TITLE: Altering Time
Or just: Time

"Time is a spinning wheel. Constantly moving, an infinite repetition of what came before and what is yet to come. It loops endlessly, over and over. Time is an illusion. For now is no time at all. Time....is whatever I want it to be."

CHARACTER: Alyona (uh-lone-yuh) Petrov
TIMELINE: Captain America The First Avenger - Infinity War. Epilogue takes place at the end of Endgame
AGE: born 1917, she stopped aging after 18 years old. But is 28 in the First Avenger.
GENDER: female, she/her
LOVE INTEREST: Steve Rogers
PERSONALITY: open minded, curious, creative, thoughtful, serious, philosophical, calm, collected, reserved and private. Thinks deeply but doesn't think out loud. Keeps opinions to herself. Very kind and warm hearted, welcoming and accepting. Generous, but cocky sometimes. Bounces off of other people. Extroverted. Cute and bubbly, energetic.
WEAPONS USED: small metal discs that are like mini shields. She has one for each hand and will throw them like a frisbee to hit people, use them as a fist for punches, stab people and block attacks.
The outside edge has spikes on it so it can be used like a knife.
Also uses large retractable batons/staffs.

Very short summary: Girl (Alyona) with time travel messes around with her powers and goes into the future after Steve rejects her love in the 40's. She becomes an Avenger, falls in love with Steve Rogers even more. Steve is regretful of his decision in the past and falls in love with Alyona too. Alyona gets in trouble with Doctor Strange, has a breakdown in Infinity War and rewinds and freezes time so much she alters all of reality, killing Thanos when he was a child, changing everything she knew. Has to fix everything and the only way to do so ends up with her death.

STORY: (this is so long lmao sorry)

Part One: 1925, Alyona's childhood/teen years and training

Alyona Petrov was born to a Russian family who was living in New York City. They were staying temporarily until they could move back to Russia. Alyona lived in an apartment very near to the New York Sanctum. She was eight years old, the year was 1925.
One day, she and her parents were going out to the store and passed by the sanctum.
A group of rebelling/evil sorcerers were attacking The Ancient One. As the battle was going on, Alyona's parents were trying to get to safety, but Alyona was rooted to the ground and terrified. She wouldn't move even tho her parents were trying to drag her away.

The Ancient One saw Alyona about to get hit by a dangerous spell and pushed her out of the way. Alyona was safe, but her parents got hit and died. Then one of the evil sorcerers grabbed Alyona and held a blade to her neck. He threatened to kill her if The Ancient One didn't give him the Time Stone.

The Ancient One had a plan to trick them. She held the time stone in her hand like she was going to give it to them. She had planned to just rewind time so Alyona wouldn't be caught, but she didn't realize there was someone behind her.
Another evil guy quickly came up and snatched the time stone. In an attempt to get it back, the Ancient one lashed out at the man. The man didn't know how to use it so he used his powers, trying to make the stone do something. Other evil guys were shooting their powers at The Ancient One, while she was trying to protect herself with magic.

There was chaos where everyone was firing at the direction of the time stone. Suddenly there was a large explosion and the time stone was flung through the air and emitted blinding rays of its power. Then, it landed in Alyona's hand and remained still.

The combination of the sorcerers' different powers made the Time Stone crack slightly. This allowed its powers to burst out and enter Alyona. The time stone was drawn to her because some of its power had just gone in her, so that's why it landed in her hand.

The Ancient One was shocked and mesmerized. She sensed that Alyona was very powerful and would be a good apprentice. The battle ended, and since Alyona's parents were dead, The Ancient One took her in.

Here, Alyona trained to control her new abilities. She had complete control over time. She could rewind time, go forward in time, view visions of possible futures, she could stop time, travel through time, speed up or slow down time, reverse it, create loops.
Alyona had total control over the past, present and future.

Since the stone basically is time, Alyona is
time too. Whenever she uses her powers, her eyes glow a bright green and a little green outline goes around her body, just like how the stone glows when in use.

Alyona is essentially a time manipulator. That's what she calls herself. She is the embodiment of time, and as such, exists through time simultaneously. Alyona can also exist at all points of time simultaneously. She is essentially immortal, because her powers gave her control over personal temporality, including aging. But this doesn't mean she can't physically die from wounds.
Alyona chose to have the appearance of an 18 year old and doesn't age after that.

So for 10 years of her life, until she was 18, Alyona was trained by The Ancient One in the ways of the mystic arts, but mostly how to control her powers. The Ancient One wanted Alyona to be her successor, but Alyona did not want that. After The Ancient One tells her she is done with her training and can become the Sorcerer Supreme after she dies, Alyona hates this idea and wants to run away.

