If you see fan art or fan fiction that's based on a ship you don't like, it is NOT suddenly your personal duty to bash on it and the creator of said piece. Seriously, guys. Respecting the opinions of others is really important. Toxic fandoms are never fun.

17. YES. All the time. There are a few select people that I'm comfortable confiding in about anything, but around most other people, I have to be careful. It's not just teasing I'm worried about-it's downright criticism, discrimination, and hate.

18. I have, actually! went to the book signing in 2018 for Flashback (7th book of Keeper of the Lost Cities) and I met Shannon Messenger. A friend of mine and I sang her a song that I wrote about one of her characters (Keefe Sencen, I'll have you know) and she loved it!

19. I have an epic Carmen Sandiego sweatshirt from India that I received for Christmas. My grandma rocks. Also a Billie Eilish sweatshirt. And a Mockingjay pin, from Hunger Games.

20. Any time that I start crying at the mere THOUGHT of how amazing my children are. This... happens a LOT.
