𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟳 ╱ ╱ 🏛🧺 ˚◞𑁍ﾟ𝙳𝙸𝙾𝚁𝙲𝙷𝙰𝙸𝙰𝙼𝙴𝚃

To say Professor Snape was furious was an understatement. He looked like a snarling vicious beast.

It all started when Harry, Celeste, and Hermione returned to the right time and snuck back into their designated beds.

Celeste was munching on her piece of chocolate while Pomfrey tended to their needs.

Now they could hear angry voices growing louder. Madam Pomfrey stared at the door questioningly.

The three already knew what they were talking about and Harry Potter tried to keep a straight laugh to refrain from laughing.

"HE DIDN'T DISAPPARATE!" Snape roared, now very close. "YOU CAN'T DISAPPARATE IN-SIDE THIS CASTLE! THIS ─ HAS ─ TO ─ DO ─ WITH ─ POTTER!"

"Tut-tut... accusing innocent third years mumbled Celeste so Harry and Hermione could only hear her.

Hermione merely shrugged and shot her friends a small smile.

"Severus ─ be reasonable ─Harry has been locked up─"

The door opened to reveal a Snape striding into the ward. Fudge appeared angry as Dumbledore seemed entertained.

"OUT WITH IT POTTER!" he bellowed. "WHAT DID YOU DO?"

"Professor Snape!" shrieked Madam Pomfrey, "Control yourself!"

Celeste ate her fifth chocolate.

"See, here Snape, be reasonable," said Fudge. "This door's been locked, we just saw ─"

"THEY HELPED HIM ESCAPE, I KNOW IT!" Snape Howled, pointing at Hermione, Harry, and Celeste.

"Calm down man!" Fudge barked. "You're talking nonsense!"

"YOU DON'T KNOW POTTER! AND MOST CERTAINLY YOU DON'T KNOW BLACK EITHER. THESE TWO DID IT, I KNOW IT ─"

Dumbledore eventually calmed Severus down and had a talk to Fudge. Then after they left, Ron woke up.

"W─What happened? Harry? Why are we in here? Where's Sirius? Where's Lupin? What's going on?"

Celeste sighed and shoved a piece of chocolate in his mouth. "Ronnie dearest you missed quite the show. She's never seen Snape act like this towards the Ministry and Headmaster of all people." she smiled.

Hermione, Celeste, and Harry exchanged looks.

"You two can explain, I feel like eating and going to bed now..."

"You and your sleep." Celeste rolled her eyes.

On cue the doors open to reveal Blaise, Draco, and Theo.

The Malfoy jabbed a finger in Harry's direction wearing a deadly glare. "You─are─dead!"

"Draco for Salzar's sake I'm alive!"

Theo came over with a gift basket making Celeste question where he got it from. "My mother of course. She adores you and when I told her about your little adventure...well she didn't hesitate to mail in a 'get well basket'.

"The Zabini and Nott special." Blaise snickered, noticing her mother's favorite face masks and creams in there.

"What are you doing here?" Harry questioned bluntly.

"We're here for our Slytherin princess...and we heard the news from Malfoy and we waited for hours when we noticed Celeste was gone. How can you go out in the Forbidden Forest?!"

That's right. The cover-up story to hide what really happened. The quartet came up with a story of how they went into the Forbidden Forest to search for Ron's rat Scabbers.

Hermione smiled in Blaise and Theo's direction, "That's nice of you."

"Don't think we forgot about you too." Theo winked and conjured up some flowers and handed her a chocolate box. "Nasty Dementors are, it's a miracle you two got out of there alive."

"What are Ron and I? Next-door neighbors? Or perhaps the sacrifice?"

"Yes," responded Theo and Blaise in unison.

Draco attacked Celeste in a hug and handed her a letter. "My father sent me...well us a letter. They are going to hold a meeting tomorrow morning before you leave on who's going to take care of you...there's no stopping them now that Black's escaped once again."

"She can't live with the Malfoy's." Hermione whispered to Harry, "I mean look what they have for a son...imagine Celeste living with him."

"There's no getting out of this? I'm fine living with Arabella."

"And what happens when that squib gets murdered by Black?" Draco commented. He didn't like how she was dismissing the fact that she lived in a neighborhood of muggles and had no protection.

Celeste resisted the urge to snap at her cousin. She wanted to say that Sirius was innocent, that he couldn't hurt a fly. He wouldn't betray his friends.

But unlike the Golden Quartet, everyone else believed in something else about Sirius Black.

"Blimey, haven' yeh heard?" said Hagrid, his smile faded by the next words. "Er ─ Snape told all the Slytherins this morning' Thought everyone know by now...Professor Lupin's a werewolf ─"

Celeste's heart dropped.

By now the Potter and Black reached Lupin's office he was already packing.

"Professor I would like to say that I would've never told anyone even though I'm a Slytherin myself and I can't speak for Draco but ─"

"Sweetheart it isn't your fault. I don't blame you or anyone else...besides Snape of course."

"Why?" Harry said. "The Ministry of Magic doesn't think you were helping Sirius do they?"

"No. Professor Dumbledore managed to convince Fudge that I was trying to save your life." he sighed. "That was the final straw for Severus. I think the loss of the Order of Merlin hit him hard. So he ─ er ─ accidentally let slip that I am a werewolf at breakfast this morning."

