Samantha was sitting alone in her room. She was thinking, about her father. He left when she was only six and though she was now eleven, the pain was still there. Brian, John and Roger tried to help her when he died, tried to tell her it was alright...

"But it wasn't alright!" Samantha shouted, catching the attention of Mary, who wandered in. 

"Sam? Are you alright?" She asked with a worried expression on her face.

"Yeah."

"Alright."

When Mary left, Samantha went back to thinking. She thought of the happy times with Freddie Mercury. All the games they played. How she missed him at christmas. He was always so fun. Finally, with all the thoughts still whirling around in her mind, she fell asleep.

Samantha opened her eyes to blinding light. Then, four shadows blocked it. They were muttering.

"Where did she come from?"

"Why is she here?"

"How did she get here?"

Then, one voice seemed extremely clear amongst all the other muffled mumbling.

"Are you alright, darling?"

No... It couldn't be...could it?

"Dad...?" Samantha whispered.

"Yes dear. It's me." Freddie said gently.

Samantha's eyes widened in shock. Her dad? How? Then, her eyes grew used to the light as she looked at the others. Their faces, strange to her, came into focus. Only then did she notice the wings on their backs. On her fathers back. They were angels.

"How are you angels? I'm not dead! Am I? No I can't be! Can I?"

"No darling, you aren't dead. One of our angels noticed how morbid you seemed and he sent you here, to say a proper goodbye."

"How long am I here?"

"Not long. Until daybreak." One of the other angels told her.

"Come with us dear, we will show you around." Freddie's voice was as smooth as silk. 

She felt as if her mind was going to explode. "Ok" Samantha got up and grasped her fathers hand, never wanting to let go. Not again...