She doesn't like all the mystic arts stuff and doesn't want to live her life protecting some building. Later that night, she runs away and never goes back. She fast forwards herself through time to 1942, in order to distance herself even further from The Ancient One.
Alyona travels to Brooklyn, where she comes across a boy being beat up in an ally.

Guess who that is? Steve. Alyona has her signature discs and batons with her, and beats the kids up. Steve thanks her and asks who she is since Alyona has a weird appearance. Bucky joins them as they're talking. Alyona introduces herself but doesn't explain anything about her past or clothes.

She asks if she can join Steve and Bucky to go to the festival/celebration. Alyona hadn't seen much of the real world in years, so it was a thrill.
They watch Howard Stark and Bucky flirts with Alyona cause he thinks she's cute. Steve leaves to go look at the army station thing and Alyona follows him. She questions why he wants to join the army and is inspired by Steve's selfless courage and honor.

Alyona gets a small crush on Steve and thinks it wouldn't be bad if she tried to join the army. Alyona didn't know that women couldn't really do that sort of stuff since she grew up in the sanctum. Steve politely tries to tell her to not try, but she does anyway.

Alyona goes through the process and gets accepted because they were very impressed with her combat skills. She is assigned a position as a weapons administrator and overseer of the soldier's athletic performance. Steve gets accepted too and they begin to bond over that.

Alyona said she had combat experience fighting as an officer in Russia. She lied about her past, not wanting to tell them about her powers.
She was an officer in Russia who dealt with criminals and then moved to the U.S to be with family.
Alyona thought people would judge her and dislike her if they found out about her powers, so she kept them secret.

Alyona worked alongside Peggy Carter and oversees Steve's division. Hodge makes fun of Peggy's accent and asks why they have a child in command.
(Alyona looked young since she doesn't age and spoke with a slight Russian accent)

Peggy punches Hodge and Alyona kicks his feet out from under him.
Through the movie, Alyona begins to get stronger feelings for Steve, and they form a very close friendship. She supports him becoming a super soldier and thinks that if Steve is different and people don't judge him, then they might not judge her either.

Steve becomes Captain America and she and him chase down the nazi guy who shot erskine, but Alyona doesn't use her powers cause she's not ready yet.

Then Steve becomes the entertainer who goes around performing shows. Alyona will send one version of herself to talk with Steve at some points while also being present at her job. She can do this where she is in two places at once (I mentioned it earlier)
Alyona gives Steve good support and advice, leading him to go after Bucky. Alyona goes with him on the plane and uses her powers to avoid getting killed. She saves Steve on multiple occasions by rewinding time/freezing it. Alyona explains her powers briefly to a baffled Steve by saying, "I'm a time manipulator. I can control all time!"

They save Bucky, go back, Alyona asks Steve to keep her powers a secret. He agrees. She sees him kissing that one blonde girl and is jealous.
Steve apologizes and what not, but Alyona is still mad. Steve makes the situation worse and says, "here why don't you rewind time, and we can go back and I won't kiss her, okay?"

This sets Alyona off because he's talking about the kiss like it wasn't a big deal. He acted like she's a tool that can just be used to rewind time at any point. Alyona gets angry and upset, saying she loves him and has since the start, but he never noticed her.
Alyona got jealous when he and Peggy were flirting at points and got even more mad when he kissed the girl.

Steve tells her he doesn't feel the same, and that makes Alyona break. In the moment, she gets really upset and sees into the future. Alyona sees SHIELD be created, she sees Steve kiss Peggy, sees his plane crash and thinks he's dead.

That was one of the futures she saw, but the only one. Alyona didn't bother to see the other possibilities, which would have included her and Steve getting together. In that future, she could have saved Bucky from his death, could have saved Steve and would have gotten a happy ending. But because she only saw the one where Steve ended up kissing Peggy and then dying, Alyona jumped to the future.

She wanted to get away from Steve and erase him from her life, so she sends herself to the future. Precisely 2011.

Part two: The Avengers

Alyona finds shield, who she knew existed from her visions, and asks to work for them. She shows Nick Fury her powers, no longer scared of hiding them. He allows her to join and pairs her up with Natasha and Clint for missions. For about two months she works for Shield until they get Steve Rogers out of the ice.

Nick Fury doesn't tell Alyona because he knows from files that she used to love him.
After Steve wakes up, Nick talks to Alyona about the Avengers initiative and the tesseract situation.

