The Chamber of Secrets was the main talk of the school and it did not help that Filch kept pacing at the spot where Mrs. Norris had been attacked. When he was not guarding the scene of the crime, he was lunging out at students for doing little to nothing. Many students had turned their backs to Slytherins and surprisingly to Harry Potter.

The Malfoy twins were always accompanied by another older student of their House because rumor has it that one of them is possibly the heir and to prevent any sudden attacks towards them , the older students decided that best be protected.

That act did not go unnoticed by the rest of the student body and the rumors began getting more intense as threats began to fall towards Carina and Draco. They usually ignored them but when the other part would raise it's wand then without hesitation they would also fire back. The main reason why the twins gained so many detentions.

The days went by and the date of the first Quidditch Match finally arrived. When Carina and Draco went down to breakfast, they sat down with the Slytherin Team who were huddle together, all looking upright and not speaking at all. Carina felt a little nervous, how could she not? She was the Seeker which meaning having the biggest burden of the team. This was a big match, Slytherin VS Gryffindor,  and the first team to win was going to set the bar extremely high.

As eleven o'clock approached, the whole school started to make its way down to Quidditch stadium the two teams were already at the locker rooms. It was a muggy day with a hint of thunder in the air. Now, the Slytherin team is not one of those teams who make a big speech before every game, no of course they weren't.

The minute before they step to the field Flint turned to Carina and asked seriously "Are you going to catch the Snitch? Are we going to win?" Carina just smirked as did everyone else without answering.

Everybody was already cheering when the two teams walked out it only increased, most for the Gryffindors. However some Hufflepuffs, like Cedric Diggory were cheering for Slytherin. As Madam Hooch made Wood and Flint shake hands. In a couple of seconds, there was a whistle, a roar from the crowd and they were on.

Fourteen players rose to the air. Carina rose the most with Harry not far behind. As Carina was flying she felt a Bludger pass her by and shelling towards Harry. He, fortunately (or unfortunately?) avoided it. One of the Weasley twins streaked past the boy and gave the Bludger a powerful whack in the direction of the closest Slytherin which was Carina.

Draco seeing this flew quickly before his sister ready to hit it with his bat,however the Bludger changed direction in midair and shot straight for the Potter boy. Draco with a dumbfounded expression turned at his sister who frowned in return while she flew near him then they watched as once again Harry dodged it and the Weasley aimed it towards their Malfoys. But yet again, it swerved and shot at Potter's head.

"Did you do something at the Bludger, Cara?" Draco asked knowing how competitive his sister can get.

Carina shook her head "No. Continue playing, I'll search for the Snitch." she responded as the other Weasley twin swung at the Bludger to a different Slytherin this time but it went after Potter again.

It began to rain and Slytherin was leading with sixty points. The Weasley twins were now flying extremely close to Harry on either side. They signed something to their Captain and they all were given a time out.

The Slytherins gathered around, Flint looked over at every single player "Did any of you tampered that Bludger?" they shook their head as Carina questioned" Are they not usually locked in Madam Hooch's office until the day of a game?".

Marcus nodded "Well it seems like luck is with us today. Lady Carina do find the Snitch before Potter," he said in a polite manner making Carina blink with void blue eyes.

They heard Hooch's whistle through the noise and they were off once again. Carina flew around the field searching for the Snitch as Harry rolling in the air and doing ridiculous moves making the crowd laugh at him. Yes, he looked foolish but the Bludger was still after him.

Something gold caught Carina's eye and at once she dived down. Harry also seeing the Snitch followed her lead. Everybody stopped and watched as the two second years raced towards the Snitch. They were neck to neck, hands stretched, however Carina was closer and at the moment she had the Snitch in her hand she felt an enormous pain in her elbow forcing her fall from her broom and roll over the ground.

"Malfoy caught the Snitch! The Slytherin Seeker is down!" yelled Jordan Lee thought the speakers, not at all happy while the Slytherins cheered then everyone gasped.

Carina groaned, she tried to stand up when she felt a hand in her back "Malfoy! Are you alright?" Harry asked concerned checking for any other injuries.

"CARINA!" Draco shouted as he flew down to her pushing Potter away with a shove to the ground "What wrong? Are you in pain? Did you hurt your head?" he fretted over as he grabbed her face checking her head moving her hair away from her face.

"I think she broke her arm Malfoy." said Harry as he sat next to Carina again making Draco scowl at him "What is it to you Potter?" he spat.

