Your p.o.v

You run and run, holding your fractured arm close to your chest. It Burns like fire and you hear the brainless behind you. You steal a glance and see about six of them, a sob erupts from your chest and your lungs hurt. You want to just surrender. Your mom is running next to you and is carrying your little brother in her arms. His frail body limp from hitting his head on a rock. Your knife is in your hand and you turn to stab the brainless closest to you in the head. Your mom screams as a brainless grabs her shoulder and she kicks it back with her foot. You run to her aid and stab it in the head. But stopping for only a couple of seconds allowed the brainless to catch up.

The brainless surround you and you stab the ones that try to grab you guys. There are too many and you know your doomed.

From behind the growing group of brainless you hear gunshots and the 'ping' of a crossbow. A brainless grabs your hair from behind and you wip around getting ready to stab him in the head , but it falls at your feet with a stab mark in it's head from behind. You look up and see piercing blue eyes and dark hair spilling out from a sheriffs hat. You both stare at each other for what seems like eternity until a guy with a resemblance to the kid starts talking. You direct your eyes to look at your beat up old Nikes. The blood stains on the mud caked white shoes looks menacing and something you would find on a killers boots.

"Are you ok?" The guy with the beard that could be this kids relative asks.

Your mom is still sobbing while a guy with one leg inspects your brother. You just nod your head.

A/N: Hey guys this is my first Walking Dead fan fiction let alone my first put-you-as-the -main-character thing. I know it's a little sad right now ,but you just wait! I know y'all have some humor in you so trust me you'll be cracking some jokes pretty soon! :)
