👑Chapter 9: Time With Jafar's Son👑
A/N: Thanks to --badbxtch for the idea! To all the others, thanks for giving me great ideas! I'm sorry I haven't been updated in forever. I've just been so busy with so many things in the past year with family, etc. I've been struggling and I've also recently started college, so it makes it harder to update. Now, I'm currently on winter break, so here's the update you've all been waiting for! Hope you all enjoy it! It's a bit short, but bare with me, it's been so long.
Third Person P.O.V.
'That's two villain children. Now, let's try Jay.' Ben thought to himself. It was now day six of the villain kids staying in Auradon.
He walked with Ella until he got to the Tourney field. He knew that the only way he could get Jay and Ella to bond was through sports and there were so many he could think of.
"Ella, do you want to do sports?" he asked. "What's sports?" she asked. "You know, like baseball or tourney." he explained. "Tourney! Tourney!" she replied.
"I know just the person who can teach you. He's been pretty good at it." Ben replied.
He walked to where the Tourney field was and he saw Jay there in his gear, practicing as many shots as he could.
As they got closer, the prince greeted him.
"Hey, Jay."
The son of Jafar turned and looked at him. "Yo! What's up?"
"You remember Ella, right?" Ben asked.
Jay smiled a she saw the little girl wave at him.
"Yeah! Hi there." he greeted the young princess.
"Hi, Jay." she replied in a singy voice, making Jay silently die.
"She wants to learn how to play Tourney, so I was wondering if you could teach her, since you're seemingly really good at it." Ben explained.
"Coach said girls can't play Tourney." the son of Jafar explained.
"So? Sometimes, rules are meant to be broken and who knows? Maybe girls will break the glass ceiling to play Tourney. Do it for Ella." the prince added.
Ella gave Jay her puppy dog eyes and pout, making him give in and smile.
"Okay." he said as Ella's eyes lit up.
Ben sat his sister down as he pat her head. "I'll be back soon, okay?"
"Okay, Benny!" she said before he walked off the field.
"Want to start?" Jay asked the girl. She nodded and he smiled.
Soon, he was helping her by showing her the moves and everything.
"And you go like this." he explained as he did a flip and used the Tourney stick to throw a ball.
Ella did what he said and she nailed it, but in the process, fell to the ground.
Luckily, she wasn't hurt.
"It's okay, Els. Let's try that again."
Ella did what Jay was teaching her on the field, but she couldn't get the ball to go in the net. After so many tries, she was close to the brink of crying.
"This is so hard! I will never be as good as Benny." she said as she wiped her teary cheeks.
Jay knelt down in front of the girl and placed his hand on her shoulder.
"You can do it, little one. You have strength in here. Unleash it and before you know it, you'll be able to shoot the ball into the net. Let's try again, okay?" he asked.
She smiled and nodded before sniffling.
"Come on."
Jay let Ella have the ball and she ran before doing a flip and throwing the ball to the net. Once she made the goal, she gasped.
"I did it!" she cheered as she jumped up and down. "Good job, Ella!" Jay said.
Following Jay's instructions, Ella made a couple more goals with ease and if you saw her now, you would think she had been playing since birth.
Jay couldn't help but smile at her doing backflips and stuff. He knew she was a gifted child and it just made him feel an urge to protect her like a brother with his sister.
He knew that with all of this, she could be the key to help girls play Tourney and start a revolution in Auradon Prep's sports league.
He felt like bailing out of the plan and being there for Ella.
Soon, he decided to let her have a break, so he got a water and a juice with some snacks from the vending machines inside the gym.
"Thank you for helping me, Jaybear. I can't wait to play when I'm a big girl." she said as she drank her juice.
"No problem, Els. I'm always here, okay?" he asked.
She nodded before she heard footsteps and saw Ben there with a smile on his face.
"Did you have fun?" he asked them.
"Yes! He taught me how to do flips and shoot the ball!" Ella replied.
"She killed it out there, man. She's amazing at this." the son of Jafar commented.
"That's amazing. Want to go see Carlos?" the prince offered.
"Yes!" Ella replied.
Jay and Ben chuckled before she hugged the VK and went with her brother.
"Bye, Jaybear." she said.
"Bye, Ella." he replied.
Ben smiled as he knew his sister was winning over the VKs and they were warming up to her and letting her be herself around them.
Now, there was only one left.
Ben had a bit of worry in him as the final one was his sister's biological brother from an entirely different family and background.
It was worth the shot and the risk.
