"oh shit he's gonna kill me." Gwen muttered.

"awe he's so adorable!" Ben cheered. Kevin glared at both of them. after a brief battle a few hours ago, Gwen had promised to heal his broken arm, instead she turned him into a dog. a German Shepherd mixed with Alaskan Malamute to be exact.

"I swear Kevin I didn't mean to!" Gwen cried. Ben knelt and hugged his neck.

"he's so soft." Ben giggled. Kevin whined and tried to use his paw to push Ben away. Ben was completely clueless to this and continued to hug him as if he was just a normal dog.

"what are we going to do with him Ben? my lease doesn't allow pets." Gwen said. Ben shrugged.

"mine does. I'll take him with me. I'll hit pet smart on the way home and get some stuff for him. c'mon Kevin." Ben smiled, waiving Kevin over to him. Kevin stared at him a moment from where he sat. suddenly a thought came to him, this was probably the only chance he'd ever get to live and cuddle with his crush. his tail wagged at that thought and he got up, trotting over to Bens side. Ben pet his head and lead the way to pet smart. Ben checked his watch. "yes! if we hurry at pet smart we can catch Boss Baby. I want to see that movie how about you?" Ben ask. Kevin barked and continued walking. "is that a no?" Ben ask curiously as they walked into pet smart. Kevin sniffed around while Ben looked at collars. "Kevin pick out a collar." Ben said. Kevin looked over, uninterested, and grabbed a spiked collar laying it at Ben's feet. Ben nodded and picked it up, checking to make sure it would fit him. Kevin yelped when Ben pinched him with it, then bit Ben's hand. not hard enough to hurt him, just enough to get him to not do it again. "sorry Kevin." Ben said, leaning over him to look over the back of his neck. "I don't see any blood. sorry about that." Ben said standing back up. he grabbed a leash and tossed them in to a basket. he carried it over to the dog food section and grabbed a random brand, tossing some dog treats in with it. Kevin frowned watching him, it was like Ben didn't even realize he was still him. maybe he didn't.... this could be really good for Kevin. "want a toy Kevin?" Ben ask. Kevin looked around boredly.

"may I suggest a toy for him?" a voice ask. Ben and Kevin turned. it was a man, who clearly worked there. "hi, I'm Larry. can I help?" Larry ask. Ben recognized him as Cash Murray's brother, but nodded any way.

"sure go a head." Ben replied. Larry nodded and picked up a large ball that squeaked.

"this is every big dogs favorite. our best seller." Larry said squeaking it for Kevin. Kevin looked at it boredly and grabbed a cow themed dog chew toy.

"Kevin doesn't seem interested." Ben said. he smiled and took the cow. "anything else Kevin?" Ben ask. Kevin made sure to ovoid any toys Larry tried to give him. "I don't think he likes you putting those in his face." Ben commented.

"all dogs love this toy." Larry said.

"we've got this ourselves thanks." Ben said, looking at some of the dog pool toys. "awe look Kev, they got a bunch of alien toys." Ben laughs softly. Kevin looked over and he was shocked to find an Echo Echo toy. he grabbed it and it down, pressing it to see if it squeaked. when he wasn't disappointed, he picked it up and sat with it beside Ben's feet. Ben looked at him, confused. "really? of all the aliens here for you to chew up, you want to kill my favorite?" Ben ask. Kevin looked up at him , the toy still in his mouth. Larry reached over and tugged Ben gently towards more dog toys, causing him to trip and nearly fall. Kevin growled, barking and snapping at Larry until he stepped away from Ben. "easy Kevin. it was just an accident." Ben said. Kevin growled putting himself between the sales man and Ben. "no sit Kevin. sit." Ben glared. Kevin growled softly, at being treated like a dog, but sat glaring the man. Ben pet his head gently, scratching his ears. Kevin growled quietly at the man in front of him and Ben.

"sorry I didn't mean to trip." Larry said. Ben nodded.

"I know." Ben replied. "Kevin doesn't though." Ben added, petting Kevin's head again. Kevin barked softly, but stayed seated.

"that's okay." Larry smiled, reaching to pet Kevin, who snapped at his hand.

"Kevin! no!" Ben chided. Kevin growled and moved to sit behind Ben. "he doesn't like people sorry." Ben told Larry. Ben paused as he caught something behind Larry. "awe! look Kevin! it's one of those leather jackets." Ben said. "you'd look adorable in it." Ben teased. Kevin barked at him warningly. Ben laughed softly. "alright Kevin, let's get this stuff and get you back to my apartment." Ben smiled. Kevin picked up the Echo Echo chew toy in his mouth and followed behind Ben wagging his tail. Ben rolled his eye's and took the toy, putting it and the other stuff on the counter to buy the items. once he bought everything he knelt and slipped the collar over Kevin's head and attached the tag, with his address on it. "there, can have you getting lost." Ben smiled. Kevin barked at him, making a note to himself in the back of his mind, to buy Ben a dog when he got back to normal. he followed Ben out of the store.

