₊˚ 𖤐₊ ⁀➷ 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐃 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 ✩ 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚑𝚎𝚒𝚛 𝚘𝚏 𝚜𝚕𝚢𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚒𝚗.

"Both of you are absolutely insane. What were you thinking? flying a bloody car to school?" Celeste Black's voice rang the Great Hall. If anything she sounded like a sound speaker at a football game.

Ron thought she sounded like Neville Longbottom's grandmother.

The boys didn't get away with flying a car to Hogwarts. Seeing as they were seen by muggles, Harry and Ron got detention. The Weasley spent his time cleaning trophies and Harry had to help Lockhart answer his fan mail.

On Harry's way back, he was following a hissing noise. The Potter ran into his friend Celeste on the way  ━  who also had detention for being in the wrong place at the worst time.

The Weasley's dyed Professor Snape's hair purple and because Celeste was coming into his classroom to hand in an assignment, she saw it and laughed.

( Thinking Celeste was a part of the prank, she landed detention for no reason. )

"Do you hear it too?" Harry asked, panting slightly from all that running. Both of them listened to the voice but it was gone.

Celeste let out a shriek when she saw the writing on the wall. A cat  ━  no, Mrs. Norris, Argus Filch's cat floated in the air.

Hermione and Ron stood beside the brunette also stricken.

"What is that?"

"Is that blood?"

"Did they write it?"

"Enemies of the heir beware?" Celeste recognized that condescending voice anywhere and turned. When Draco saw the girl looking at him, he quickly shifted his gaze.

"What is going on   ━  Mrs. Norris!" Mr. Filch had gotten through the wall of students gaping at the wall and now gawked at his frozen cat. "What have you done to my cat?!"

"Argus!" Celeste heard. It was Dumbledore. Behind him was Professor McGonagall, Professor Snape, and Madame Pomfrey, all frozen in horror.

Dumbledore sent everyone back to their dormitories except the Slytherin and three Gryffindors.

He almost and unsuccessfully tried to kick Harry off the team much to everyone's say. McGonagall looked like she wanted to slap the greasy-haired man.

Once the conversation came to an end about an antidote, Gildory tried to state that he'll make it only to get a smackdown from Celeste.

"I believe Professor Snape is the Potion's master of this school," Celeste added quite snarkily.

McGonagall coughed to hide a giggle and Professor Snape looked highly amused at her words but turned stern.

He wouldn't allow himself to like the Black heir. Snape despised her for many reasons and one being related to the Black brothers.

Not to mention Snape handed her position as Seeker to Draco, she became chaser instead which outraged many people on the team, including their team Captain Marcus Flint. However, they had to suck it up because her uncle bought them new brooms.

"I fucking hate you." Celeste rolled her eyes in Draco's direction, simmering in anger and Draco gulped at her heated stare.

In a Defense Club Harry spoke parseltongue which sparked rumors of how Harry could be the heir of Slytherin. However, many also thought that since she was the girl who lived that Celeste Black was the heir of Slytherin until the rumors shut down when Cedric Diggory, a kind Hufflepuff defended the brunette.

Touched by his actions, the two became friends.

With a monster on the loose, many students were getting petrified. Including Celeste's friend Hermione Granger. A girl she first befriended on the train.

When Ginny got taken Harry, Ron, and Celeste went down there to save the girl. In the end, they figured out how the Chamber was opened and it all happened because of a diary that took possession of Ginny.

Lucius Malfoy was the one to put the diary in her cauldron and Celeste will forever loathe the man for putting Ginny through that pain.

Harry and Celeste got revenge by freeing Dobby the Elf.

"You lost me my servant boy!" he snarled in Harry's direction. Lucius Malfoy whipped his wand from his coat pocket and pointed at the Potter boy.

Celeste stepped back in shock and completely wide-eyed. Harry being his father's son shielded the brunette from her Uncle.

At that moment, Lucius finally noticed Celeste standing behind the boy, seeing as he was blinded by rage.

Celeste's cheeks burned, "Oh um  ━  " she was prepared to yell at this man for hurting Ginny but the look of sadness made her blink in confusion.

"Look at the time, I must be going." he smiled at Celeste. His face softened at the apprehensiveness on the Black and turned around. "Goodbye."

"Bye."

The Malfoy blinked in shock. He didn't expect to get a reply back from the grey-blue eyed girl. He gave Celeste a courteous nod and a glare at Harry's direction.

"Harry Potter and Celeste Black freed Dobby!" he shouted. "How can Dobby ever repay you two?"

"Just promise us something." Harry began.

"Anything sir."

"Never try to save our lives again." Harry and Celeste stated at the same time. She went over and gave the house-elf a tight hug.

"I'm glad you're free Dobby!"

Dobby happily hugged Celeste's legs once more. Fat tears clouded his big eyes. "Ms. Black is too kind much like her mother!"

This statement brought Celeste into a frozen state. Dobby disappeared with a pop, leaving the boy and girl standing there.

"Did Dobby just...."

"No, I heard it too," Harry said, feeling happy for her friend. He knew how much she wanted to know more about her mother.

There was some part in Celeste that wondered what relationship Reyna had with the elf.

Celeste let out a shaky breath and smiled, "I'll have to ask him again sometime."

Whenever people talked about her mother, they always seemed hesitant to say anything. Not because Reyna De Martel-Black was a bad person, but because someone so unbelievably kind and witty left the world so soon.

Later that week, Celeste sat at her House table eating dinner. Theodore Nott sat beside his friend. Blaise Zabini sat on her right. Everyone at the Great Hall wore their pajamas.

Classes were canceled because of the events down at the Chambers. Sadly, Hermione and Celeste studied for the upcoming exams which are also canceled. Both of them ended up being at the top of the year.

( Hermione being first, Celeste being second, and Draco following after ).

"I knew that last year was crazy enough but this year was a whole number. Has me dreading the third year."

"Don't jinx it, man," Theo grumbled and took a swig of his pumpkin juice. "Celeste don't scare us like that!"

The Black sighed and guilt consumed her. "I'm sorry guys," she didn't want to worry her friends that much.

Celeste won't be trusting Lucius Malfoy in a while. Ginny is like a sister to her and doesn't like how he treats elves like Dobby.

Before you all come at me for replacing Celeste as seeker it didn't last long until the end of her second year when Marcus offered her spot back! Also, the reason I am rushing with the whole chamber of secrets is so she can learn more about her family in her third year.
