10 years later

"No no no, red flowers." I yelled at her.

"Come on Adaira grow a bit, have this white one." Lilly motioned, as her longs hairs bounces out of the bun.

"It's my daughter birthday and I would choose." I raised my head.

"And I have a better experience being a mother, so I know what to do." She growled.

"Why am I even listening to you-"

"Stop it" A cold voice cut between. Both of us turned to see the arrival of Rick in the hall. "You act more childish than your own children."

"Thanks for your compliment, you can get out now." I smiled at him.

"Firstly I am here, wasting my time, for a birthday party, now who waste money on such a silly thing!" He exclaimed.

"You would know if you stay at home on Amily or Liam's birthday." I shrugged.

"What-"

"Adaira that's enough of talking, have those red flowers please." Lilly said kicking me as I prevent myself from yelling.

Now can you imagine Lilly letting her kids cry their eyes out because their father has a lock on wallet?

I don't know how can brother imagine this.

"Is it true Mrs Ambrose." His little finger twitch.

"Come on Ricky, let's go outside, I have to watch the kids." Saying that she grabbed his hand and lead him outside.

You must be wondering Ricky? Where's Dicky-

So, you may know Mr Ambrose doesn't like being called a dick in front of his kids, doesn't matter how much he act like one.

Arranging the red flowers on the table I start walking towards Eva's room. She had told me she would wear the dress alone but I know how clumsy she is, and what can you expect from a three year old- now four years, kid.

"Eva are you ready?" I knocked the door.

"Yeah mommy just putting some accessories." She shouted back.

Oh no.

I burst the gate open to find her standing on the chair, trying to reach the thing I have kept high above.

"I told you, you can't use it." I said picking her up from the chair. Her brown hairs was still messy as her blue eyes pleaded to use accessories.

"You said you won't scold me today." She said making a puppy dog face.

"I said, and I won't, but it doesn't mean I will let you make yourself a joker." I said putting her down as I knelt to be on her level. I removed the hairs sticking on her face as she made a angry face. "You are looking beautiful honey, you don't need any accessories."

She smiled softly. She loves attention, compliment and being beautiful all time.

Who knows from where she get these habit.

"Now let's head downstairs." We walked outside, as everyone else was in the garden we reached there. Jasper, my dear son, came rushing towards me. He has black hair and green orbs and his face cut resembles James so much.

"Mommy he cheated again." He complaint pointing towards Liam. Now Liam is never easy, he is cute and irritating and always do mischief.

"It's alright Jasper, you are his big brother right?" I pointed out.

"Am just seven, and he is six, it's not that much old." giving a disapproval look, he goes back where Liam was playing.

As Eva ran to her brothers I find my way where James and Lilly were. Amily was also there sitting quietly on the grass. She never plays much, you know she always says "it's waste of energy"

As I reached there I heard James talking to Rick. I still remember the day when James and I went to Rick's house.

"Adaira, I guess I have a very very important work to do." He said standing from the couch. Trying to prevent the cold death glares.

"Come on James talk to him." I encouraged him.

"On the contrary I guess we really don't have to talk, I am giving approval." Lilly said as she came from the room.

"Nobody asked your Approval Mrs Ambrose." A chilled voice rang.

"Now now husband dear I have rights and duties towards my sister Adaira, I didn't just marry you to pamper Amily." She patted his head and sat beside him.

"Yah, Amily, I will just go and visit her, she would-" James muttered.

"You can visit her, you are his uncle anyways." Lilly cheered.

"According to me this man here, is not a good match for you Adaira," Rick forced.

"As if we still care of your opinion." I muttered. "Rick please, am already married, and I know you don't have good memories with Captain but..." I looked towards Lilly for any idea, and she gives me a look to wait.

"Mr Ambrose, I promise you that I would never ever let her sad, I would make sure to give every happiness Mrs Carter deserves, And I-"

"Already accepting this false marriage are we, Mrs Carter huh? Totally not acceptable and I don't believe this run-off marriage-'

"Come on, your sister is here to visit you and you still stuck in their marriage." Lilly growled. "And if we have a look at the positive side they just saved your money, if we have fixed her wedding then we have to do all the decoration and invite so many people, and as a brother it would be your responsibility...."

"Sometimes I have a mixed feeling about your oh-so intelligent brain." He grunted his teeth but still something changed in his tone. "I want to talk to him alone."

None of us knows what they talked about, but the talk go well and we all are together.

All the kids encircled Amily and tried convening her to play.

"Miss Amily Ambrose am telling you last time to go and play." A motherly voice rang.

"Mother really? I don't want to play, what if I fall and broke my bones," Amily said coldly. She has black hairs and sea colored eyes, her face is no less then a beautiful goddess, and the resemblance of Rick can't be ignored."then you have to take me hospital and the-"

"Amily dear, you are here to enjoy and to enjoy you have to play" Lilly gave a death glare to her.

"Indeed?"

"Mr Ambrose, aren't you going to say something? which involves the benefits of physical exercise..." 

"Indeed?" He raised one eyebrow. "I don't remember having a conversation about this to you, and you shouldn't force anything on my dear, daughter, it's her decision."

"Ha! did you all hear that, now go and waste your time and energy." She jumped and hugged Rick tightly. "He is the only one who understands me."

It was not a shock to see Rick patting her daughter head with lots of care in his eyes.

Now it was supposed to be a rare thing a decade ago.

"And he is also the person who give you this stubborn skull" Lilly pointed.

"Now you all don't fight." Eva instructed as a elder, and we all start laughing. "Anyways how's my dress sister, Ami??" She said moving it back and forth.

Amily took three seconds to observe it closely. "Hm..Adequate." She said as she was still standing against Rick in his arms.

"What the hell is that? Adcate?" She yelled.

"Eva where did you hear that." I turned towards James.

"No no no, listen Adaira I swear I didn't said that word infront of her." James started.

"Then..." I turned towards Lilly this time.

"Seriously you doubt me, I have a ten year of experience, on controlling my language." She said. "Liam, did you..."

"Crap! Crap! Crap! No mommy I didn't said anything, I don't know how the hell she knows that word." Liam said. "Seriously Eva can't you shut your fuc-"

"Silence." Mr Rikkard Ambrose whisper, and it was enough to make him quite. "I have told you Liam Ambrose, control your language."

"Sorry father it's just..."

"Just what? I don't warn people twice and I have warned you thirty eight times and-"

Totally off topic, was he really counting?

"-you crossing your limit, you should atleast kept your mouth shut infront of Eva-"

"Cut this off, don't scold my baby, he will start crying," Lilly gave Rick a death glare as she turned to Liam.

"Now we really have to teach him how to talk." Rick shrugged. Lilly ignored him and hugged Liam to cheer him up.

"You can fight later," James said making his way between them. "We have to celebrate a birthday here."

James picked up Eva and she giggled. Jasper gave a grunt sound as he saw his dear father giving attention to Eva only. I knelt down and hugged him. Lilly was still giving Rick looks as Liam was on his way to cry.

This is it. My family my world, doesn't matter what we does we are always together.

Being cliché am I?

Gosh my oh-so beautiful imagination.

I thought if I got to know about Lilly's firstborn in NSR I would do according to it...but as it didn't happen...I applied my imagination.

And the names Amily and Liam came out by playing around Lilly and Ambrose.

Jasper was for the reference of Lord Jasper Adrien, and Eva...no particular reason I just can't find a name😅
