Time Warp

Dear Diary:
As we continued to stare at the blue man-thing on the ground, it or he finally stirred and opened his eyes. When he did that, we noticed that his eyes were purple. Another unnerving and yet intriguing facet of this being. He looked around and when he saw us standing not far from him, he jerked to his feet. Wow, he was tall; I'd have to say that he was Alexander's height and Emmett's girth. He looked at all of us and as usual, the Watchers were bringing up the front as Emmett and Jasper flexed their muscles and with their cold stares, they were at our flanks.
"Where am I?" The blue man said in a deep baritone voice.
"Well that answers one question; he speaks English." Seth said as others nodded. At least we could understand each other.
"I asked a question." The blue man said arrogantly. Nope, not going to work. Rogue looked at him then with her eyes narrowing.
"Actually, I will be the one asking the questions seeing as you're in one of our dimensions; let's start off by what is your name and where you're from." She said coldly. The blue man looked at her and saw that she not only held his gaze but didn't blink. He sensed she wasn't one to mess around with and answered:
"I am Ronan, The Accuser."
"The Accuser? Of what? Who did you accuse?" Rosalie asked confused. We all looked at him the same way. That was one hell of a title.
"Ok Ronan, where are you from? How did you get here or rather what do you remember last?" Rogue continued.
"I am Kree from the planet Hala and the last thing I remember was being destroyed by the Guardians of the Galaxy. I was supposed to be dead but then I woke up here, wherever here is." He stopped talking then.
"So he's from a different planet and galaxy altogether; how on earth did he get here?" Edward asked.
"Earth. This is earth?" Ronan asked. Rogue nodded before answering Edward's question.
"Most likely through a time warp. But there had to be a catalyst to get him here out of all of the other dimensions. A give and take of sorts. He was brought here for a reason and in order for him to get here and not be destroyed during whichever war he was fighting back in his world; both sides and many other places got the interdimensional mergence."
"Anyone else feel like they were just clocked over the head by a Stephen King science fiction novel?" Emmett grumbled. A few nodded in agreement.
"So you are all mortal?" Ronan asked than. We shook our heads.
"No, none of us are mortal." I replied this time.
"But you are humans." He continued to try and understand who we were.
"Some version of that, I suppose." I said. He looked at me puzzled then as Rogue took over again.
"We are a combination of Watchers, vampires, and shapeshifting werewolves." She pointed to each kind as she listed us off.
"What is a shapeshifting werewolf?" Ronan asked confused and yet intrigued though you couldn't really tell his expressions from his blue black face.
Rogue pointed to Seth who phased right in front of Ronan after stepping to the side so he wouldn't harm any of us. Ronan's eyes grew wide seeing Seth in wolf form. Seth then phased back and ran behind a tree to put clothes on before reemerging. Meanwhile, Rogue explained to Ronan that because he was chucked out into this dimension he had lost a lot of his former power which reminded me of the conversation we had the night the Pterodactyl visited when Edward asked why Rogue couldn't go to that dimension and stabilize it and her mentioning it was unknown if the Watchers would retain their powers there. Ronan obviously hadn't when he appeared on the other side.
In all essence, Ronan had traveled back in time through various black holes via the time warp that grabbed a hold of him upon the moment of his destruction and when he was thrown out on the other side, the only power he retained was immortality and brute strength; which basically meant that he was like Emmett in build and strength. Why he was there, was still not understood as he himself didn't even know. Hades meanwhile was watching the conversation wondering what was next. He knew only Rogue could fix things. Reading his mind, she had an idea.
"The first thing I must do is set the dimensions back to their rightful places and fix our skies. Ronan will hold for now as will the reason for why he's here in the first place. We have creatures' ill because of the bleeding together of the dimensions. In order to fix this problem, I need my books from back home. Also, Alexander, I will bring you your sketch pad and pencils. I want you to draw the sky for me."
"Can't you take a picture of the sky with a digital camera?" He asked as she shook her head.
"No dear, because even though a digital camera has high resolution, it won't show the edges of the sky that start one dimension and end a different one. We can only see that with our naked eyes. Also, I will ask Leah and Bella to help me." The ladies were standing behind and came forward with their eyebrows raised.
"Why us?" Leah was the one that asked as Rogue smiled.
"Because you two love putting jigsaw puzzles together and we're dealing with the biggest one our worlds have ever seen. In order to put humpty-dumpty together again, we need to reassemble the sky. That's where my ancient texts and Alexander's drawings come in."
Everyone nodded than as we all stood back and Rogue created a portal that led toward home as Ronan watched in shock. Rogue walked through it and it stayed open as she went back to our world and her house and found the texts as well as Alexander's art supplies and came back through the portal but she didn't close it.