The Slytherin team surround her,while the Gryffindors were not far behind. Lockhart came to the view with Cedric, Hermione and Ron who neared towards them. Carina stared at Lockhart with a suspicious look giving her brother a look of indignation. 

"She doesn't need a photo of this Colin!" Harry said loudly pushing the Gryffindor's camera away.

"Lie back Miss Malfoy." said Lockhart soothingly "It's a simple charm I've used countless times!"

"No!" shouted Harry and Draco simultaneously but Lockhart paid no mind.

"Nothing to worry I can fix it." he said.

"That's alright Professor, I can just go to the Hospital Wing." stated Carina through clenched teeth.

"She should really, Professor." said Flint grinning. I don't think that anyone has ever seen him grin or anything. "Great capture Lady Carina! Really spectacular!"

"If that Bludger wasn't-" started Wood.

"Stand back!" said Lockhart, rolling up his sleeves.

"No! Do not dare!" warned Carina weakly.

Lockhart twirled his wand and a second later, had directed it straight at Carina's arm. For just a moment, nothing happened, Carina almost sighed in relied then her arm flopped downwards. There were no more bone in her arm. While everyone around her gasped and the Gryffindor boy began to click with his camera madly, Carina just stared blankly at her bone-free arm then to Lockhart's nervous smile.

"Ah." said Lockhart "Yes, well, that can sometimes happen. But the point is, the bones are no longer broke1 That's the thing to bear in mind!"

"She's got no bones!" bellowed Harry angrily.

"You incompetent fool! Wait till my father hears about this!" warned Draco glaring at him as he helped his sister up with Cedric's help without hearing anything else.

Draco kept cursing Lockhart under his breath on their way to the Hospital wing. Carina and Cedric kept silent not wanting to anger the boy anymore. Once they entered the wing, Madam Pomfrey was not Happy. Not at all.

"You should have come straight to me!" she raged, holding Carina's lime arm 'I can mend bones in a second! But growing them back!" she sighed in a furious manner.

"You will be able to, won't you?" asked Cedric frowning.

"I'll be able to, certainly! But it will be painful." replied Madam Pomfery. She threw a pair of pajamas. Carina politely thanked the nurse whichshe replied with a small smile.

Madam Pomfrey poured a glass of Skele-Gro. The liquid steamed as she handed to her while saying "You're in for a rough night. Regrowing bones is a nasty business."

Carina took the glass and she tried to gulp it down all without coughing or spluttering. It was absolutely disgusting.

"That rotten teacher! He'll pay for this! Do not worry Cara once father finds out about his deed he'll be sacked!" Draco said smiling at his sister.

Cedric grinned "At least you won! You caught the Snitch!" trying to lighten the mood. A

Draco also grinned in satisfaction "HA! IN POTTER'S FACE!", Carina and Cedric laughed at his childish behavior. During the day the Slytherin team came to the wind yelling happily "LADY CARINA!" making her shake her head while wondering "Please do not tell me this will become a thing." in which all replied including Draco and Cedric "Of course, Lady Carina." Until the end of the day Carina's room was filled with candies and different kind of flowers from all Slytherins, from first years till seventh, all of them wanting to tank their Lady Carina.

"Hey Cedric do you want to some to Slytherin's Party?" asked Draco.

"Is it even allowed to bring someone from other Houses?" Cedric wondered.

"You'd be surprised to know that many people with their girlfriends or boyfriends, most Ravenclaws, usually crash our parties." said Carina.

"Besides if anyone dared to complain we would just say that you are Lady's guest." Draco joked winking at his sister who just rolled her eyes at him. 

Carina laid in her bed as she read a book about healing potions that Madam Pomfrey kindly lent her when out of nowhere she head a noise, seemed like footsteps. Carina glanced at the clock on the wall "It's after curfew. Who could it be? Maybe the heir?" she thought as she grabbed her wand.

"Who's there?"she asked standing from her bed, studying the empty space. Although there seemed to be nothing, Carina has learned to trust her instinct so she raised her wand and said "Petrificus Totalus!".

Suddenly a thud was heard was heard but Carina still coudn't see something. She slowly started walking towards the way the sound was heard from, looking around carefully when out of the blue she tripped on something. letting out a yelp as she fell on the ground.

Carina groaned, it seems as during the fall she hurt her hand once again. As she stretched her good arm to grab her wand that fell from her hand she noticed something out of the ordinary "What the heck?" she thought as she reached to lunge a shoe that it was definitely not hers.