"He's such an arse. I can't believe him!" Celeste said.

"You're not leaving just because of that!" said Harry horrified.

Lupin merely smiled wryly.

"This time tomorrow, the owls will start to arrive from their parents. They will not be happy a werewolf is teaching their children. I put you in danger along with the others. That must never happen again."

"You're the best DADA teacher we've ever had!" Harry pleaded. "Don't go!"

"Yeah! I just ─ I just got to finally meet you again, I had a godfather this whole time that actually fought for me. My whole life I felt so abandoned and alone. But to know that there was someone out there wanting to meet me my whole life... I still find it hard to believe that my other relatives want me..."

"It brings me joy that my goddaughter finally knows me. That's probably the one thing I'll miss the most." Lupin smiled as he continued emptying his drawers while Harry and Celeste's attempts to make him stay were unsuccessful.

"From what the headmaster told me this morning, you saved a lot of lives last night, Harry and Celeste, if I'm proud of anything I've done this year, it's how much you've learned...tell me about your Patronuses."

"How'd you know about that?" said Harry distracted.

"What else could have driven the Dementors back?"

"He's got a point," Celeste commented. She grinned widely, "Mine's a Raven...weird considering mums is a dove─"

Remus threw his head back and laughed, "I owe Sirius a couple of Galleons."

"What?"

"Reyna, Sirius, and I made this bet of whose Patronus would be similar between your mother and Regulus' side. Though I feel Sirius is going to be a bit sullen about it. He had a feeling yours would be a wolf or dog like him."

Lupin then eyed Harry. "Yes, your father was always a stag when he transformed...You guessed right...that's why we called him Prongs."

He threw a few books into his case and closed it. Remus then brought out the invisibility cloak and a jewelry box. "Here ─ I brought this back from the Shrieking Shack, and this as well..." he handed the Marauder's Map too. "I am no longer your teacher, so I don't feel guilty about giving you back this well. I also have a little present for your charm bracelet...

Celeste pulled out her invisibility bracelet. "This heirloom was passed down in your family. Your grandfather was the one that gave her this. She just never used it until you were born.

He handed her a box and Celeste opened it to reveal a raven charm.

"I believe that rat charm needs to go," Remus smirked, earning a laugh from Harry.

Harry looked at Celeste, "He's right Cecily..."

Celeste chuckled and unclipped the rat charm and replaced it with the raven charm. "Now it looks so much better."

Now she had a piece of her father with her as well.

Celeste stormed into Professor Snape's classroom without knocking. She was too angry and livid to control her temper.

"How could you expose Remus' condition like that?"

"I believe I don't know what you're talking about Miss Black," Severus ignored the way she went into his office without knocking.

"I think you do." snapped Celeste. "I finally had one good thing in my life and you took it away from me." she didn't realize the slight flinch coming off Snape. "You had no right to go around telling people about his condition! I'm starting to think it's you that's caught up in the past to realize the bigger issue. Harry will have to go back to those clowns!"

The clowns being the Dursleys.

Snape stood up from his chair and peered down at his student. "Watch your tone, you barely know him─"

"I know that. But who cares if he's lycanthropy? How about you teach a lesson to yourself about how to be a decent person." Celeste scoffed. "No wonder my parents hated your guts!"

That seemed to have irked Snape's buttons because he pointed his wand at her threateningly. "Get out."

Celeste shot him another loathing face and spun on her heels towards the door. "Gladly! The only good thing that's going to happen this summer is getting away from a man-child!"

She slammed the door leaving a seething Severus behind.

Nobody knew what happened at Hogwarts last night. Everyone didn't know the truth of what happened with Sirius, Buckbeak, and Pettigrew except for Dumbledore, Hermione, Celeste, Ron, and Harry.

Celeste read the letter Sirius written to her the next few hours later.

Dear Celeste,

I would say that meeting you and Harry again might have been the best day of my life. Buckbeak and I are fine. We are safe, thanks to you and your friends.

Maybe you have been expecting more answers to your questions. And I will gladly answer a few through this letter.

Your father and I had a very strained relationship. That wil forever be my regret. Instead of running away from home, I should've tried harder to convince him to come along with me.

Reyna and I were childhood friends. I'm sure you get tired of hearing how my cousins and I were like siblings towards her. It was true. There hasn't been a day where a few of us would be eating breakfast at each other's manors.

I don't know what happened to your father, my memories are a bit of a haze due to the Dementors. But Reyna stated that your father had to do something to protect your mother. I think he did know about you though. I will continue to figure things out and hopefully, when we see each other, we can talk more about it.

( A/N: I'm going to edit this in the first book but I'm going to confirm that Sirius did not know what Regulus did because Reyna promise not to tell him. Only told Sirius that Regulus had tried to leave Voldemort's army )

Malfoy was furious about Buckbeak. He was convinced that Hagrid found a way to smuggle it.

"I can't believe we had a half breed as our teacher!"

"Shove it Parkinson!" snapped Celeste.

The whole Defense Against Arts class was miserable about this resignation except a few Slytherins.

Exams came back and the quartet passed their classes. Celeste's year was certainly eventful, but definitely fun.