She sees Steve when they're on the hellcarrier. Alyona is shocked to see him alive and wants to get away from him again. She knows she can't though, since her life is now with these people and they need her. She and Steve are awkward at first, but warm up to each other and fall in love again. They go through the Avengers movie, you can decide when she uses her powers, or if she gets injured and she can't use them or something.

Alyona gets a green tinted leather suit and gets her superhero name: Chrono
(You can change that if u want lol) it comes from Chronokinesis which is the ability to manipulate time.

Part three: Captain America: the Winter Soldier

Not much to say about this. Alyona and Steve both working as shield agents, Steve and her kiss for the first time on the escalator scene. They tease each other for it being a bad kiss, etc. during this part they're more flirty and silly.
Alyona was heartbroken when Fury "died", Hydra wanted to use her as a weapon but she got away with Steve. She's sad to see what Bucky has become and feels guilty for not saving him years ago. If she had stayed, she could have saved him.
But she can't go back now because it would change too much.
This makes Alyona realize that she was using her powers for herself and being selfish. She gets mad at herself because she could have stopped many people from suffering if she had just stayed in the 1940's. She tells herself she isn't going to use her powers unless it's absolutely necessary, because she's scared of what she will or will not make happen.

This is a BIG turning point, because in Age of Ultron and forward she doesn't use her powers because she doesn't want to mess up.

Part four: Age of Ultron

Alyona and Steve are officially dating now. Also they are both loyal and respectful so they don't get inappropriate or whatever. I don't want smut scenes with them. And they wait until marriage to do you know what.

They go through all of that. Wanda shows Alyona a vision of her messing up all of time and creating chaos. This makes Alyona even more scared of herself. (During the scene where she plays with all the avenger's minds) She sees her constantly rewinding and fixing time and jumping forward and backward until the world dissolved into chaos and everyone she loves is suffering. She's trying to save everyone but it just makes things worse.

Btw You can add anything you like to parts three, four and five since I didn't really have a whole lot planned out then. Maybe just building Steve and Alyona's relationship.

Part five: Civil War

Alyona cares about Bucky and doesn't agree to the accords since it limits her use of her abilities and takes away her choices. They might make her use her powers to rewind time when she doesn't want to, etc.

Before the big fight, Doctor Strange shows up and takes her with him to the sanctum. Alyona recognizes it of course and asks why she's back here. Doctor Strange asks her questions about her past.
After realizing he's the sorcerer supreme, she tells him everything from the start. Doctor Strange teaches her on why she shouldn't use her powers so poorly like she did in 1940. Alyona knows and agrees with him, but asks why he needs her. Since she is basically the same as the time stone, Doctor Strange asks her to stay and help him protect the sanctums. This was the reason why she left in the first place: because she doesn't want to live her life like that.

  Alyona refuses but Doctor Strange won't let her go. He says she's dangerous out there doing whatever she wants. He wants to supervise her so she doesn't make more mistakes. Alyona finds that she can't leave unless she uses her powers to go forward in time or back. Doctor Strange found a spell that didn't allow her to use her powers unless he granted her permission. Alyona has no choice but to stay and learn with Doctor Strange. (Btw the events of the movie Doctor Strange happened before this).
Steve is very worried while all this is going on.

After training with Doctor Strange for a bit, Alyona finds a way to break the spell. She escapes and goes looking for Steve. She finds him and he explains everything that happened in Civil War. Since he's an enemy of the state, Alyona stays undercover with him. They live quietly together.

Part six: Infinity War

Here's where it gets complex. Doctor Strange shows up again when Steve isn't around and takes Alyona with him. She meets Tony, Bruce and Wong at the sanctum where Doctor Strange explains the infinity stones and stuff.

Doctor Strange says they must protect Alyona and the Time Stone because they are basically one and the same, and their only hope of defeating Thanos.
Alyona and the others fight off the aliens attacking outside. She goes on the flying donut ship with Tony and Peter and Doctor Strange. Alyona and Peter get along really well and joke around.

Steve is at Wakanda and doing that stuff still very worried since Alyona disappeared again.

On Titan, they form a plan with the guardians. Alyona and Strange look forward in time to the different possibilities. Alyona watches Strange give the time stone to Thanos, sees him snap, watches Tony die in Endgame.
But she sees one thing that scares her. Her death. She just sees her dead body before she comes back to the real world.

