We were at practice on the 31st day of December. We were working hard and eventually we got to skate around with our family and friends. I had my sister Lily with me. She's fifteen and super sweet. We spent time having fun and talking. I was racing Tyler when I fell into Miro.

     "Heh, sorry, Miro," I giggled.

     "I have something I want to show you," He said leading me to the center of the ice. He took his gloves off and I did the same thing. He reached into a small pocket in his shorts. He pulled out a small box and tears filled my eyes as he got on one knee. Everyone noticed and gasped.

     "You're so amazing, Sky. I love you so much and I know that you are the one for me. Skyler Smith, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" He asked opening up the box to reveal a beautiful ring.

     "Oh my God! Yes, yes, yes, yes!" I screamed. I hugged him and began to cry as he held me. I kissed him and everyone came around, hugged us, and congratulated us. 

     That night after celebrating our engagement and New Years Eve we were lying in bed holding each other. I was so happy! 

     "What time of the year do you want us to have the wedding?" Miro asked lying in bed next to me.

     "I've always imagined a fall wedding," I smiled thinking about it.

     "That does sound awesome," He said kissing the top of my head. I smiled as we talked late into the night.

     "This is the happiest day of my life," Miro smiled.

     "Yet!" I said smirking.

     "What do you mean 'Yet'?" He asked.

     "The happiest day of your life should be on our wedding day," I smiled.

     "Oh, of course," He smiled. I kissed him and we fell asleep.
