A FEW DAYS HAVE PASSED SINCE Celeste got off the Hogwarts train and left in a taxi and never looked back. Now here she was standing in a large mansion.

Andromeda, Ted, and Nymphie must be worried about her but all she felt so numb like she wanted to fade away. She lost her boyfriend to a no-nose bastard and she somewhat blamed the Ministry for even allowing the Tournament to happen.

She didn't feel like talking to the Malfoy's because Harry confessed that Lucius Malfoy was present.

How could he just stand by Voldemort's side yet preach about how he cared about Reyna?

She needed a break. Celeste needed some time to herself and if it meant cutting off her relatives for a couple of months to find herself again so be it.

Before her mother passed away, she was given a large aristocrat box with an impressive extension charm. Inside was an encased rose with a charm to not wilt, stacks of journals, letters, and books of the De Martel lineage.

Inside was an address of the original Merlin house.

Thornhill Estate.

She had to admit, the place was beautiful and the gardens looked well kept. The question in her mind is why the place still looked like the pictures her mother have taken.

When she stepped inside the wards didn't push her back, instead, it basked around her and welcomed her into the borders of the Der Martel estate.

Celeste knocked on the door only for the double wooden doors to open.

The house was beautiful she couldn't deny that.  She was greeted at the sight of a large staircase and a vintage rug. A large window with red curtains and a painting of Merlin were right across from each other.

The next room had comfortable sofas and a large fireplace. There was also a couple of throws and blankets which seemed to make the place feel like home. And a piano was a couple of feet away. There was a large chandelier looming ahead of the room.

Celeste didn't even get to make it that far because there was the sound of a pop.

A petite elf wearing a sunflower dress with white polka dots had a frying pan in her hands threatening to use it, 'WHO DARES TO ENTER MISTRESSES HOME?

The sound of a stretching woman filled the air and a portrait  that hung at the entrance of the house had its curtains opened at the sound of Dorota's voice, "SHUT UP ELF, HOW DARE YOU WAKE ME UP FROM MY BEAUTY SLEEP?"

Who the fuck was that?

"What the actual fuck  ━  something tells me you are not Winky because she does not have the balls to actually threaten people,"

The house-elf blinked and stared.

"Girl knows Winky?"

"Of course I know Winky, we have milk and cookies together on Thursdays and chat about how Barty Crouch is a sleaze bag and terrible father."

"Girl knows Barty Crouch sr? Dead isn't her?"

"Pretty sure, I mean it was written all over the Daily Prophet. Along with the fact that his son bonked my head and basically shoved me in a trunk." Celeste ranted with her hands waved in the air dramatically.

The dramatics indeed reminded Dorota of the late Regulus Black and his dunderhead of a brother Sirius Black.

"Dorota demands you to tell her who you are!"

"Isn't it obvious Dorota, don't tell me you've had forgotten Aunt Rey and Uncle Reg that you don't recognize their own daughter."

A tall ravenette appeared at the doorway leading to what seemed like the dining area.

Primrose Grace Rushman stood there alive and breathing in all flesh and blood.

Now this time Celeste took a couple of steps back and gaped at the older woman.

"Hello sweetheart, I'm Primrose. I knew eventually you'd come across our home."

"You're alive? This whole time everyone in the Britain Wizarding world thought you were dead."

"I've been hiding in plain sight. I go by the surname Delacour. A distant relative family of ours." Prim answered. There was a hint of a french accent evident in the way she spoke.

Why didn't Fleur say anything? Then again she might've had her reasons as to why Primrose was living in a whole new identity. Celeste was overwhelmed with happiness realizing that she had family on her mother's side.

"Mistress Celeste is finally home," Dorota burst into tears and wailed. She latched onto her leg as she continued to praise how beautiful she had gotten and how she looked so grown up.

Dorota pulled back and admired her Mistress while her large eyes glistened. It felt like yesterday when she made a promise to Mistress Reyna to look after her daughter, yet she failed.

A House Elf wasn't allowed to look after a child.

Celeste didn't have the words to even say anything else because she was wrapped into an embrace by the older woman.

The Black burst into tears, "H ━ How is this possible?"

"Tell me, cousin, have you heard about Jasper De Martel?"