"I want most of you to go home. Corin you're pregnant, I would feel better if you went back along with Nessie, the Denali clan, Seth, Peter, Keith, Esme, Jacob, and Edward. The rest can stay here if they want. I would like to ask Carlisle to look after the Hydra as it seems to be in worse shape than Cerberus."
"I want to stay with Cerberus and I know grandma Esme wants to be with the Hydra." Nessie protested to our Watcher leader and queen.
"Nessie, I understand you wanting to help but you are the only hybrid human here and right now we need as little going wrong as possible. If anyone was to get harmed anyway, you'd be the first and I know your grandparents and parents would prefer you to be safe. Esme can stay if she so pleases." Esme nodded at Rogue relieved to be allowed to stay.
That's when the group asked to leave, did so without any more protestations. They knew Rogue had her hands full and didn't want to cause her anymore issues. The ones that remained were Leah, Bella, Amy, Alexander, Kim, Michelle, Esme, Jasper, Alice, Emmett, Rosalie, Rogue, and I. Hades was also there. The others went back and as they went through the portal back home, Keith closed it. They understood that because of so many unknowns it was wise to have two Watchers back home with any and all from the rest of the world on standby at any point.
Back on the other side, Rogue was juggling her ancient texts and Alexander was holding his art supplies just as a voice appeared out of nowhere followed by a familiar face with wings.
"Listen, why don't you use my castle for your research and whatnot? Doing all of that in the middle of the forest will not be very comfortable and a lot of things can get done faster there." Cupid said as he appeared before Rogue and the rest of us with a smile.
"What about him?" Amy asked Cupid nodding towards Ronan who was as silent as a heart attack.
"Bring him with you. I doubt he'll be running anywhere you can't catch him and it's not like he can go back to wherever he came from."
"I agree, that way we can all take turns watching him while you try to fix the clusterfuck in the sky uninterrupted." Another voice said before his body appeared; Aries, God of War was followed by Death on her grey cloud. Everyone save for Michael the Archangel was now in attendance. This interdimensional mergence due to Ronan's time warp got all of the Gods of the other side concerned. We'd never seen them all together save for the day that we first met them.
"Alright, that would make things easier." Rogue agreed with a smile.
Death stood close to Ronan and I could tell that the large blue man was very creeped out by her because she had no face as it was hidden behind her hood and her arms and hands were skeletal. She motioned him to walk forward which he did. She hadn't said a word at this point. We all walked in a clump more or less with Cupid leading the way. Soon, however, we were not far from where the Hydra was still lying on the ground.
Though I had no idea how to possibly treat it, I could do the very basic checkup and it was a lot easier for me to do so with only 1 of its 9 heads visible. As I walked towards the mighty dragon, I motioned Esme towards me and she came forward and I put my arm around her as we both came closer to the Hydra. What no one but Rogue saw was the change of Ronan's expression when Esme and I made contact. It was obvious to him that we were mates and his expression was one of recognition and pain. It was something that Rogue tucked away in her mental cortex for later. One thing at a time.
I looked over the Hydra as Esme stroked its giant head. It looked at her with its massive eyes and you could tell that it was soothed by her presence. After we were sure it would last the night, we walked onward to Cupid's castle. There we had our usual wings for resting and Ronan was given quarters in the center of the yard where everyone could watch him. Rogue meanwhile, got all of her books on a big table in the mess hall and spread them out as she studied them meticulously. Alexander sat outside and drew the sky with Leah and Bella looking over his shoulder and suggesting when to make something lighter or darker.
While this was going on, Emmett and Rosalie were watching Ronan pacing back and forth in the castle proper. Esme and I had gone back to where the Hydra was with Hades and then over to Cerberus. I was learning how to take care of mythical creatures even with basics like keeping them hydrated. So that left the former two currently on watch over our extraterrestrial newcomer. Emmett, who had the patience of a fly, got antsy pretty quickly.
"How long do we have to keep watch over the giant pissed off walking blue skittle?" Rose rolled her eyes.
"As long as we must; quit acting like a baby, our kids are more mature then you!" She chided him as he sighed and settled back in a chair.
Though Emmett's assessment of Ronan was childish, it wasn't far off the mark. But at least, though we had no idea what he was doing there, he couldn't harm us. That was important. And Rogue along with Alexander, Leah, and Bella were trying to put our sky and all of the dimensions back into their proper locations and possibly secure them forever. After that, we could perhaps learn more about Ronan and figure out why this whole mess started in the first place. But here we were, vampires coming face to face with technically an alien from another galaxy, light years away.
And who ever said our lives were boring?