Thanos arrives and they all try to beat him.
Tony and the others are fighting Thanos on Titan. Then Alyona puts herself in the Wakanda moment in an attempt to help Steve. Remember she can be in two places at once and act in each different place.
  She wants to use her powers because she knows that she could save Vision and kill all the enemy army, but if she rewinded time in Wakanda, it would also be rewinded on Titan.
She goes back to Titan and sees them lose the fight against Thanos and watches as he stabs Tony. Doctor Strange hands over the time stone, Tony begs Alyona to do something with her powers. She doesn't answer and just thinks over his words. Tony was desperate, and thousands and millions of lives were at stake.

Alyona watches as the Avengers fail to beat Thanos, and sees Wanda and Vision's last moments.
  All this is overwhelming because Alyona knows that she can save them but it might mess everything up. Just before Wanda goes to break Vision's infinity stone she panics and rewinds time to where Thanos first shows up on Titan. She freezes time and then kills Thanos. She starts time back up again, but looks around and sees all the dead Wakandan bodies. Alyona knows she can save them too, and she gets even more upset with herself and goes a bit crazy. She rewinds time even further, to before the fight, froze time, killed The Children of Thanos. But then the animals still attacked and killed people when she resumed time. Alyona is panicking and goes back even further in time, but she doesn't know when to stop. She kills the children of Thanos when they were attacking Vision at the start of the movie, that way they couldn't lead the army. But then Alyona needed to go back to kill the other guys who showed up outside the sanctum.
She ends up going back all the way to Thanos' birth and kills him when he's a baby.

Basically she goes to different points in time killing their enemies but she goes out of control and tries to save everyone when she needed to learn to let it go.

She finally releases time and goes back to Titan. None of the Avenegrs are there, nor the ship they came from.

She goes to Wakanda and finds no one there either. Alyona goes up to the palace and asks where the Avengers were. The Wakandans are confused and say the Avengers don't exist.
Alyona panics and is terrified of what she had done. She realized with horror that killing Thanos as a kid meant he never controlled Loki, who made the attack on New York happen. Without the attack, the Avengers wouldn't have been formed.

Alyona has a break down and is desperate to fix what she did, but she doesn't know how. She travels to the sanctums and finds Doctor Strange. He doesn't know who she is so she explains everything quickly. Doctor Strange says she ruined the timeline and made a bunch of different branches, making the world crumble into chaos. She would have to go back to the exact moment when she changed time and reverse it. Undo every action she did. It took a very long time, and drained her energy. In different moments, she would get attacked or hurt, so after many many times of fixing her mistakes, Alyona grows very weak and is injured in many places.

So Alyona goes back to Titan where the fight against Thanos would have been held. This was the last point in time she had to fix. She writes down on paper:

Strange will know what I did. The message below is for Steve:

I had a vision a few years ago. I saw myself destroying the world because I messed with the timeline too much. I rewound everything and froze time again and again, went forward in time, backward and went out of control. I saw myself destroying the world and it scared me. I tried not to use my powers after that, and even though I tried to stop myself, I couldn't.

My vision came true, and I just ruined the timeline. Long story, can't explain it. It will take nearly all of my energy and power to complete, and I'm not sure I will make it. I'm so sorry Steve. I love you with all my heart and wish I could spend eternity with you. You mean more to me than you could ever know. I would go to the ends of the earth for you, and if you were lost, I would not rest until I found you.
  I suppose we all run out of time at some point. Now, the hourglass has drained out, and I say goodbye.

Then she undos her actions and drains the last of her energy. Everything is fixed, but she falls on the ground and struggles to stay alive.
Tony and Strange and the rest of them see Alyona's body. In her hand lays the message. Strange explains what happened to her, because he saw what would occur in his visions.
  The snap happens and Infinity War ends.
Tony gives the message to Steve, who is heartbroken.

Then the epilogue shows Steve going to return the stones.
He travels back to the 1940's and marries Alyona.

Steve shows up after he kissed that girl, but before Alyona time traveled to the future.
He apologizes and says he loves her and wants to be with her. Alyona is thrilled and says she loves him too.

Steve tells her that they aren't needed in the army anymore and that the war is almost won. They get married and live happily ever after 😊

Remember: when Steve went back in time, he created an alternative timeline. So in one timeline, Alyona gets mad and travels to the future and all that happens. In this new timeline where they get married, it's separate from the other. It's not like there's 2 Captain America's at the same time, or that one Alyona is in the future while the other is married.

And that is my most complex plot 😂 I like the time travel idea but it's super complicated and I'm just not bothering getting the TVA involved loool.
Since Alyona controls all of time that makes her like a nexus being so technically she's outside of time and space, so the TVA can't stop her because she's essentially a god.
