1.10 You open the article and read that the shooting was a drive-by at a hotel and is currently suspected to be mob-related. since you didn't read the first article, you can't compare differences other than the title. Why the change? It couldn't be anything you did, could it? You scan the Webpage for any useful info. The site is the Crabtree Chronicle, and both sides are lined with strange ads, which get you distracted for a minute.
The first few ads were for a comic book title "Atrocity, a "Grief" video game, and an ad placement company with a knockoff Superman mascot in a solid red suit. You accidentally click the home page and go to the front page where three articles pop up: a review for a self-help book titled "Atone", an interview with someone talking about simulation theory, and a post about Montgomery's Mental Wellness Clinic.
you now know the people in the accident, the hospital the survivors were sent to, and a general idea of where the truck came from.
1.11 You go to the hospital and tell the staff that Kirsten is your sister, and they tell you that she was just sent into surgery because of complications with...
Then, you wake up at midnight in your bed. You found a few places the truck driver could have been before the accident. You can try to find the driver or contact Kirsten online to stop her from being in the accident or wait at the accident site again.
1.12 you decide to stop the driver and contact Kirsten to stop her from being in the accident. You try to contact Kirsten first.
You find her online and send a message warning her of the accident, but you aren't sure how long it would take for her to see it. While you wait for a response you start to plan how to find the truck driver.
Your search for the truck driver doesn't go anywhere, and while you drive near where you think he was coming from, you never see the truck. The accident still happens, but Kirsten reads your message and replies that they weren't in the accident because of you.
While online, you see the same news story that's changed again. You open Winona Carpenter's newest article: "Eleven Dead in Biloxi Bombing." The location is still a hotel, but instead of a driveby, the article states that a bomb was planted in a room to kill a police informant. A few hours later, the day doesn't reset at the usual time, so you'll have to reset the day yourself if you want to make any changes.
A/N: As of December 2, 2023 this is the most current post, and the poll ends in 2 days (December 4), and depending on the vote, the car accident plotline may be wrapping up. If it does wrap, I'm going to work on introducing the gangster, who is the first real villain.
