Carlisle P.O.V.

I am so scared. Scared if Bella is still alive and scared if she isn't. And what is she is hurt and I can't help her?

"We could meet everyone here tomorrow 10 a.m and search another direction," Esme questioned and points her finger to La push on the map.

"Yes. I'll call the others," I say and grab my phone out of my pocket.

We didn't find Bella. The scent stopped at a supermarket and she wasn't there. So now we're going to search city to city. Jasper and Alice are 6 blocks away and Emmet and Rose are back in Forks. We all meet tomorrow in La push.

"Shall we hunt?" asks Esme.

"Yes. That's actually a good idea," I say and can't remember when I have eat. All my thought go to Bella.

"Go on!" yells Esme and we started to run to the closest forest.

I run so fast I could into the forest and Esme is 6 meters ahead.

I hear her laugh and some memories popped in my head.

When Esme was my wife a long time ago we always hunt together 
She next to me. We were made for each other. Till I met my new love,  Bella.

"I'm faster than you," yells Esme behind me and I look back and suddenly she bumps into me and we fall down.

When I open my eyes I see Esme is above me. Her soft face and her eyes. Her eyes are red but I don't care. Her smile is the smile I remember. The beautiful smile she always has on her mouth.

"If you didn't look ahead we weren't bumped into each other," she laughs.

"It could be," I say and smile to her.

There's some sound behind us and I look behind me.

Alice and Jasper are standing there and I see two shocked faces. I stand up and look into a sad face. Alice sad face and that remembers me that this looks very weird.

"Are you hunting too?" asks Esme with a friendly voice.

"Yes, until we heard some laugh," says Alice with a not happy face.

Nobody say something.

"Shall we continue hunting," Jasper says and we nod and run all to another direction.

This will not happen again. I say to myself and run deeper into the forest.

Esme is so smart and Carlisle. Carlisle is sad about Bella. Shall Esme's plan work for trying Carlisle to fall in love with her again? Or is Carlisle love for Bella stronger?
