabbed the handle of the door and pulled it open. The doctor's grip loosened, so I broke free and ran in as well. Serana was still screaming when we got inside, but as soon as she saw us, she body calmed down. Her screams lowered until they were no more, and her body just lay still.
"You girls shouldn't be here-"
"Oh, shut up!" I snapped. Jinxy and I ran to Serana's side. That's when the true power of her pain hit me. She had cuts, all along her stomach and partly on her back. Her head was bleeding, and there was a gash on her cheek and leg. She was wearing only her...robe.
Serana had turned into her Wolf form! Either something happened, and she got mad, or she got mad, and something happened.
"Rani?" I whispered. Her body was still and he eyes closed.
"Is she going be OK?" I asked one of the doctors.
"We don't know. It might be trauma that's causing this action, but we must keep her stable, just long enough to patch her up. Jinxy was sobbing behind me. Tears formed in my eyes as I grabbed my friend's cold and bloody hand.
Serana started twitching. Just her head, going back and forth, like she was trying to get away from something.
"Tonks!" She screamed and sat up.
Normal POV:
I sat up, panting. I looked around. Where am I? I saw Lily and Ellie, and I could no longer keep in the tears. I started to sob.
"Hey, shh. Shh. You'll be OK, You'll be OK," Lils hugged me and rubbed my bloody back. Nice friend, isn't she? I shook my head. I opened my mouth, to speak, but no words came out.
"You need to eat Miss Longbottom," a doctor told me. I nodded and laid pack in my bed. They handed me a salad, which I ate slowly.
"We'll stay with you," Lils smiled at me. Jinxy, who was crying really hard, smiled as well. I nodded again. Many footsteps could be heard, and they all ended up in my room. First, was Frank and Mum,both of whom had tears streaks down their faces. Then there was Charolette and Emily. They smiled at me. There was also, Sev, Remus, Narcissa, Ted, 'Dromeda, Reg, Alice, Marlene, and someone I didn't except, Sirius. Tears filled my eyes.
' These people care about me,' I thought. My eyes averted to Ted and 'Dromeda. I shook my head. I didn't know if it was a shameful gesture, for leaving me alone, or to tell them Tonks didn't make it. Either way, 'Dromeda started wailing.
"I'm sorry, Rain! I didn't want to leave you! Ted was going to take me somewhere safe, then come back for you," she cried.
"When I got back, those men were dead, and you were gone," Ted said. I lowered my gaze.
"What happened there, at the house?" Lils asked. Ted and 'Dromeda explained the whole story, while I just stared at the salad I was never going to finish.
