Carlisle P.O.V.

I can't let the thought go away what Esme did. Drinking together of an animal. This is wrong. I need to tell her that what she is doing is wrong. When could I tell her this?

We're now home for 3 hours and nobody is doing anything. I don't know where to look.

Perhaps now is the best time?

I take a deep breath and look around me. Jasper and Alice are in the living room and Emmet and Rose are upstairs.

I hear a sound in the kitchen and run to the kitchen.

Esme is assorting some food in the kitchen. It's food for Bella.

"I thought, I should keep it clean because of all the dust," Esme explains when she sees my confused face.

"Oh... okay. Uwm Esme Could I have a talk with you?" I ask cramped .

"Sure," says Esme.

"Do you want to go outside."

I nod and we run outside.

When we are far from our house I look straight into Esme's eyes.

"Esme. I don't know how to say this nicely. What you're doing right now is bad. You drank from the same animal as I do. That's what we did when we loved it each other. It's more then love each other but show the the person your love for him. You know I love Bella. You love me but I did love you but now it's Bella. Bella is my mate and if you can't let it go. I think you should go then," I say and I feel something breaks deep inside my body.

There's still something in my body that loves Esme. We we're together like 80 years. That's nothing compared with Bella. But Bella is my mate.

"I know Carlisle. I can't stop loving you anymore. But I love Bella as much you do. I want the best for both of you. I think you should remind yourself, what if..."

"No. I will not!"

"Please Carlisle. Close you eyes and think about it," Esme says.

I close my eyes and all the memories about Bella are played off. Our first meeting and when I noticed she was my mate. When I found her in the castle and how I was the happiest person on earth. Our wedding and when I showed her my deepest love on the island.

"Do you see her?"

"Yes," I say.

Suddenly I feel some lips on my mouth and I kiss her back. All the memories of Bella are in my head and I am with her. I have her into my hands.

Unexpectedly the lips are gone and I open my eyes. Esme is gone. All the memories of Bella are gone. The only thought I've is Esme's happy face when I declared her, she was my mate.

My thoughts are mixed up with thousand emotions. I sit down on the ground and my head fall into my hands.

I don't know what to do anymore.