She then realized that the shoe was attached to a foot. Her expression turned to one of puzzlement as she felt a silk fabric beneath her fingertips while she pulled it away from the shoe. A second passed as Carina just blinked at the sight, before her was a very petrified Harry Potter who was only able to move his eyes as he gazed at her with a glint of fear.

Carina then scowled, she sat up with her wand pointed at him "Finite!" then Harry moaned in pain as he tried to stand up only to meet the tip of Carina's wand between his eyes .

"Why are you here?" spoke Carina with a blank eyes staring down at him. Harry just stared back without talking. Carina started to grow annoyed "Well?"

"I wanted to see you." he blurt out making Carina blink in confusion and take a step back giving him enough room to get up.

"And why did you wanted to see me?"

Harry just blushed as he dusted his robes avoiding her piercing blue eyes. Carina's eyes then turned to the fabric that laid still down on the floor. She kneed and pulled towards her as she inspected it "An invisible cloak." she stated then she looked again at the boy who was studying her "In a perfect condition... Where did you get this Potter?"

Harry messed his hair then rubbed his neck nervously "It is a gift. It belonged to my father."

Carina hummed and passed it to him as she said "A heirloom then? It looks really ancient and  I belive that it must have been passed to your family through the centuries.".

Harry gave her a sarcastic smirk "I wouldn't know that."

Carina briefly closed her eyes, she sounded rely insensitive. She opened them, having a gentle blue glow that took Harry's breath away as she said kindly "Sorry."

Harry shrugged "It's okay." For a moment, blue crashed with green as Carina took a step forward pushing Harry's glasses back to his nose, she then said honestly "Slytherins did not tamper that Bludger Potter."

Harry blinked surprised, not expecting that at all. "I know." he replied "An elf did it." he thought bitterly as he eyed Carina's injured arm.

"Good game." he said as he cleared his throat.

Carina nodded "Although, it wasn't really fair for you since you had to dodge a single Budger during it."

Harry grinned "Don't fret Malfoy, in the next match I'll catch it first." he said pointing at himself.

Carina smirked "We'll see Potter." and then she made her way towards her bed. Harry seeing this, fore pulling the cloak over his head he whispered "Good night Malfoy."

Carina laid down as she watched him disappeared "Good night Potter." unaware that the Wonder boy had a huge grin on his face.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The next day the news of a petrified Gryffindor was spread around the corridors of Hogwarts. Many pointed their fingers to Carina Malfoy who was the only one that spend the night outside her dormitory and others to Harry Potter who was caught entering the Gryffindor Common Room after curfew.

"How are my favourite Heirs of Slytherin?" Cedric joked as he ruffled their hair. Now Carina's hair almost reached just beneath her eyes.

"Not funny Ced." Carina said pushing her hair back the same way that her brother's were gelled back.

"Sorry star." he said grinning not feeling sorry at all "So what are my twins doing this Christmas?" Cedric wondered as he walked besides them making the Slytherins who were following them to walk ahead but close enough to keep their eyes on the twins.

"Actually, we are staying at Hogwarts, you?" Draco responded.

Cedric shook his head "I'm going to spent the Christmas with my parents."

As the three of them were walking across Entrance Hall, they saw a small cluster of people gather around the notice board, reading a piece of parchment that just been pinned up.

"They're starting a Dueling Club!" pointed Cedric "It seems that they're dividing the grades, second years have the first meeting this evening."

Carina shared a look with Draco and nodded.

"It might be fun." Draco grinned.

No. No it was definitely not fun. Turns out the one who will be teaching them how to protect themselves was none other than that fool Lockhart.

Carina and Draco exchanged annoyed gazes as they watched Lockhart waving his arm for silence and yelled "Gather around, gather around! Can everyone see me? Can you all hear me? Excellent! Now Professor Dumbledore has granted me permission to start this little dueling club to train you all in  case you ever need to defend yourselves as I myself have done on countless occasions, for full details see my published works." cue for the so calling charming smile "Let me call my assistant Professor Snape!" he said and the Potion Master appeared from the huge doors.

Draco looked over his sister and mouthed "Assistant?" Carina shrugged also finding it not right. They both know that their godfather is an exceptional duelist, their father even had told them stories how Severus Snape had invented his own spells with counter courses but they had never given the chance study them since they held a dark concept.

"Now I don't want any of you youngsters to worry, you'll still have your Potions Master when I'm through with him! Never fear!" Lockhart bragged.

"Snape's going to eat him alive!" Draco whispered to his sister and Carina's lips quirked up in amusement.