"sir you have to put him on a leash." a store employee said. Ben pouted but nodded, putting a leash on Kevin. Kevin whined, pawing at the leash and collar.

"no I'll take the leash off when we get home." Ben said. Kevin whined but followed Ben.

*Bens apartment*

Kevin had never been in Bens apartment, since the young hero had only had it for about a month. he was amazed at how clean the apartment was when he walked in. Ben took the leash off and pet Kevin's head.

"alright. get a good look around okay? just try not too piss on my carpets or anything. there's a doggie door on the back door, go shit in the back yard." Ben said. Kevin sniffed around until he found Bens room. Kevin walked around the room, it was unusually clean. "no toilet drinking." Ben glared, setting a bowl of water and a bowl of kibble in the bedroom floor. "there's also bowls in the kitchen for you as well." Ben added. Kevin scratched at the collar around his neck. Ben jumped at a knock on his front door. "oh shit I forgot he was coming over!" Ben shouted. he threw off the shirt and shorts he was wearing, running over to his closet in just his boxers. Kevin watched him run around and get dressed. confused, he followed Ben down to the door. Ben smiled opening it.

"hey babe, thought you might have forgotten I was coming over." a man said. Kevin made a confused noise, who was this man?

"hey Leo." Ben smiled, leaning up to kiss him. Kevin growled softly, barking at the man. he pulled back and looked at the dog.

"who is that?" Leo ask. Ben grabbed Kevin's collar and pulled him back.

"this is Kevin." Ben said. "Kevin stop it, do not attack him." Ben said. Leo chuckled.

"not going to try and get me while I kiss my boyfriend are you?" Leo teased as he came in and closed the door. Kevin growled at those words. he was so confused, he never would have realized Ben was gay, if he had, he would have asked him out years ago! Ben smiled at Leo.

"oh! did you bring the movies?" Ben ask excitedly.

"sure did! and I hope you enjoy them!" Leo said. Ben sat on the couch excitedly.

"put them in!" Ben said. Kevin growled and jumped up onto the couch beside Ben, cuddling to him side. Ben was his and he was not going to let this asshole take him away. Ben hugged his neck. "awe Kevin's gonna watch them with us." Ben smiled. "what movies did you bring?" Ben ask.

"17 again, We are the Millers, The Hangover, and Sausage Party." Leo said. Kevin growled at those movies. Kevin knew those movies, he wasn't innocent like Ben was. he knew what Leo was doing, he wanted Ben and Kevin was not going to let that happened. Kevin laid out in such away his body put at least a cushion between them, laying his head on Ben's lap. Ben pet Kevin's head smiling. Kevin glanced over at Leo, he looked pissed at Kevin.

"what movie did you put in?" Ben ask.

"Sausage Party." Leo replied. as they watched the movies, Ben grew more and more uncomfortable, until a storm took the power out. "damn it was just getting good." Leo muttered. Ben got up awkwardly.

"yeah, but it's getting late... you should probably go." Ben said. Leo nodded slightly.

"I'll be back in a few days, I'm still spending the weekend with you, right?" Leo ask. Ben nodded.

"wouldn't miss it for the world." Ben smiled. Kevin watched them kiss and Leo left. Kevin jumped at the thunder, it was much louder as a dog then it was as a human. Ben pet Kevin's head, scratching his ears gently. "come on Kev, let's go to bed." Ben said. Kevin followed Ben to his bedroom. "I put a doggie bed over there." Ben said as he climbed into his bed. he turned off the lamp and was just settling in, when Kevin jumped up onto the bed and curled up beside Ben, yawning. Ben looked over at him. "bed not comfy?" Ben ask worriedly. Kevin stretched and curled up staring blankly at Ben. Ben hugged him gently. "that's okay, hope you don't mind, I cuddle." Ben giggled softly. Kevin cuddled to him and Ben smiled happily. Kevin knew he had to tell Ben that he loved him asap. he knew Ben probably wouldn't chose him over his current boyfriend, but that was okay.

*next morning*

Ben stretched as he got up. he paused looking over at Kevin.

"Kevin? why are you all covered in mud?" Ben ask. Kevin looked over and whined, scratching himself, Ben could already see the patch balding from the scratches. "fleas? you have fleas don't you. mud is supposed to help with those I guess. here come on, I'll give you a bath... then clean the house and go get you a flea collar. come on." Ben said getting up. he wanted something to eat but making sure his friend, who currently couldn't care for himself, was taken care of was his top priority. Kevin followed him, scratching and gnawing at other inching body parts.
