Y/N's POV.

I instantly woke up to the sound of screeching. Momo. Trying to block away the noise, I closed my eyes and tried to sleep.

Nope.

I finally managed to get up and saw Momo sitting up in her cot regarding me with a clueless look. She didn't know what was going on, but I did. A waft of nose blistering smell filled the room. Sighing, I threw the bed sheets away from me and stumbled to the door. 5 minutes later, I got rid of the terrible smell, but that didn't stop her from crying. I literally changed her nappy and cleaned her. Then I realised. She was probably hungry. To be honest, I was too.

I headed down the stairs with Momo in my arms. Dad was already ready for work, wearing his smart suit and tie with gelled hair. Taehyung was eating breakfast and playing games on his phone.

I suddenly remember what I needed to say.

"Dad, are you free tonight?" I asked wearily.

"No, not tonight, I have to go to this meeting thing and work over time today, so I would probably be home at around 11." Dad said rushing to the door.

"Oh, okay." I was disappointed.

"Why Y/N?" Dad unlocked the front door.

"Nothing much." I mumbled.

"Well okay I'll see you later, Byeee." Dad slammed the door behind him.

I rapidly whipped my head towards Taehyung.

"Don't look at me, I'm not the one responsible for your daughter." Taehyung causally leaned back. "Besides, I got stuff to do today."

I gave him a suspicious glare.

"Great excuse Taehyung, I'm not fooling for that." I ran my fingers through my hair.

"I'm not joking, I need to go shopping with some friends, then go to a party later so I don't have any time to look after your daughter. Besides, don't you have something important to do now like... feeding your daughter."

Taehyung beamed happily at Momo.

Well, he sure wanted to dodge my question.

"I made some pancakes for you Y/N, they're in the pan and Momo's baby porridge is in the cooling hob." Taehyung said while chewing his pancakes, obviously changing the subject.

"Okay thanks Tae." I said sarcastically as I sat Momo in her high chair. I tried a spoonful of her baby porridge to test the temperature. It tasted bland and tasteless. Did I forget how terrible baby food tested? Probably.

Putting Momo's porridge in front of her, I headed to the pan to get my pancakes.

"Watch out!" Taehyung screeched at a high pitch.

I swung my head around and there was nothing there, but when I looked at the pan, the pancakes were gone.

"TAEHYUNG! GIVE ME MY PANCAKES" I screamed.

Momo giggled like it was the funniest thing in the world. I didn't find it funny though.

Taehyung cracked up as well.

"Momo can't eat by herself, you have to feed her" Taehyung began.

"What are you trying to imply Kim Taehyung?" my blood was boiling. I WANTED MY PANCAKES BACK!

"You feed Momo first, then I'll give your pancakes back."

"Fine then." I rolled my eyes.

I fed Momo her porridge then I was finally able to eat my now cold pancakes. I couldn't be bothered to make them warm. I was just too hungry. I headed towards the fridge to get a drink but there was nothing to drink, there was only goat milk.

"Why is there goat milk in the fridge? Are you trying to torture me" I wondered because I hated goat milk.

"It's better than cow milk, anyways it's not for you, it's for Momo because goat milk is a great source of protein, it contains less sugar, has more vitamin B6 and vitamin A, 13% more calcium and has 134% more potassium than regular cow's milk." Taehyung lectured.

"Woah, a lot of research there Taetae." I said, astonished that he knew that off by heart.

"Of course, if you need help, I'm always here," Taehyung smiled.

I almost forgot how loving Taehyung was.

"Well thanks." I paused. "But Taehyung, I need to go to Jimin's birthday party tonight, so could you please just-"

"Well take Momo with you then." Taehyung replied without hesitation and strode up the stairs.

Talking to Taehyung was useless. I couldn't take Momo with me. What would Jimin think?What would the others think? I was no way missing my boyfriend's birthday, but I guess I had no choice.