Lockhart and Snape faced each other and bowed, then they raised their wands like swords in front of them ready to strike. Lockhat opened his mouth "As you see,we are holding our hands in the accepted combative position. On the count to three we will cast our first spells. Neither of us will be aiming to kill of course!"

"One... Two... Three!"

Both of them swung their wands above their heads and pointed them at their opponent. Snape yelled "Expelliarmus!". There was a flash of red light and Lockhart was blasted off his feet. He flew backwards off the stage, smashed into the wall and slid down to sprawl on the floor.

The Slytherins around Carina cheered, her brother laughed as he mocked Lockhart's fall making Carina chuckle in entertainment.

Lockhart was getting up to his feet unsteadily "Well, there you have it!" he walked back onto the platform. "That was a Disarming Charm, as you see I've lost my wand, ah thank you Miss Brown. Yes, an excellent idea to show them that, Professor Snape, but if you don't mind my saying this, it was obvious what you were about to do. If I wanted to stop you it would have been only to easy, however, I felt it would be instructive to let them see..."

Carina watched as her godfather's face turned murderous. Some one might die, I hope that someone is Lockhart. No I'm joking, let him become severally damaged.

"Enough demonstrating!" called Lockhart "I'm going to come among you now and put you all into pairs. Professor Snape, if you could help me." They moved through the crowd matching up partners and finally Snape reached the Golden Trio.

"Time to spit up the dream team, I think." he sneered "Weasley you can partner with  Finnigan, Potter with Mr. Malfoy," Carina stopped listening as Potter stared at them while Draco strutted over them smirking with Bulstrode behind him.

"Professor Snape." Carina called and Snape's black eyes turned at her "I have no partner." she pointed out. Snape walked towards Carina and softly patted her shoulder.

"We both know that you are to advanced." Snape whispered. Even though magic outside school was forbidden until coming of age, many pureblooded families have found a loopwhole. Having House-Elves comes to handy, not only because of housework but because you can mask underage magic with an elve's magic.

From age eight until now, Lucius Malfoy made sure that his children knew everything there is about magic. It is true that they cannot use a wand until they reach eleven but with their parents present Carina would usually use her mother's as Draco his fathers when casting spells. Not only the Malfoys but many pureblooded families did so. However, not all pureblooded children were that talented with magic as they boasted. Not that Draco wasn't talented in magic, is just that Carina caught things quicker than the most. Something that was passed down by her aunt Alyona that it was past down from someone else.

Carina nodded as she walked towards her brother.

"Cara?" questioned Draco and Harry glanced at her "What are you doing here?"

Carina shrugged "Uneven number, I have no partner. So finish this and come duel with me."

"How about this? The winner gets to partner with you." said Harry boldly making the Malfoy twins raise their eyebrows at him.

"You're going to lose Scarhead." said Draco.

Harry smirked "We'll see Malfoy." throwing Carina's words to her brother.

"Stop! Stop!" screamed Lockhart gaining everyone's attention. Seems like Bulstrode had a tight grip off Granger's head. Poor girl. Meanwhile, Carina's eyes caught Snape whispering something to her brother who nodded in return.

She saw her brother sneering to Potter while he pointed his wand at him "Scared, Potter?"

Harry glared at him also raising his wand "You wish, Malfoy." he glanced briefly at Carina who stood away from the crowd that was forming around the dueling boys with crossed arms observing them.

"Three... Two... One!" shouted Lockhart.

Draco raised his wand quickly and bellowed "Serpensortia!" 

At the end of his wand a long black snake, falling between the two boys. It raised itself to strike and everyone scream as they sifted away. Carina just took some steps back with her wand tight in her hand. She gazed from her brother, to Snape then to Potter. He was standing motionless and staring at the snake eye to eye.

Both Snape and Lockhart offered to get rid of it. Lockhart clearly wanting to show off, he flew he snake into the air, making it angrier by the way, and it fell back to the floor with a loud bang. Right before Carina! It slithered furiously towards her and she quickly raise her wand as she was the snake raise itself again, this time with fangs exposed about to strike.

Then came Harry Potter hissing at the damn snake making Carina's blood run cold with terror. This time she pointed her wand to Harry, he could speak Parseltongue. The snake slumped to the floor, it's yes on Harry as he turned to Carina only to meet the tip of her wand.

Draco rushed towards his sister and stood before her shielding her from Harry's eyes "Stay away from her Potter! " he snapped. Then he grabbed Carina's hand storming out of the hall.

Carina glanced from her shoulder for a second meeting Harry's green emerald eyes which glint with bewilderment making her wonder could he be the Heir of Slytherin?
