(Mystic Falls High School) Carmen's POV

"How are you feeling?" I ask Aiden as we walk through school. Everyone is preparing for the booster BBQ.

"I'm okay. I'm sore, every muscle aches" he tells me.

"I can give you a massage later" I tell him and he smirks wrapping an arm around my waist. "The point is though, you did it. You know, you...your first full moon and you didn't hurt anyone. It'll get easier. You'll get better at it, you'll learn to control it and it won't hurt so much" I assure him.

"I hope so, I could never forgive myself if I hurt you" he tells me honestly. "Look, I really want to thank you. I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't been there" he tells me. "By the way, did you talk to Damon?" he asks me curious.

"No, that girl Jules is a wolf and attacked us last night while you were locked up. She bit his friend Rose, it wasn't a good time to ask about Mason" I tell him.

"Is she ok?" he asks me concerned.

"It healed last night, but she looked unwell this morning. I think the myth about the werewolf bite killing a vampire is true. And it is not quick" I tell him sadly.

"Hey, it'll be ok" he assures me and kisses my forehead tenderly. "Maybe there's a cure" he says optimistically.

"All the books I've read, say nothing about a cure. Trust me, if there was one. I'd know" I tell him. "Can we change the subject?" I ask him.

"Mum won't be home after school, how about we play a game of pool at the grill and then go to my place for some alone time" he suggests.

"What about Tyler?" I ask him.

"Spending the afternoon with Caroline last I heard" he tells me shrugging.

"Well then, I'd love to come over. I can show you how to make my famous omelet" I tell him.

"Can't wait" he says smiling.

(Time skip, Mystic Grill) Third Persons POV

"So she's dead?" Aiden asks Carmen as he sets up the pool table.

"Yes, but Damon made sure she went peacefully" I tell him.

"So he does have a heart" he teases and I shove him playfully. They start their game. Meanwhile Tyler takes a seat at Jules table.

"Thank you for coming" Jules says.

"Sorry Aiden isn't here, he's with his girlfriend over there" Tyler tells her nodding to the couple. Jules looks to see Aiden kiss Carmen's neck as she giggles. "So what do you want from me?" Tyler asks her.

"Just to be yours and Aiden's friend. Mason would have wanted that. I know about Mason, Aiden and you" she tells him.

"You know what?" Tyler asks her fawning confusion.

"I know you're a werewolf and I know your little friend Caroline is a vampire. Also that Aiden is a werewolf and Carmen is a vampire" she states. Tyler frowns looking up at his little brother, he didn't know he'd triggered his curse.

"How do you know about Caroline and Aiden?" he asks her.

"You can't sniff them out?" she asks him shocked. He doesn't answer. "Oh my god. You're brand new, I bet Aiden is too. How many times have you turned?" she asks him. He doesn't answer. Jules leans over and places her hand on his. "Hey I can help you and Aiden" she tells him.

Tyler feels uncomfortable and takes his hands off the table. Why would Aiden keep his curse a secret? "Do you know where Mason is?" he asks her.

"He's dead, Tyler. He was murdered" Jules tells him

"No" he says in denial.

"You want to know who murdered him?" she asks him.

"Just stop" he tells her.

"Your little blonde vampire did" she tells him.

"No, Caroline would never do that" he tells her.

"She and her little vampire friends were behind it, Tyler. Aiden's girlfriend is lying to him, you have to get him away from her" she tells him.

"Carmen is not a vampire, Caroline is the only vampire in town" Tyler tells her.

"Is that what she told you? She lied. This town is crawling with vampires but don't worry, we'll get them" Jules tells him.

"Who are you?" Tyler asks her.

"I'm your friend. There are others like us and they're on their way" she tells him. He leaves to go talk to his little brother.

(Lockwood kitchen) Carmen's POV

Aiden and I are listening to the twist as we make our omelets. He turns up the music as we wait for the butter to melt. I start to dance and have him join me. He turns me around a couple times making me giggle. I notice the butter has melted. "The butter" I tell him. He turns back to pan and pours the eggs into it. We sprinkle it with the cheese and chives. "Perfect" I say smiling and he folds it in half.

"Watch this" he tells me backing away from the stove. He attempts to flip the omelet and fails. When half of it lands on the floor. We both laugh.

"We can still eat that bit" I tell him giggling as I point to what's left in the pan.

"We still have enough ingredients for a second" he adds smiling. He puts the half omelet on the plate as Tyler enters the kitchen. "Hey Tyler, thought you were hanging with Caroline. Want an omelet?" Aiden asks him.

"Can I speak to you alone?" Tyler asks him eyeing me warily.

"I'll go freshen up" I tell Aiden smiling. He pecks me on the lips and I leave them to talk. Going to the rest room.

Aiden's POV

"What's up bro?" I ask Tyler once Carmen left.

"Why didn't you tell me you triggered your curse?" he asks me.

"How did you find out?" I ask him shocked.

"Jules, she also told me about the Salvatores being vampires and how they killed our uncle" he states.

"That's a lie, Carmen would of told me if she killed him. Besides it's not like he didn't deserve it" I tell him.

"What?!" he exclaims shocked.

"What do know how I triggered my curse? It was Mason's fault" I sneer.

"What do you mean?" he asks me confused.

"He outed Carmen and her brothers to the sheriff. They were going to kill them in the old Lockwood cellar. But first they tortured them for information. I went with Elena and Caroline to save them. When I saw one of the deputies hurting Carmen, I lost it and slammed him into the wall. He died" I explain. "If Mason is dead and the Salvatores had every right to kill him" I atate.

"He was our uncle!" Tyler yells.

"Who's the reason I have to break every bone in my body on a full moon!" I shout back. Carmen rushes in.

"Aiden, are you ok?" she asks me concerned.

"Lets get out of here" I tell her.

"You not going anywhere with her" Tyler snaps.

"You're not dad, you don't control me" I growl. "Get us out of here" I tell Carmen. She grabs me and speeds us out of the house. She stops at our spot.

"What happened? Are you ok?" she asks me.

"Mason is dead" I tell her as I breath heavily. "Tyler knows I triggered my curse and that you're a vampire. Along with your brothers" I state.

"How?" she asks me shocked.

"Jules" I tell her.

"Wait, Mason's dead?" she asks me.

"Yes, apparently your brothers killed him" I tell her.

"Oh Aiden I'm so sorry, had I known..." she starts to say. I silence her with a kiss.

"I don't blame you, it's his own fault he got killed. Not yours and you didn't know. I know you would of told me if you did" I assure her. "But Tyler is made, I don't know what he'll do" I tell her.

"We'll get through it together" she assures me.

"Can I stay at your place again? I don't want to be around Tyler" I tell her. She nods her head and we go to her house to find it empty. She smirks and kisses me passionately. "What was that for?" I ask her as I wrap my arms around her waist.

"We need a night off, we're alone and I love you Aiden" she tells me.

"I see where you're going with this and I love you too" I tell her and kiss her deeply. "Let me show you how much" I tell her. She smiles and leads me to her room. We make out removing each others clothes and ...
