Aiden's POV

"Hey mum, I'm home" I say as I enter the house.

"And before dinner" she says smiling as she hugs me. I kiss her cheek. We hear a floor board creak. "Looks like Tyler is home also" she states.

"Tyler!" I call and get no response. We go to the hallway to see a letter leaning against a vase. It was addressed to us both. I try to smell or hear Tyler as mum read the letter. I smell Tyler had been here, but I don't hear him.

"Oh no" mum says looking sad.

"What is it mum?" I ask her.

"Tyler's run away" she states. I take out my phone and call Tyler. But he doesn't answer.

"Damn it Tyler, answer the phone. Where are you?" I demand before hanging up.

"I'm calling the sheriff, call yours and Tylers friends. See if anyone has heard from him" she tells me. I nod my head and call Matt first.

"Aiden, what's up man?" he asks as soon as he picks up.

"Tyler has ran away, have you heard from him?" I ask him.

"I saw him about fifteen minutes ago. It sounded like he was going to see Caroline" he states. I thank him and hang up. I call Caroline, but she hasn't seen Tyler. Mum and I spend all night trying to find out where Tyler has gone. The only thing we know is that Jules has also left town. I'd bet anything that he left with her, but why? Just because we were having a disagreement?

(Next day) Carmen's POV

Aiden didn't call me last night, so I've decided to pay him a surprise visit. I notice Stefan is still not back from the Lake House. But I know he is coming back today with Elena. After their werewolf trouble last night. I heard him talking to Damon about it on the phone.

As I go to leave I see Damon talking on the phone. He's popular. I wave goodbye and race to the Lockwood Mansion. I arrive to find Aiden alone looking sulky. "Hey, what's wrong?" I ask him concerned.

"Tyler ran away last night, he left a letter" he states.

"Why would he run away? I thought you guys were going to work things out?" I ask him confused. As I sit on the table.

"So did I, but he left" he grumbles. "You don't think Damon did anything, do you?" he asks me.

"He would of left a text, but I'll call him" I state and call Damon.

"Hello little sister, what can I do for you?" he asks me.

"You wouldn't happen to know where Tyler Lockwood is by any chance?" I ask him.

"Not a clue, just heard from the Sheriff as you left that he ran away last night. My guess he's with that bitchy she wolf Jules" he states.

"Thanks Damon, see you later" I say and hang up. "He didn't do anything" I tell Aiden, who sighs in relief. "I wonder if him leaving had anything to do with the Lake House incident" I muse.

"What incident?" Aiden asks me.

"You know about the sun and moon curse?" I ask him.

"The one Elena has to die to break?" he asks and I nod my head. "What about it?" he asks me.

"Jules pack told him about it, not the part where Elena has to die. They told him how Mason was here for the moonstone. He then saw a photo of Katherine and told them about Elena. He and another went to try kidnap her last night. But then Stefan filled him in on how Elena has to die. So Tyler turned on the other wolf and Stefan killed it" I explain.

"Why would Tyler try to help them?" Aiden asks me.

"So you and him wouldn't have to change anymore" I state. "They told him if we broke the curse, you guys would suffer under the moon forever. But if they broke it, they could kill vampires" I explain. "He thought we were gearing up to break the curse, but we aren't. Why would we, when we can walk in sunlight because of our rings?" I ask him.

"I'm happy he made the right decision, I just wish he'd answer his phone" he says.

"When he's ready, I'm sure he'll call" I assure him. "Tell you what, I'll help you try track him down. I have a few contacts around the states. They owe me some favors" I tell him.

"You'd do that for me?" he asks me.

"He's your brother and I love you. What do you think?" I ask him smirking.

He kisses me passionately before pulling away. "That I love you" he states smiling. "Mum went to see the sheriff and she was thinking of making posters" he tells me.

"We'll find him" I assure him and take out my phone and call my old mate Dan.

"Well well, how may I help the Carmen Salvatore?" he asks me.

"I have a run away I need to find" I state.

"Name?" he asks as I hear him at his computer.

"Tyler Lockwood, age seventeen. Ran away from home last night. Last seen with a twenty five year old girl called Jules from Florida. Both werewolves, she was an alpha until her pack died recently" I state.

"I'll see what I can find" he tells me.

"Hope to hear from you soon" I tell him and hang up. Just then Carol returns. "Hi Mrs Lockwood, Aiden just told me about Tyler. I called an old P.I friend of my family. He's looking into things" I state.

"Thanks Carmen, that's a great help" she says with a sincere smile

"Anything for Aiden" I say shrugging. "Hope you don't mind me staying here and helping Aiden?" I ask.

"Of course not, I'm glad he has you for support" she states. "You can stay for dinner if you want, we were just going to order Indian food" she tells me.

"I love buttered chicken" I tell her.

"Great, you to behave while I go fill out some reports and make a post about Tyler" she states. Before leaving the room.

"So what do you want to do?" I ask Aiden.

"Play the Wii?" he suggests. I agree and we start doing Mario kart. Until I got tired of losing and we switched to Mario Party 8. We lose track of time and wouldn't of had lunch. If his mum hadn't of brought us a plate of sandwiches and glass of water each.

She then told us when dinner was ready and we ate in the dinning room. Afterwards I get a call from my P.I. He hadn't found anything yet, but is chasing a lead. Mrs Lockwood said I could stay the night, but in a separate room to Aiden. I thanked her and borrowed Aiden's shirt. Used a spare tooth brush, before calling it a night. Not knowing what was happening to Papa Elijah.
