His lungs burnt.

His breathing was becoming heavy but his feet dare not stop anywhere. The dark hallways of that cruel palace were ready to swallow him whole at any time. And the noises of the following guards filled the place.

"Grab him!!", One of them roared as almost 6-7 guards tried to lessen the gap between them and the running boy.

Jimin found a small doorway on the left made for the purpose of secret passageways during emergency situations. He didn't waste any time to enter the narrow passage and started running wherever it was leading.

And he was right. The path lead towards secret getaway. He was out from the southern side of the Palace which were connected to the dense forest.

But that wasn't what he was planning. He needed to find his Kai hyung first. He cannot leave like that. He tried finding another way to get in when a guard caught him sneaking in. And without a warning he pounced on the small boy who was caught off guard.

"Leave me please...", Jimin cried out trying to make a deal. But the buff guard chained him without any mercy ready to take him to the king.

"Please mister. Don't take me there. Please!!"

"Shut up bitch!!", The guard snarled and landed a harsh slap on his delicate face which didn't take longer to form a bruise.

Jimin cried even more looking at the guard a little scared. He grabbed Jimin with his shirt which was already torn to some places and made him stand. In annoyance he raised his hand to hit him again.

But not even a moment later the guard was thrown to the ground with a dagger piercing his fatal point on stomach.

"You bitch!! How dare you raise your hand on my brother!!!"

Jimin was surprised to see Yugyeom standing there with a boot knife in one hand holding a protective stance over him.

"Yug-gyeom hyu-"

"We don't time for that Jiminie... Come on we have to get out of here.", Yugyeom said tucking the knife safely in his waist belt and lifting Jimin up.

"B-but Kai hyung..."

"I have already took him to a safe place. Hurry up. He must be waiting...", He started leading through the dense forest while keeping guard if anyone was following them.

On a little distance there was Kai standing near one of the horses they managed to steal from the palace stable.

"Hyung!!!", Jimin screamed as he hugged Kai who engulfed Jimin in his embrace tightly lifting his tiny frame up from his feat.

"Are you okay hyung!?", Jimin asked caressing Kai's head as endless tears flowed from his eyes. There was still dried up blood on his head he couldn't care less.

"I'm fine and this is nothing new for me Minnie. You see I'm a hard head...", Kai said puffing up his chest making a joke in that situation too only to make his little brother laugh to which Jimin giggled. Yugyeom smiled softly at the duo.

"There they are!!"

A scream was heard 7-8 guards were all ready to catch them. And the ones leading them were no other than Jungkook and Taehyung.

Jimin had never despised them so much.

They snarled the orders viciously before making way on their horses towards them quickly even through the dense trees. Kai didn't waste any time to pick Jimin up and sit him on the horse and sitting behind him while Yugyeom boarded the other one.

Kai and Yugyeom seemed to know the path well and that's why they were successful in leaving the guards behind. Jimin had clutched the saddle's handle tightly while they were making way towards God knows where.

They had reached at the base of steep slope of a mountain. Jimin couldn't understand how Kai and Yugyeom moving so fast even though only the dim light from the moon was available. They decided to leave the horses and started climbing the slope.

Jimin never had experienced such thing and it looked dangerous. But he didn't ask anything rather he just kept following his hyungs. They knew very well what they were doing.

"Oh no... The moon's disappearing. What a good timing for such a curse.", Yugyeom grunted.

Jimin looked at the moon which was slowly escaping from it's glory into an eclipse. It didn't look good. It was said to be a bad sign if the Moon disappears before it's time.

He suddenly remembered the night 100 years ago when Taehyung had betrayed him and he was given a death sentence. That time too... Moon had disappeared into the eclipse. When he was taken to be hanged, he had suddenly returned to the cave back to being the stone statue.

His breath quickened from fright. Is it going to happen again?

Jimin's string of thoughts was broken when he heard Yugyeom shriek in pain.

Kai and him both turned around to see that Jungkook and Taehyung were not that far from them and Yugyeom was writhing from pain as an arrow had pierced his ankle.

"Yugyeom!!"

"Hyung!!"

Both turned towards their partner but Kai held Jimin's hand stopping him. Jimin gave him a confused look.

"You proceed climbing. I will come with Yugyeom."

"But hyung they're not that far. I can't leave-", Jimin tried to protest but Kai's face was dead serious. Yugyeom silently nodded in agreement trying to convince Jimin.

"Hyung-"

"You go up. There's a cave. Go inside. You'll see a big rock throne. Hide behind it they won't be able to catch you...", Jimin's breath was stuck.

The cave.

The throne.

"NO HYUNG!!! I'M NOT GOING BACK THERE!!! I'M NOT LEAVING YOU!!!", Jimin cried out as his tears won't just stop. The possibility of that happening again and him never meeting his hyung ate him alive.

"Jimin. We'll be there to take you. I will come to take you. Trust me.", Jimin cried as Kai wiped his tears.

"Go on. We don't have time. I have to take Yugyeom.", Kai said as the two Royal Inspectors were inching closer with few guards. Kai gritted teeth as he cursed them under breath. Jimin shook his head desperately.

"Jimin do you trust me?", Kai asked looking in his eyes. Jimin saw nothing but sincerity.

"I... Trust you Hyung."

"Then go on. I will come back. No matter how much time it takes. I will come back to take you with me... Go on before the moonlight disappears."

Jimin mindlessly entered the cave.

The same place where his life came to stop.

The place which was just a curse for him.

And was he right though.

It didn't take long before moon disappeared in an Eclipse completely and with that he heard a loud scream of Kai writhing pain.

He gasped.

But before he could run back to his hyung he found himself sitting on the throne with his breathing slowly dying down.....
