Staying at Leaky Cauldron wasn't so bad.
It took several days for Harry Potter to get used to his strange new freedom. For example, waking up and going to bed whenever he wanted to. Eat anything he wants or venture outside.
He had Celeste to show him many things that he didn't have the opportunity to do yet. For example, getting new clothes that actually fit him instead of wearing baggy clothes that no doubt belonged to Dudley Dursley.
They spend their time exploring and eating in various places but of course, Celeste would buy stuff from the nearby market and make homemade meals.
Like any other day, Celeste ventured to the markets while Harry was completing his homework at the Ice Cream parlor.
She was looking at a couple of designer silks when a voice made her spin around in apprehension. Ever since the news of Sirius Black on the loose, Celeste has been on her guard.
"Celeste."
"Draco," Celeste stated in acknowledgment.
She didn't exactly have the best image of his father Lucius. After all, he was after her for some reason. Arabella told her that there was a rumor of him being involved on the night her mother died but she couldn't say anything else.
He shifted his feet, "I...Did you hear already?"
"Yes, it's not easy to avoid trouble these days." Celeste rolled her eyes.
"Mother and father are considering taking you from Arabella Figgs, I can't really blame them really ━ " Draco obviously disliked anything that wasn't magic related. That included muggle-borns, half-bloods & breeds, but also squibs as well.
She loved her cousin, truly Celeste did. When she first met him on the train they started off on the wrong foot, but when she got sorted into Slytherin, he introduced himself.
Draco Malfoy told her what she needed to know about their family.
" ━ They can't!" Celeste instantly objected. The last thing she wanted was to live with the Malfoy's. She won't let them take her away from Arabella.
Draco frowned at her words, "And why the bloody hell not?"
"Have you forgotten what your father did to Ginny?" Celeste scoffed and spun on her heels to give the lady some sickles for some fresh ingredients.
The Malfoy gave her a pointed look, "Cousin dearest, you get to live in a proper estate considering you are the Black Heir. The mantle no longer belonged to Sirius Black when he got disowned. It's better than that crappy housing. Snakes stay together. We are family."
Draco's blood boiled at the thought of his little cousin living in a small residence and feared that Celeste lived a life similar to the Weasley's.
"I don't need those things. Draco, I'm happy with the life I have right now. Arabella is much more than a squib and I'll never leave her behind."
Without another word, Celeste left the boy standing there fists clenched at the rejection of his offer.
Celeste sighed and shook her head in disappointment. Only if he understood the true meaning of why she refuses to live with the Malfoys. She heard many stories about his parents and let's just say that what happened last year justified that Celeste should avoid Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy.
She passed by the Quality Quidditch Supplies.
Curious to know what the crowd in the shop was staring at the girl's curiosity got the best of her and walked over to the window, squeezing through the people crowding around.
Just come out ━ prototype ━ " a wizard told his companion.
"It's the fastest broom in the world, isn't it Dad?" squeaked a boy younger than Harry. "Irish International Side's just put in an order for seven of these beauties!" the proprietor of the shop told the crowd.
Celeste, a quidditch maniac like her dear old father, squealed excitedly.
"And they're favorites for the World Cup!" A large witch in front of Celeste moved to see the sign of the broom.
❝ THE FIREBOLT ❞
She took a great time admiring it for a couple of moments before she hasted the grocery bag through her right arm and left.
On her way to Leaky Cauldron, a content expression graced her face. She saw something at the corner of her eyes at a food stand. Something brushed up against her calves and Celeste's gaze dropped down to see a big, bear-like black dog whimpering at her heels.
"Oh, Salzar aren't you adorable." Celeste cooed, bending down to pet the dog. "I'm Celeste."
The dog whined and nuzzled against her hand, he stared at her ocean-grey hues that he would notice a mile away. Those curls at the ends of her hair screamed his brother. Sirius could notice how Celeste inherited her mother's nose and long lashes.
For a moment Sirius felt like he was staring at his sister-in-law and brother again. The regret and nostalgia hit him like a bulger.
He missed everything. Sirius Black imagined how his life would've played out if he didn't get locked up in Azkaban. Not only would have taken care of Celeste but Harry as well.
When Regulus disappeared and confirmed unknown, he promised to step in and become a parental figure in Celeste's life because no matter what, he wasn't going to disappoint his little brother more than he has already in years.
Except he did fail, again. What kind of brother, uncle, and godfather was he?
The Black has seen the way the Dursleys treated his godson and once he's free he's going to have a pleasant conversation with them.
She checked the time on her muggle watch and sighed sadly, "I have to go make dinner for Harry and I but maybe we'll find each other again."
Little did she know, Celeste's words were about to come true. Sirius' goal is to travel to the Hogwarts ground and find the real culprit behind Lily, Reyna, and James' death.

₊˚ 𖤐₊ ⁀➷ Although Draco can be a lil piece of shit he cares about his cousin a lot. His family doesn't believe strongly in squibs or anyone 100% magic. Remember that not only are the Malfoy's fighting for her custody but the Tonks as well. The Rushman's don't have the slightest chance because, in this story, Andrea and her family died in the first war. Their last living member hasn't been confirmed dead or alive, only missing. Later in the story, you'll find out who it is.
Andrea's killer will be revealed later.
₊˚ 𖤐₊ ⁀➷ Poor Siri! Okay, but why can I picture the fact that once Sirius broke out, he went to James, Lily, and Reyna's graves first?
₊˚ 𖤐₊ ⁀➷ Also I came up with a cool idea for book five.
